Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Marketing and Communication Manager at Morcon Tissue. Morcon is a paper converting company three locations across the US - NY, SC and OK. Our towel, tissue, napkin, specialty products, and systems meet the needs of today’s Away-From-Home market segments, including food service, industrial, sanitation, healthcare, and commercial. My job is to make sure our brand identity, marketing efforts, collateral, website and more are up to date and reaching our goals.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mannix Marketing?

We were looking to enhance our brand and increase our digital footprint on our website and beyond. Our website was developed 5 years ago and we don’t have much in-house expertise in SEO or website optimization. We found a partner to outsource both of these to in Mannix.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to drive traffic to our website and show up on people’s webpages by utilizing keywords to become first in search. We also wanted to enhance our website to the point where it was much more user-friendly, faster, easier to navigate and provided customers with the information they need to make educated decisions. We added a lot of resources and subpages with Mannix's help.

How did you select this vendor?

We met with a few agencies in our area but Mannix had worked with previous vendors who did design work for us and came highly recommended. They were familiar with our website and the quality of their final proposal and knowledge in the are sold us.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

The first project Mannix took on was our website blueprint. This was n extensive report they compiled after weeks of research. The team provided us with a comprehensive review of our current website and what improvements needed to be made. They worked with us on what should be tackled first and what they needed from our team to proceed. Then every month, after finishing these initial projects, they worked on optimizing SEO and add product photos, blogs, and more.

What was the team composition?

We first met with the owner and once we moved forward, we’ve worked closely with a few digital team members and when adjusting spend or project focus, we usually meet with the department head to discuss.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Traffic on our website has increased in more conversions. We have a longer time spent on our site and since beginning our work, we have increased keywords on the first page of search from 19 to 136 and an additional 57 are on the second page.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project managers are extremely responsive and always willing to hop on a call or have a face-to-face meeting when warranted.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The knowledge this vendor has is incredible. As well as the variety of industries they work with. I think the way they have been able to take our novice team to website managers has been impressive. We work together and it is a positive and collaborative experience.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We've been extremely satisfied with their work!

We wanted a site to target our geographic area and generate new leads.

We previously worked with a larger web development firm but found it very costly. It did not work well for a small company that was not looking for global services. We heard about Mannix Marketing from clients we were doing business with.

We have been live for about six months and we’re getting new customers every week.

The project manager stayed in constant contact and kept the project moving forward from day one.

Our website looks professional, and that is a critical component of attracting new clients. The site functions well and delivers a great UX. First impressions are critical in a competitive business, and their deliverables ensured just that.

I honestly can't think of anything.

I’m the CEO of Clutchgrowth, a digital marketing consulting firm, but I’ve worked with Mannix Marketing since 2011, in various roles at different companies.

We needed to drive more qualified leads for our sales team, as well as grow our SEO presence and optimize our PPC ads.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted more qualified leads for our sales team, increased SEO traffic, and optimization of our PPC spend while testing new tactics.

How did you select this vendor?

I've worked with this company since 2011. They’ve helped with an edtech company, an e-commerce front, as well as with B2B demand generation.

Describe the project in detail.

We wanted to increase our SEO traffic by 15-20% year-over-year. We also wanted to launch proper paid search campaigns with optimized landing pages and measure our conversion rates. Another initiative was to create display retargeting that would lead to a persuasive conversion page.

They’ve also helped me on the e-commerce front, in addition to B2B demand generation - driving qualified leads across various organic and paid efforts via SEO, PPC, and website optimization.

Can you share any statistics or metrics that speak to the quality of their work and impact of the engagement?

SEO traffic is up 20% year-over-year. Our PPC and retargeting campaigns are converting at higher rates than ever before.

How did the Mannix Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They follow up with meeting notes after every call and provide weekly and monthly updates. We take on project management duties ourselves but they’re really communicative and helpful.

What impresses you about the Mannix Marketing?

The have an amazing depth of knowledge about SEO, PPC, and website optimization. A lot of people "do SEO" or "do PPC", but Mannix Marketing has real data and truly understands it, and can deliver results. What I appreciate the most is the attention to detail. They provide alerts when there are any outages or website issues or search console issues. They don't take short-cuts and they do their due diligence. Most importantly, they get results.

LCI is a mid-sized San Francisco-based public relations/marketing/digital firm that has been working with Mannix Marketing for more than a decade.  I am the CEO/President at LCI.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mannix Marketing?

Our challenge was - and still is - to make sure that LCI appears at the top of every search (and in digital marketing paid searches) for targeted prospects. These are prospects that are looking for marketing communications/digital/public relations services not just in the San Francisco Bay Area and California (where we are located), but nationally. Mannix has delivered in spades.

Mannix has provided a comprehensive program for LCI. The program aimed at maximizing organic search and paid search. Their tactics and how they did are proprietary and were tailored to my business. The process was seamless.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We are consistently in the top-ranked agencies for organic searches, paid searches, and voice searches as well. We consistently have a pipeline of more than 40 prospects and much of that is due to their terrific work. I recommend them highly.
