Firstly, we hired Marketing Link for SEO and PPC in 2017. After that, we took a pause and handled digital marketing in-house. Since July 2018, we returned to PPC but took a brief pause in spring 2022. The Marketing Link did an amazing job for us, starting with choosing the right keywords. They used various sources, including previous campaigns, Google Ads search terms, Keyword Planner, SerpStat data, and competitor insights. They organized these keywords with the Key Collector tool and separated out the negatives.

For our Google Ads, they implemented a smart approach by mixing exact and broad match types for each keyword group. They also cleaned up by removing keywords with low search volume from the past year and crafted a comprehensive list of negative keywords from the last two years’ search terms.

Unlike before, where a single Google Display Network campaign ran without specific targeting, the agency launched several new campaigns. These targeted various combinations of keywords, placements (excluding apps and YouTube), demographics (like age and income for pricier tours), topics, remarketing efforts, and even video campaigns. They found the best success with a strategy that combined keywords and lookalike audiences based on people interested in our offerings, like those looking for Dominican Republic Tours, which was aligned with the audience's interests from the SilpoVoyage, a top tour agency’s website.

Their detailed and thoughtful approach significantly outperformed the simpler tactics we'd seen before.

The goal was to increase sales. We started to cooperate with SEO in 2017. Started from scratch, so in first year in % we had great increasing more than 20 times. But comparing results, I prefer to compare 2018 with current one, and 2022 was better for 10 times than 2018. In 2018 added Google Ads Management Services, after some time added Paid Social.

As, you can see this year will be the seven year of cooperation🙂, so Marketing Link has definitely reached our goals and expectations, and we continue increasing.

in SEO scale for 5 years of work traffic increased +940% (yes, more than x10 times for 5 year work, and with the same purchase conversion).

100% transparent digital marketing services. Most impressive is transparency. We started in 2016, and Mykola insisted on creating all separate accounts for all projects which we worked. For me, it was little strange, because we worked with couple projects, and all were in Vet sphere, a couple of them were paid from the same LLC. The solution was right, and couple years later I quit from one project leaved all duties to other owners, so we didn't have problems with access.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Marketing Link could have done differently?

Yes, there is one thing. If they can provide SMM content strategy would be great. Because they do awesome Paid Social services, but for posting content I have to ask my managers. Yes, of course my managers better know how to write about Veterinary products. I would like to pay with pleasure also for fourth SMM services for outsourcing this from my in house staff, but Marketing Link don't provide this service at this moment.

For what projects/services did your company hire Marketing Link, and what were your goals?

We have team in CA, but we had planned to expand to EU market, so desired to hire team on outsourced from Ukraine. Goals were to expand new markets.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We started finding PPC team after Ukrainian/Russian war. Planned to hire some medium agency (not big with 50+ employees, and not small as just freelancers). They blog (https://marketing.link/blog/cases/) was the reason why we left request there. Also reviews, we didn't expect to English ones After their quick response and discussing by Nick and Dasha chose them

We are IT team, our website https://www.trackstreet.com/ is on WP. But, they found important bugs in on-page SEO, so firstly we repair it. After tuning Analytics (Nick was a very experienced guy, and we implemented all what he advised to) we launch a dozen Google Ads campaigns. They recommended to use different campaign for different country. So for each we had: couple search + display + performance Max. After, we tested Facebook Ads and LinkedIn Ads. Not all were profitable. So, now focusing on better ones.

We worked and working with account manager and Nick was in copy whole time. They give tasks for their marketers and control the whole work.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Google Ads campaigns were very successful. We decreased CPL in US for 30% and improved CAC for 20%. For our LTV, it's wonderfully. After 7 month we increased Ad budget 3 times and got 4 times leads and sales. On Google Ads performed better Search and Performance Max campaigns. We tested Facebook CPC and Facebook Leads. On LinkedIn was great LinkedIn Leads.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had plan for month, also every week they sent report. For last 7 month we have 20 calls and discussed in Google Meet all important values.

They're really a client-oriented company. We asked about Linkedin Traffic (they could easy set it), but they recommended advertising in a little other way, with LinkedIn leads. We are happy to work with.

Except PPC, Paid Social and SEO they good in CRO. We implemented couple advices and increase conversion.

Now that you know it’s impossible to control search rankings—personalized search results, frequent, and sometimes even daily algorithm updates, as mentioned above—you may ask a reasonable question: “When will SEO start to generate leads and sales?” We have to disappoint you slightly. It depends on a number of factors: site age, whether any optimization has been done before, the website’s topic and competition, the amount of content, the quality and quantity of backlinks, and many other ranking factors. Every site is different, and business goals vary, but nonetheless, we can outline a timeline within the first six months. 1-2 months We check your website’s SEO, keyword strategy, and planning. If edits can be made quickly, the technical SEO audit will be completed within one month. Clients typically make edits during the first month, but remember—the sooner you make changes, the faster you will see results. We also begin backlink building and content creation immediately after payment and agreement. 3-4 months We implement changes to the website according to the results of the SEO audit. In some cases, websites require drastic measures, which can take a few months. If your website falls into this category, even with ongoing content and backlink work, you won’t see results immediately—changes will only take effect once fully implemented. 5-6 months We continue working with content and backlinks. By this time, you’ll have a clearer understanding of how to distribute the budget effectively and what to focus on through continuous collaboration. Technical tasks will be completed, and you’ll start noticing results. Typically, it takes around 4 to 6 months to see noticeable improvements. However, results within the first six months are preliminary and will continue to grow month by month. SEO has a cumulative effect, and after a year, the results will be even better—just be patient.

We guarantee quality services as outlined in the contract, including: 1. Exclusion of irrelevant search queries with over 5 clicks as negative keywords. 2. Addition of high-performing search queries as exact match keywords to reduce CPC. 3. Optimization of placements in media campaigns by disabling low-performing ones. 4. Adjustment of bids for CPA/CPL/ROAS by increasing bids for high-performing keywords and reducing them for underperformers (e.g., no conversions in the past month or CPA 50% worse than the account average). 5. Review and application or rejection of Google recommendations. 6. Adjustment of bids based on location performance. 7. Identification of new ways to scale advertising campaigns. 8. We do not guarantee specific performance or conversions because many factors influence outcomes, such as your ad account, Google algorithms, competitors, and external market conditions. After 4–5 months, we provide more accurate predictions, but the first 1–3 months typically do not offer enough data for reliable planning.

SEO is like a long-term investment—you optimize your website gradually and for lasting results, while Paid Search Ads drive traffic to your website and temporarily increase revenue and conversions, but only as long as you pay for each click. Because of the ongoing need to pay for every click, many believe that Paid Search Ads cannot compare to organic search results. This is partly true: research shows that 40% of users click on paid ads. However, advertising is crucial for Google, and it does everything to ensure users keep clicking on ads—it is constantly optimized, new tools are introduced, and, most importantly, bid costs and competition continue to rise. If you decide to launch ads from a new account, you should allocate time to “warm it up.” Google constantly improves its ads, making them less noticeable and more personalized. Facebook follows a similar approach. If you focus only on Paid Search Ads, you will always have to pay, as they lack the cumulative effect of SEO. In contrast, SEO results can start to show after about six months, depending on the budget. To rank locally on Google’s top pages, you need to work as much as your competitors, and to surpass them, you’ll need to work significantly harder. A logical strategy is to allocate a budget for both SEO and Paid Search Ads. Organic traffic will eventually come and remain steady for a while, even if you stop building backlinks and creating content.
