We developed big game project for our client and we needed AR integration there. We had 10 characters in 2D and asked Lookinar for creation 3D models in AR.

We worked together before and were happy for our last cooperation.

We prepared a basic description of our idea, prepared references of our heroes and handed them over to the Lukinar. They developed 3D models of our heroes, created a prototype of the application and coordinated everything with us.

Then they implemented an augmented reality module and published it on marketplaces.

Tanya led the engagement, also there were UI/UX designer Maria, developer Vitaly, CTO Arnold, 3D artists - Natasha and Yarik and QA specialist Marina.

They were really helpful throughout the process and they each played a different role.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback about our AR characters and gamestory. Lookinar provided me with the tools necessary to pitch my business, leading to new customers. It was a phenomenal experience. Due to the AR I received 2 new clients in 2020.

Generally, we had meetings over video conference, and all the team would be online. They’re super responsive and well-organized. Even how they run meetings and feedback sessions is very thoughtful.

We certainly haven’t had any issues here, and it mirrors the experience I’ve had in the past. They offered to come down in-person but we chose to do it over video and it worked fine

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Everything Lookinar does is great. They do a really good job making sure the whole team feels like they’re part of the process. Lookinar creates a personal connection with clients through excellent customer service.

I felt understood and like they were trying to be responsive to what I wanted and needed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing comes to mind.

I’m the director of SparkyWD company. Our main idea is to provide companies with the best educational and training solutions.We develop cloud based cases in construction, medicine and historical fields.

We asked Lookinar to remodel our training program for constructional field. New entrants into the workforce have to go through what we call "the road builder safety training system." We were seeking a more applicable and realistic training tool—so we engaged Lookinar to create a VR training program for our needs.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

He was referred to me by the the company that did our website. They recommended Lookinar as they had been working together and were extremely happy of their cooperation and results they reached.

Lookinar took our existing 15-module training course and converted each into a VR setting. They would physically walk through different construction sites to capture the specific environments so that they could recreate the scene in VR.

They also created video tools for flagger training (the people on construction sites who use flags to direct drivers). They’ve developed a few videos to enhance the learning experience—it’s very different from just listening to someone with a PowerPoint, in a classroom.

They’ve consequently integrated several plug-ins, so we now have functions like online course registration, online payments, and even e-commerce. At the moment, they’re working on a learning management system that enables our clients to easily access online learning aids.

It was Tanya as Project Manager, Masha as UI/UX designer, two developers(I don’t remember their names), 3D artists - Natasha and Yarik and QA specialist Marina.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The welding simulator has proven to be a huge draw at career fairs and off campus events, allowing students the opportunity to explore this career in a safe and impactful way. This is contributing to more interest in skilled trade careers and a more economical means of career exploration for the college.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They use a project manager and we do the same in our company. The project managers are constantly in contact with one another either by phone or by Skype. Whenever there’s a problem, they answer very quickly. They’re very professional in the way they do work. I deal mainly with Tatiana (PM) if I have an issue of some sort.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are extremely easy and fun to work with, and provided exceptional service and customer support at every turn. They were very attentive to our needs and goals for this project and stayed within the confines of a very tight budget. Furthermore, they're passionate about what they do and that translated to a finished product that exceeded our expectations and is vitally important to our department.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't have much to offer in terms of improvements, other than on one occasion the simulator was glitchy. They were very quick to offer solutions, and even went so far as to offer personalized support at the event. Thank you!

We received the request from one of the market leader to create new mobile application with many characters and big game in Augmented Reality. And we asked Lookinar to help us with it.

What were your goals for this project?

Create award-winning mobile application that will win the customer's hearts.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

One of the team member worked with them before on creating 3D character in Augmented Reality and was sure that they can help us. He was right.

They were in charge of all the steps of the project. Technical task - they created document where secribed the steps of the work, the technologies they used and solutions how to make it better. UI/UX - they spent 3 weeks to create the concept of what we wanted. Game design document - we had the game so they created that document, made the research of the marker and showed the best option for game style. Program part - developers created the code. Augmented Reality module - they compared different options and decided to use ARKit - ARCore 3D modeling - we have created twenty 3D characters in the game. 3D animation - they did animations for all the characters. Publishing - they published everything on the marketplaces under our name Technical support - during 2 months after launch they did support for our customers.

We had the dedicated team from Lookinar. We contacted PM, 3 developers, three 3D artists, designer, QA and 3D illustrator.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Success has been the usability of the app and its effectiveness. There have also been third-party integrations they’ve done very well with, integrating a payment gateway, for example.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We met with Lookinar over Skype weekly. Before we tested each sprint, we’d have special discussions with them. To record our decisions and share our specifications, we used Confluence.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The quality of the individuals that we worked with from Lookinar stood out. We worked with some superb people who always did what they said they would do. We obviously still had to test things and reconfigure our requirements if Lookinar didn’t do what we expected. But we had a great relationship with them. Any issues that came on their end were understandable. Lookinar was also very accepting of our changing requirements.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I don’t have anything off the top of my head. We’ve been very happy throughout the years.

We are an outsourcing company providing a wide variety of services starting from website creation all the way up to machine learning. I'm the CEO and I was responsible for coordination with LookinAr as our contactors.

We had to create MVP for our main client with use of Web 3D model. We asked Lookinar to create 3D model, develop materials and textures, combine everything together.

They were recommended by friend of us that had experience of working with them.

Content - they have created photorealistic 3D model of shoes and created textures for it. They adjust light and materials. Lookinar has also developed the system of texture and color choosing Combined everything together

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Right now it’s too early to say something about the final impact but the work we received from Lookinar looks incredibly beautiful.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

A handful of staff is embedded in employee-based teams and I’m in touch with them all of the time. We’re using the Atlassian stack, so Confluence and JIRA primarily.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They delivered on time without any excuses.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, it really comes down to communication and I don’t feel like there’s a gap.

I’m a co-founder at FUTU Life. Our aim is to design and build a real “city of the future” in Ukraine. Not only will it contain futuristic architecture, but it will also be a cohesive integrated project. It’ll contain a new worldview of inhabitants, including the spirit of humanity, self-discovery, self-improvement, trust, creativity, and self-fulfillment. The world will have a new organizational structure, including direct democracy, self-organization, blockchain, smart contracts, and crowdfunding. The economic structure will consist of local demurrage, cryptocurrency, a universal basic income, crowd-investing, and sharing.

We had problems with marketing, and so we decided to create a WebAR solution without an app to increase our representation on the market.

What were your goals for this project?

We asked LookInAr to develop a simple AR case to show our potential customers what our city could be. We decided to create an MVP to show our clients the AR solution.

I saw some cases from LookInAr in Ukraine, and I was surprised by the quality of their work. That’s why I decided to ask them for help with the project.

They created 3D models of innovative architecture and city planning using innovative AR transport solutions. We prepared a special marker that would trigger a 3D model to appear in AR. The models showed our plans and solutions for different city issues.

We worked with a project manager, 3D artist, a visual effects (VFX) artist, and the chief technical officer.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The result was absolutely incredible. Our clients smiled like children. Right now, we are on the stage of signing up two contracts with investors.

LookInAr was reactive when needed, and they were proactive when they saw a way to improve our product. The team met all of our deadlines, and they ensured that we were getting their best work. Communication was excellent.

We had the issue when our potential and current clients didn’t understand what to do with our product. We asked LookInAr to develop something simple and useful for our end users. The main requirement was not to develop a separate application for download.

We wanted the set of instructions to be accessible and easily implemented.

One of the LookInAr team members is a good friend of our CEO. The team was local and had the WebAR expertise we needed. They convinced us by showing work from past customers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

They completely reached their goals in terms of quality. We’re definitely happy with the software integrations. They achieved everything we requested.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We used Slack to communicate, which worked very well. I would also go to their office at times to meet with them. It was easy for me to reach any member of the team. They provided us with their best resources depending on our needs. For example, for the memory issues, I spent two days working with their team member who had the expertise to resolve the problem.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I like the fact that they let me learn with them. They weren’t trying to hide anything from me. They tried to transmit all their knowledge to me so that I could work on my side without them.

No, I'm totally satisfied working with these guys.
