I’m a buyer for an electrical distribution company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mage Monkeys?

The main issue was that we had to change our web page domain due to law purposes. Also, we had to change our logo on our website front page.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mage Monkeys helped us change our website. The design was already there; they just changed the domain and logo on the front page. The site's main purpose was that customers could buy electrical products straight from us.

What is the team composition?

We work with two people; one is the manager. She takes us to the right person to speak to and does the invoices. Additionally, the other person is the one that makes the changes to the website.

How did you come to work with Mage Monkeys?

My coworker found them through a referral. They’d done our services before, and they were the only ones that could help us with this.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $1,400.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2021, and our relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They took action right away and sent us the process, telling us how long it’d take and what we needed to do. It was amazing, and they probably succeeded in 2–3 days.

How did Mage Monkeys perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is excellent all around. They're in India, but they call us on our time, which is nice. It’s easy to work with them, and they’re flexible. Also, they send us a breakdown of the hours they’ve done. For example, we can buy 25 hours, and they make an Excel spreadsheet to log in the changes they’ve done date by date, which is great.

We use Skype, texts, calls, and emails to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They delivered quickly, and we spent zero time arguing. We told them what we needed to do, and they told us what needed to be done. Then, they sent us an invoice, we paid, and they started working on the website the next day.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’ve done excellently.

We gave Mage Monkeys an idea of what we wanted the store to look like, as well as functionalities we desired. From there, the team developed and designed the store. They integrated different expansions and payment options, as well.

We work with one person on the business side of things, handling finances and contracts, etc. We also work with one person who was in charge of programming and all that it entails.

I found them on Google.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent €5,000 (approximately $6,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in May 2019, and the collaboration is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I don’t have statistics to share, as the site is not yet completed. There are times I have to repeat certain parts of instruction that have been missed. However, they listen, make adjustments, and do a good job in the end.

How did Mage Monkeys perform from a project management standpoint?

Mage Monkeys’ response time is very good. We mainly communicate via email, but there are occasional phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their work is comparable to other companies I’ve worked with, and their price is attractive for what they deliver.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could be more proactive in contributing ideas and suggestions to improve the project, and more things that could be integrated.

Specify exactly what your needs are so everyone is on the same page of understanding the scope.
