Our company is developing and manufacturing a revolutionary pool safety alarm system for residential pools.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire MARIMIX, and what were your goals?

We wanted a series of videos for the launch of our new product. Our goals was to make a video that will demonstrate the product capabillity and necessity.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have met with several leading video production companies, before selecting Marimix for this project. The deciding factors:

1. Personal approach, it was very important for Elad to understand our needs and goals.
2. Professional work, we were impressed by Marimix previous projects.
3. Price was attractive, comparing to other providers at similar level.

1. We started with a session with the writer and producer. We discussed our product in detail, its advantages, the croud we are looking for, compettitors etc.
2. Next step was receiving a draft script, and progressing with feedbacks from both sides until a candidate script was ready.
3. Selecting actors and location from several options.
4. Actual filming day - this was a very long day as every scene was repeatidly recorded until Elad and Reut were satisfied from the results.
5. We received the first video version after about a week of editing, and sent our feedbacks.
6. Final version was ready after about 2 weeks. Project was then continued with minor requests from us for different subtuitles, voice over, and different editted variations for Amazon/Facebook etc.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with Elad and Reut from beginning till the end. Communication was fast and effective (Whatsapp/phone/email). They are very responsive and convinient to work with. Every comment from us was discussed and needed changes were made rapidly.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We used the Video in several tradeshows, and responses were amazing. Our distributors love the videos.

Elad and Reut are a botique production house, they are very approachable and responsive. We used mostly whatsapp and phone calls to communicate, but they are very flexible on communication methods.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed by their aspiration for perfection, both during filming and on the editing stage.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The truth is no...

I'm the CEO and Founder of Voice Crafters, a multilingual agency and marketplace for professional voice over production.

For what projects/services did your company hire MARIMIX, and what were your goals?

I hired MARIMIX to produce a promo video for our YouTube Channel and website. I wanted a dynamic, fun and yet informative video that explains the process of hiring talent through our website in an entertaining way.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Elad and Reut were highly recommended to me by a voice actor that I have worked with for years. I have seen their previous work and was immediately convinced that they are perfect for this project.

Elad, Reut, and I scheduled a conference call where I gave them an idea of what I was looking for after I had thought about a general concept that I had in mind. The idea was of a female advertising executive who interacted with the website and the voice actor she chose to work with, and ended up hiring.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I worked with a professional actor and his wife (who is also a professional actress). There were a few small changes I asked Reut to make after the editing phase which she implemented.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Reut and Elad immediately "got" what I had in mind, added their own music and effects where needed and produced a video that hit all the right notes as I'm concerned. The feedback we received from people who viewed the video was that it was very professional and "worked" in that it does exactly what our goal was - to show a user how to use the website in an entertaining and informative fashion.

I think Elad and Reut excel in understanding what their client wants and basically taking ownership of the project. I felt like they were personally invested in every aspect. From the pre-production phase (concept, location scouting, talent casting, etc.) to the production and post-production - all the way to delivering the final product.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The personal commitment. Despite the relatively low budget I had for this project, both Elad and Reut put their best foot forward and made this a production they themselves are happy to be behind. This speaks volumes of how much they care about their work.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Can't think of anything.

The goal of the project was to make a short promotional video that would describe the current problem in the industry and the solution proposed by us. The video should be used for marketing purposes.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I checked several providers. The decision was based on samples, price and personal feeling after a Zoom meeting.

The Process of the project:

1. we wrote a scenario
2. we Approved it with Marimix,
3. we gave them our vision and insights.
4. we reviewd each one of the versions.

I worked with Elad&Reut.  We had several rounds of revisions. We used a google sheet for comunication + emails and calls.

The schedule was tight. The Communication was conducted by email and phone with short response times.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

A boutique company that provides fast service.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Pay more attention to the small details in the final version (spelling mistakes, etc.)
