We hired Madavi Agency to build & develop an interactive web based marketplace that will facilitate seamless interaction of our farmers & vendors. This interaction is enabled by use of Whatsapp bots for efficient ordering. They will also enable disbursement of small loans to the farmers through use of IOT & Data Analytics tools that are embedded in the platform.

A simple, easy to use interactive marketplace for our customers with whatsapp bot integration.

It was based on a competitive bidding process where they emerged as the best company to have tendered in a proposal.

They were responsible for building the platform ground up with respect to the documentation provided & guidelines. That is design, development & testing of both the web & the whatsapp based interactive platform.

The team was made up of 5 people with Victor as the Project lead.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This solution will be the basis of all our customer focused interactions, acting as the platform upon which customers place orders, monitor logistics & pay for the orders.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We used Notion platform for the Project Management & Collaboration between the teams. It worked perfectly well and was efficient for both teams.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They never disappointed on the timelines. They're always on time with the deliverables.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The team will surely get better with time.

Flux design Ltd is an engineering design consultancy based in Nairobi Kenya. I am the managing director.

We are a startup and our company was looking for an affordable but quality IT and web creation solutions provider.

Our first goal was securing a domain name and setting up emails for official communications. We are currently in the design stages of the website.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to secure an affordable domain without having to lose our company names. Madavi was able to filter through the various options and proposed Flux-design.co.

We are very happy with the savings, which we channeled to stage 2- the website design. Together with Madavi we are working on an interactive web site that showcases our VR and AR projects.

We were referred to MADAVI by a mutual friend who had worked with them previously. We were satisfied with the work samples provided by MADAVI, and their references spoke well of them.

We had a sit down with Victor (director) and my team and gave him a brief on our need to acquire a domai name and hosting services.

MADAVI sent a proposal with a list of possible domain names and web hosts, that would fulfill our security and costs needs. After further discussions we settled on using namechip for securing on domain name and hosting.

What was the team composition?

Both directors from our company and Victor (MADAVI director).

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have effective mail communication. Having dedicated work emails relieves one of the clutter of mixing personal and work emails.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

From our interaction with Victor, we are impressed by their dedication to quality and detail. We have never suffered a downtime of more than 10min. Their response to issues is commendable. We also receive bi weekly feedback calls from MADAVI

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed at their competence, their top-notch customer care, their proactiveness, and their interactiveness.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Perhaps having a larger workforce. It would be great to have a team of 3 to 4 working on our website. Judging from what they are able to deliver when only 2 are working I believe they can deliver the same quality with half the time.

What challenge were you trying to address with Madavi Agency?

We hired Madavi Agency to help develop a mobile app and web platform.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Madavi Agency developed the Android mobile application and part of the web platform. Both of these products are intended to handle the construction process, starting with a client contracting an engineer and ending with delivering the final product. 

We explained how this process works and the various levels of contractors, inspectors, and other key components so they understood the goal of the product. From there, they developed the software from scratch. We’re now in the testing phase and they incorporate changes based on our feedback.

I’ve worked with three people from their team.

After seeing some of their work elsewhere, I thought it’d be a good idea for them to help with our project.

We’ve spent $5,000.

We started working together in July 2019 and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

So far, everything is good with the platforms. We appreciate the work they’ve done and we’re nearly finished and ready to go live. 

How did Madavi Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done quite well with project management. The turnaround time works for us. They use a tool to log the project’s status, but we don’t use it on our end. They deliver everything by a certain date. When giving us the final product, they do a presentation during our meeting and receive feedback. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re quite skilled in producing ideas and managing their time. The turnaround time they offer is perfect for our needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We really appreciate the work they’ve done, so there’s nothing they could improve.

Dedicate your time to the project and give feedback as fast as possible. They want to work and need your feedback to meet those timelines.
