I’m the co-owner of Panier Du Fermier. We offer fruit and vegetable boxes for direct sale to our clients.

What challenge were you trying to address with Marrone Films?

We needed a company that could produce creative content for our social media channels.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired Marrone Films to create 15-20 second reels to showcase our produce. They shoot live footage of our fresh produce and handle all of the video editing and audio mixing for the final reels.

We’ve worked with Riccardo (Owner) and Tanya (Executive Producer).

How did you come to work with Marrone Films?

Marrone Films is actually fairly well known in the industry for creating wonderful videos, so we decided to hire them for this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our customers have commented very positively on the videos that Marrone Films have produced. They seem to really like how colorful, engaging, and creative the videos are.

In terms of quantitative feedback, we don’t really have metrics or data to measure how successful the videos are. But we do think that they’ve helped increase our online visibility, social media engagement, and overall sales.

How did Marrone Films perform from a project management standpoint?

Marrone Films is very professional and punctual. If they say that a video will be finished by a certain date, they would make sure to stick to that deadline or even deliver the video ahead of time.

We typically communicate through email and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re most impressed with Marrone Films’ original and creative insights. They’re very precise and attentive to detail, and their brainstorming process for creative ideas is incredibly impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. They’ve been nothing but fantastic.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to have a concept prepared and to discuss that concept with Marrone Films in great detail, so they have a better understanding of what you want to achieve.

For what projects/services did your company hire Marrone Films, and what were your goals?

We hired Marrone Films for a music video production. Our goal was to ensure that the video is of the highest (Hollywood) calibre.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Having worked with Marrone in the past, we knew they were one of the few that could deliver the quality we were looking to attain. We also understood that once we hired Marrone Films, they would spearhead with little supervision what needed to be done and accomplished.

We had several meetings to decide how the storyboard would look like. Rick was quick to begin planning and executing on what was required to get this from paper to reality.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Worked with Rick. My feedback is pretty simple. He's a genius in his craft, and humble enough to take/consider ideas and thoughts from even those who have no experience in filming. It's what I personally feel makes him unique.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our music video has hit over 200,000 views in less than 3 months. The caliber surely helped us secure the channels we needed in order to attain these high numbers for an indie artist

The management style is very methodical and efficient. Whatever was discussed was immediately put on a shared google sheet.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed with their quick turnaround time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I know every company has room for improvement, but for the amount paid, the value that was received was above and beyond. Rick is and has always been one that delivers beyond expectations.

Marrone Films assisted us by producing videos for our social media channels. We also did a few branding videos, as well as teasers for our launch and a series of 30 product videos.

They’re a well-known company in Montreal for wedding videos, so we already knew of them based on their portfolio.

Our partnership ran from June–November 2021.

The videos they produced were fantastic and we were extremely satisfied with their work — I wouldn’t have taken so many measures to give them a review if I wasn’t happy with what they delivered.

They get an A+ across the board, as they were able to communicate well throughout the partnership. We typically interacted through phone, Zoom, and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were highly impressed with the quality of their work.

I can’t think of anything they needed to improve on because they performed fantastically.

To get the most out of their engagement, I would suggest engaging them for CTA campaigns.

We’ve used them on several occasions for video production.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I’ve worked with Marrone Films for business and personal video production. I hired them for my wedding — they filmed the whole day and created an actual video and a reel for Instagram. They’ve also done promo videos for my company. The videos range from anywhere from 30 seconds to 15 minutes. In summary, they’re in charge of the whole project, from editing to filming, final production, and audio mixing.

What is the team composition?

They have a few people working with them, but we usually deal directly with Riccardo (Owner) and Tanya (Executive Producer).

How did you come to work with Marrone Films?

We’ve been in the digital business for a long time, and they’ve filmed at many events we’ve been to. Seeing their work through the years, we’re sure they’re 100% the way to go when we need a video.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $7,000–$8,000 CAD (approximately $5,000–$6,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

The first time we used them was in June 2018. We’re not currently engaged with them; the last time we used them was in July 2021.

The videos always have great quality. We’ve published them on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and social media. The promos also go on our website.

They do great films in general, and the quality of their work is exceptional.
