I'm the operations manager for the digital managed services business unit at a strategic consultancy.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mate Quality Services - MQS?

MQS provided Performance, Load and Stress Testing services for several of our clients during the last 4 years.

What were your goals for this project?

Our clients needed to have a third party to performance, load and stress test the environments and applications we provided/upgraded in order to compare to their current baseline. Remediations and restes where done to have the environments perform better than baseline.

MQS has a team of experts with proven experience that we needed to immediately see results. Our clients were deeply satisfied with the results of our partnership.

Describe the project in detail.

MQS provided Performance, Load and Stress Testing services for several of our deployment and upgrade project specifically to Oracle EPM and Oracle BI tools. Project was managed using agile methodologies.

What was the team composition?

Normally our EPM/BI projects include a project manager, infrastructure specialist, functional specialist and when we need to include performance, load and stress testing we add the 2 resources for that track provided by MQS. Basically a specialist that will lead that part of the initiative and testing consultant.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

All of our projects enabled our clients environments to perform better than the baseline resulting on success stories.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The right methodology was in place to communication was perfect and we really worked integrated as one team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The ability to deliver high quality on short time because of the experience and expertise they have at ever level. It was easy to communicate with them and set the foundation to work effectively.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I wish we have more opportunities to keep working together.

I’m a senior development manager for a wealth management company. We have a rough total of 50 employees that’s designated into seven teams mainly consisting of front- and backend engineers and QA specialists.

We have worked with a total of 7–8 people who we relegated into specific roles. There are currently five team members who are still integrated into our team.

Our former QA manager engaged with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together around June 2017. The partnership has remained ongoing since then.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We measure the amount of test cases and automation cases being built and defects that escape testings. The team has proven to be quite effective as they continue to produce good test processes per cycle.

How did Mate Quality Services perform from a project management standpoint?

We control deadlines and delivery internally. All our strategies are communicated regularly with the rest of the team. They are open to working overtime when needed to meet deadlines.

We’d like it if they could have more training programs in place for their resources.
