I looked and interviewed a host of other graphic artist before Mambo. Mambo was highly recommended by my post supervisor and I could not have been MORE thankful. Their slate of work, the speed of how quickly they responded and in general Juan and Maria made me confident in my choice. We started with a general meeting where I explained the project and the deliverables I would need from mambo. Once we were ready, they sent over "first looks" at design elements. Then, we created them for one video and got client approvals before implementing the entire design across all client videos. Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like? We worked with Maria and she would upload motion graphics on FrameIO where we would comment on them directly. It was very easy- we would submit comments and she would version stack them so we an always look back at older drafts **RESULTS & FEEDBACK** Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success? Our client loves the end product- they even said at one point "I've never seen a first draft of art and graphics work come back so on brand" They were definitely impressed. We've worked with a lot of animation partners in the past and I can tell you from experience - it's hard to find a good one. MAMBO Studio checks all the boxes for us. They're fast, friendly, flexible, affordable and work within our same time zone (In the US). However, the BIGGEST reason for selecting this vendor is that I could tell they truly care about our experience, our service and our customers. They understand our overall goals and the meaning of a true partnership. They understand that when they help us out, they're really helping themselves. This is invaluable in a partner. We'll usually start with aligning on budget/expectations before a deal is closed on our end. Once we get a signed proposal and do our kick-off call, we'll send a brief to Mambo studios and they'll get to work on mood boards, design, storyboard - whatever is needed first for a particular project. They can be as involved or uninvolved as needed at any stage of the production. Sometimes I give them a lot of guidance, other times not. I can trust they'll always use their best judgment and do their best work Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like? I primarily work with Juan and Maria. The feedback process varies from project to project. In a perfect world, clients would provide concise and consolidated feedback in a review page - but that is not always the case. They're comfortable hopping on calls with clients to discuss feedback directly, they can interpret notes well, know when to push back, etc. **RESULTS & FEEDBACK** Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success? We've had nothing but positive feedback from clients on our end. The biggest success for us is that we can always count on them to do a good job and be flexible. So we're able to provide clients with instantaneous quotes/scopes of work on projects which has lead to more deals closed. When they came to us with the proposal we really loved it, they had great ideas for us! We showed them a few explainer videos from other companies that we loved and their proposal had everything we loved about those videos. We started with a discovery meeting where we told them about our product, what we were hoping to get as the end result and we also showed them videos from other software companies that we liked. After a few days, they came to us with a great proposal, a mood board and other examples of videos that they thought could work for us. Once we accepted their proposal they sent us their timeline and explained to us the way we were going to work. Their timeline was very clear and they showed us who was going to work on each section of the video, on top of assigning us a project manager. They were always very open to feedback and to making sure that we were totally satisfied with the outcome. Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like? We worked with Maria Paula and Juan, who managed our timeline. They would submit deliverables for us to review and give feedback on. In the final stages of the project where the video was put together, they also had a feedback tool that allowed us to add specific comments for timestamps of the video. The final video helped us explain our product in a clear and efficient way. It also helped us showcase some important features of the software.
