Our goals for the project were to generate a specific revenue target, and from there continue to grow and expand outward with our digital reach.

We selected Lyfe Marketing after doing rigorous research and phone call meetings with several marketing firms. After speaking with different companies, at different marketing price points, it became evident to us that Lyfe would be the right fit for our brand and for our company.

After signing on with Lyfe, we had a series of meetings and phone calls to discuss our goals for the brand, and what the exact steps would be to help us achieve those goals. Both Sherman (CEO/Founder) and Cargill (Account Manager) have been instrumental in outlining a plan that would be effective for us in order to achieve our goals. Step by step, as each piece of the plan was enacted, we were guided to the next steps.

Along the way, we've had continuous phone and email communication. Adjustments have been made where deemed fit with both the knowledge of the Lyfe team and the input of our team here at Pink Papyrus. The results have been steadily growing since the first month we initiated our services with Lyfe.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since beginning our services with Lyfe (about the course of 6 months):

1. Our email subscription list has increased by more than 1,500 subscribers.
2. In 2020, our retail e-commerce site sales have increased nearly to goal, and continue to grow monthly. The number of individual orders on our e-commerce site has increased by 1,957.1% over all of 2019. Gross revenue is up by 2,128.4% over all of 2019. Our average order value has also seen an 8.3% increase over all of 2019.
3. We are being recognized from our social media ads, and our Instagram account has also seen an increase in follower count by several thousand.
4. The e-commerce site conversion rate has increased to 0.64% The funnel that has been established for us continues to target potential customers who would be a good fit for our brand and the products that we offer.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication is above and beyond easy and smooth. Any communication we have sent the Lyfe team has been responded to within 24 hours. When situations have arisen that require more assistance, Cargill and Sherman have made time to get on the phone with us outside normal business hours (early in the morning or late in the evening).

There has never been a request, question, comment, or concern that has been too large or too small. Each time we communicate, we are treated with the utmost respect and given all the time we need to feel comfortable with the task or topic at hand.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We have found the truthfulness and honesty of this company to be the most valuable asset that they provide. Having worked with several prior marketing companies, with very abysmal results, we were extremely cautious about working with another marketing company in the future. Lyfe has changed our perception of what success and communication means on the digital front. There hasn't been anything that was communicated to us that was false or misleading.

Everything that was told to us, down to the timeline, has come to fruition. Lyfe requests that you be patient with them as they. begin the process of optimizing your account, and if you are, you will see the result of all their hard work. The worst thing you can encounter is a company that over promises and under delivers. That is not the case with Lyfe at all. What they can promise you, is that they will do everything in their power to see your brand, your company, your name succeed in the industry that you are in.

I only worked with and spoke to one person at the firm. I asked several times to speak to a manager because I was not happy with the progress and that was constantly denied.

I hired Lyfe Marketing in November 2019 to build out an email drip campaign and they never finished the job. 1 out of 4 email funnels are working and its been 4 months. I've followed up several times and no progress. I also used Lyfe marketing to build out Facebook marketing campaigns as well and they did almost no work. I paid them to set up campaigns on Facebook and LinkedIN They never built anything on LinkedIN and they set up one campaign on FB. They promised they would design ads and they built 1 ad in 3 months.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They said they would get the job done, but little to no progress after countless follow-ups

How did you select this vendor?

After speaking with several companies we decided to go with them based on some reviews we read online. We always try to avoid any negative reviews and look for the positives. The people who reviewed them well spoke highly. The original representative had all the answers and was very friendly

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

They were to create a social media campaign. They were to create marketable graphics based on the photos we provided. From their we would use these images on the landing pages they were supposed to create. We would then obtain emails and use those to begin our email marketing campaign or to show customers why our products are worth the purchase.

Additionally, they were to provide unlimited web development services whenever our company sent in a request. Restrictions did apply. They would take all of this and a pre-determined allotted marketing fund and begin marketing throughout facebook with ADs and campaigns and boosted post

What was the team composition?

From my understanding, the team was originally composed of a Business rep who would transfer me to a project manager. From there the project manager would handle everything unless I needed to speak with the Business rep.

I am unsure exactly because when we started the Business Rep handling our case was let go and we were left in a void with no contact until a little while after our initial contact day.

We then spoke with one of the owners who called to apologize for the situation and immediately worked to get us with someone that day. Which they did :-)

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We can definitely speak to the companies ability to take limited resources with photos and creating a look and feel based on conversations and forms we filled out. We had worked with other companies who were unable to accomplish this. They really nailed how the look and feel for our graphics.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Overall the workflow was not too effective. We had weekly phone calls for about an hour where we would go over everything which needed to be completed. However, on many occasions, we would have to re-explain what we were asking for. We had to re-explain what needed to be done.

We also had to stay on top of tasks to be completed. There was no Project Management software during our brief time with the company. Mostly everything was done via email. You have to make sure to take notes during your conversation in order to ensure everything you talked about is accomplished.

The point of the conversation was for their team to listen in on what needs to be done and then complete the task. Which we assumed meant they would be taking notes. So, either they were taking notes and not following through on everything or they were trying to remember what needed to be done.

They would be far more effective if they were to utilize a project management software to better keep track of the what can end up being thousands of documents, reviews, changes, and communications in one place for better referencing

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We found their ability to take limited resources and churn out in the first draft conceptual images which really nailed an image and brand we were going for. We were unable to take it any farther to really see what else they could do which is why this is mentioned twice in this review

Are there any areas for improvement?

Yes. The company needs to improve on its ability to manage tasks, assignments and accomplishing what they say they will on time. Missing deadlines is a big area for improvement. Consistently missing deadlines and not communicating prior to missing them was the number reason for our separation.

It is very difficult and costly to call meetings for employees and set aside time when the company would miss the meeting with no prior notice. It may have been okay if we could have the meeting on the go on our phones, but we have to physically be in front of a computer. This means you will lose your own personal time and the cost of an employee or manager if they have to come in for the meeting.

Additionally, deadlines were missed on a regular for ads or graphics with no prior notice. We would have to get a hold of them to see what happen only to discover it would take longer.

Again, this would be fine but when we are on a strict deadline for shopping seasons and such it cost us money every day we are not live with the campaign. Especially when the deadlines exceed weeks past. So definitely there is an area for improvement in communication and meeting deadlines

Our online sells started out strong, but started to stall. We hit a ceiling and could not figure out how to break it. We hired LYFE for social media advertising and management to help expand our growth.

What were your goals for this project?

Our key goal was to find another marketing channel that would generate sales at break even. Our biggest goal was to get more growth and find more customers. We anticipated that a strong marketing agency with experience in this area would be able to help.

How did you select this vendor?

We vetted this agency with the help of Clutch. Being able to read other reviews and their website initiated our interest. We considered majority of the people on the social media marketing list. We found that LYFE's pitch and pricing matched our goals 100%.

Our process started with an initial questionnaire. It was incredibly in-depth and we spent alot of time making sure we provided their team with everything they needed to know. Shortly after, we had an onboarding meeting to discuss goals, expectations, deliverables and timelines. About a 6 days later, we had a kickoff call to review the launch and tie up loose ends. After that, LYFE's team pretty much handled everything and reported to us the results.

We worked with a primary and secondary contact. One was an account manager and the other was an advertising specialist. We primarily talked to our account manager though.

They did exactly what they said they would. After a couple of months of working together, we finally saw our sales increasing. The growth is very exciting. We are looking forward to continuing our upward trend with them and decreasing our costs for acquisition.

I ask a lot of questions. Their team is always very responsive and patient. I've worked with people in the past where it felt like I was always the one initiating conversation and the only one who cared. It always felt like I was on the same wavelength with my account manager. When I was wondering about status or holiday promotions, I would suddenly get an email with some recommendations. Definitely enjoy working with them.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Again, I just love the responsiveness and recommendations. I can tell they really care a lot about our success.

There is always room for improvement, but they leave very little to be desired.

We have a long sales cycle, our goal for our online campaigns are to stay top of mind. We wanted to target a very specific group of executives which we were able to do with their service. Anytime, our target audience was on Facebook, Google or LinkedIn, we wanted to make a positive impression. LYFE Marketing helped us accomplish this and more.

We first heard about this company by word of mouth, but we didn't have a need (or thought we didn't) for their service at that time. While learning more about digital marketing, we decided to give social media a try. We searched and found LYFE Marketing. That's when we knew that this company was skilled at marketing. That is what led us to choose them because their marketing presence was great.

I am pretty hands off when it comes to the management of our accounts. I gauged their marketing tactics based on the results. When we started to close more deals and I heard people telling me how impress they were with our marketing then that justified everything for us. Overall, they create content and publish it. They also optimize campaigns and make sure we are reaching the right people.

We have been a client of LYFE for a long time, at least 4 years. We have worked with alot of their specialist over time. We have one point of contact and know they have several other specialists that help with the management of our marketing.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I had several clients (at the time prospects) who gave us a lot of positive feedback on our marketing along with personal friends. Because our sales cycle is so long (between 6-12 months) this initially feedback meant a lot. Then after a while we saw our business grow YoY which we attributed to the increase in online activity.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I fully trust this team, so we let them handle everything. Occasionally, we need to update billing or give feedback on their ideas. We never have a problem getting in touch with our main point of contact.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their consistency is really impressive. Everything always is on time and on schedule. We never had a problem in the last four years of working with them.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There are times when we spend more than we anticipated in our advertising (usually about $50-100). I think this is more on Google and Facebook's billing structure, but if they could control that better than that would be great.

A sizable increase in the amount of followers and inquiries per month. For the first time, we saw people actually messaging us to learn more about our services (a pleasant suprise for the initial results). I can't recommend this team enough.

The workflow was as to be expected. We had no issues meeting or staying on track.

It's clear that they are passionate about social media marketing. The things they recommended were right on trend.

This a very hands on experience even though I like that I can make suggestion and provide feedback, I think there can be an opportunity to make things more hands off.

Before reaching out to any vendors, we made a list of what we were looking for in a partner. Ironically, LYFE Marketing was the first company we found and they checked all the boxes on our list.

There was an initial strategy session where we discussed goals, timelines, reviews, etc. Then we started to receive content for review. Their review process is very clear and we were able to make any necessary edits. Following the launch, we met weekly to discuss the campaign process and generate new ideas. Everyone was deeply engaged and responsive throughout our campaign.

We worked with an account manager, social media specialist and advertising specialist. I believe they also had a designer who put together images for us as well.

We were able to generate some high quality leads from the exact people we wanted to reach. Their experience with Facebook and LinkedIn advertising is very apparent.

We were able to setup a channel where we could chat and have open discussions, which made communication/workflow very easy to handle.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I'm sure there are plenty of skillful marketers that we could have worked with, however, what was most impressive for us was LYFE Marketing's level of care. They were responsive, understanding, flexible and more. It felt like we were working with colleagues rather than vendors.

Expansion of their services such as a 24/7 monitoring service, but I understand most small businesses don't need this.

We put together a list of potential partners and invited them to our office. We asked several questions and felt that the reprsentative from LYFE Marketing was the most prepared and brought the best solution.

Before our website was big and unorganized. As a manufacturing we have hundreds of products. People who visited the site were a bit confused. Our work started with organizing the site's structure and a more user friendly approach.

We worked primarily with Keran as our account manager and strategist. He was very detailed in his approach and never missed a meeting/deadline.

Upon the launch of our new website, our conversion rate immediately increased. Also, our customers and associates had a lot of positive things to say about our revamp.

I couldn't have asked for a better workflow. They were always willing to meeting whether it was in office or virtually. Thanks to them, we have become more accustomed to doing business online through zoom.

We hired them for lead generation services. Most of our efforts were through local seo and advertising.

Our main goal was to get qualified leads and get more orders while maintaining the brand messaging.

How did you select this vendor?

Local referrals and research. We went through several proposal meetings. LYFE provided a very comprehensive approach which ultimately won us over.

We started with an in-take meeting where we provided them with information, assets and ideas. They spent 5 business days to come back to us with a strategy, content and timeline. Shortly after, we launched our campaigns. After about 3 weeks, we started to get some great leads. They were really helpful with making sure we recieve leads as soon as they came in. 

What was the team composition?

I requested to work with one person which was granted. I've found that working with too many people can cause confusion and different interpretations of what we need to accomplish.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Sure. In the initial weeks, they spent time testing. I was able to see our cost per click significantly decrease from what we were doing before which was an early win for us. By month 2, we started getting great leads and I was able to close our first big deal. Today, we are seeing about 25-30 quality leads per month. 

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I like that we can schedule a call within 24 hours. My account manager gave me their calendar which I have bookmarked. There is a limit on the time you can talk, I believe its lik 2 hrs a month (which does go by quickly), but I found that its more than enough to communicate and let them take control. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Definitely their responsiveness. They go out of their way to make sure things are communicated and keep us in the loop. 

Are there any areas for improvement?

I can't think of any. We are truly satisified.

I hired Lyfe Marketing to handle our social media marketing which I believed to be the best way to receive our target demographic. I did not have the time or experience to manage this myself.

What were your goals for this project?

My goals were to get as many users as possible. I built a social environment where people could easily connect with friends and sell necessity needed for the college life.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I met some people from Lyfe at several local conferences I was attending. After several conversations, I could tell that they were very experienced in the space. When I secured our first round of capital, I looked at a couple companies, but could not shake my desire to work with them.

They were responsible for creating content that could be distributed online (mainly social media). They designed images and video that we thought were great. After crating content they did their job of publishing it and monitoring the response. Their team also help promote everything through Facebook/IG ads which definitely helped with our goal.

What was the team composition?

I worked with several people on their team, but the main point of contact was Sean. He did a great job of informing of strategizing for the project and coordinating everything that needed to be done.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We launched in a beta phase. During this time, our goal was to grow slowly by targeting a few campuses and get 1,000 user within the first 3 month. To our surprised they were able to generate 2241 new users in our first 3 month (exceeding our initial goal). I'm a big fan of this company.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I was able to meet with them whenever I needed to by scheduling a call on their calendly link, so getting a hold of someone was never difficult. We stuck very close to our deadlines and everything was very organized.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

As mentioned above, I was surprise with the initial response. We went from having absolutely no social media presence to getting over 2,000 users on our platform. They know how to advertise and get exposure fast.

Are there any areas for improvement?

My experience has been great. The only thing I could suggest is faster turnaround times. Sometimes it takes like 48 hours for edits to be made.
