I run a nonprofit cultural association. We have 12 art studios, a co-working space, a gallery, a restaurant, and a music venue that holds around 500 people. Our ownership structure comprises all the members who’ve joined our association, which comes up to over 25,000.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Loominate?

We started a project to run some NFT exhibitions and digital art collections.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Loominate collaborates with us on blockchain development. Initially, they put on concept workshops so our partners could meet, discuss their ideas around the projects, and form a joint vision of how we should move forward. From there, we started a gallery series with Loominate. We ran two NFT exhibitions together last year, and we’ll be doing another three this year. Although their work has been mainly Ethereum-based, they’ve started working with a few other blockchains.

We’re in contact with Loominate’s entire team, including the two founders.

How did you come to work with Loominate?

We were introduced to them by a crypto service provider 

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent close to $300,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around October 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Loominate’s concept workshops are really good; they’re a great starting point and an integral part of our projects together. We’ve done these workshops on 4–5 different projects now, and it helps merge that joint vision. 

How did Loominate perform from a project management standpoint?

Our project management collaboration has gone really well, and the team's communication is very strong. We use Notion and Trello to manage tasks, and we communicate through messages, email, Slack, and occasionally Discord.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Loominate’s way of working is really unique — I’d never come across anything like it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t see anything they need to change from my side; they’re doing really well.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Go for Loominate’s concept workshop; you won’t regret it, and it will provide a good starting point for your project.

Design, development and delivery of global training program for multinational companies. I am the Managing partner of Challenge Learning.

For what projects/services did your company hire Loominate, and what were your goals?

We wanted to create state of the Art pedagogical tools which would help managers to a global learning program reflect on "the management skills required to lead teams, manage performance and innovate while working in a remote or hybrid environment". The programs needed to be engaging and expose participants to the challenge of brainstorming and innovating while operating remotely.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had used Loominate to revise and update our website. They are well versed in facilitation skills and mastered solid processes to get groups to brainstorm and reach alignement. We felt their understanding allowed them to create similar processes for our training programs. They used Mural and they designed the steps of 3 activities using elements from Design Thinking (personas, empathy maps etc.)..

We briefed them on the content of the workshop and the models and concepts used. We clarified the needs for 3 pedagogical tools (learning objectives and content). They designed the activities and came back with several prototypes using Mural and MIro. We reviewed the flow of the activities to finally opt for MIRO (due to a client request). They finalized the touch and feel of the boards. We Beta tested them. We piloted them with participants. The project manager was present during the pilots to improve and adjust as needed.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

2 people: A project manager, our main point of contact + A designer . We were present the 3 of us at every review meetings. When necessary I only worked with the designer to improve the touch and feel of the boards.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The programs were very successfull and received a very high Net Promoter Score (NPS). The rolled out took place over 30 countries. Loominated supported the countries translate and adapt the tool to other platforms such as Klaxoon and Miro. We were asked to design activities for other events with the same client.

Project time line was set early on. Weekly meeting on Zoom or google meet. Sharing of document on google doc.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Loominated created the most esthetic MURAL board our client ever saw. It gave them ideas on how to better prepare their brainstorming /idea generation session. the volume of work reached a peak as we had 3 pilots coming up in a very short time frame, but we met the deadlines as expected. Very detailed, very responsive, Loominate went out of their way to satisfy our needs and expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Loominate is good at asking questions about our expectations and getting a good grip on the expected outcome. They have challenged us constructively and I appreciated the time they took to really conceive of the products before moving to production.

I'm a project manager and tech lead at Alsharq Reise and Alsharq Digital, a digital events agency based in Berlin. We focus on events for NGOs, political education and have a specialisation in digital travel.

Loominate was key to develop high quality writing and content for our website. Their consultants took the time to understand our products and us as a company. Without them and their help developing a language guide and website structure, we wouldn't have been able to channel our ideas into the clear, well-structured and SEO-friendly writing our website has now.

Loominate was very responsive and dedicated, and they delivered agreed outcomes. Meetings were prepared and structured.

Loominate created a friendly, motivating and creative atmosphere.

Sometimes the steps toward agreed outcomes could have been more clearly defined and communicated.

We succeeded together on different other products in the past. Loominate was always a good partner and very reliable when it comes to building Brands and Websites.

Building different proposals to chose from. After choosing the style Loominate did the implementation in webflow and we launched the Website together.

The website was great, it attracted a lot of very talented Web3 Developers that we hired.

Everything was delivered within the timeline. The main communcation channel was through slack. We also did some workshops together to work on the product.

They have a sense for building brands that fit the target while at the same time they can also implement it. Its a very good package all over.

We at keyko hadnt really prepared well and the loominate team had to adapt to that. The beauty of this was their responsiveness and their ability to stay patient with us.
