We hired LogicalTrust.net to do a penetration test on our application as part of our ISO 27001 certification process.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We got LogicalTrust.net recommended by a trusted contractor, and eventually decided for them because of that, and their price offering. We are now working together for the third year in a row.

We contacted LogicalTrust.net to receive advice on what should be tested, and how the test should be set up. Once agreed on a format, we received a list of information to provide and agreed on a testing time. We then received a report with recommendations.

We worked directly with 2 automation testers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Automated testing saves us a lot of time. Yet, the coming years, we would like to go for a hybrid solution to strengthen results even further.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very efficient throughout the test. We communicated mostly via email.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Great knowledge, great reporting with very good guidance on improvements.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing we could wish to have improved from our end.

We wanted to prevent our newly build high user volume SaaS platform from cyber attacks and other secure other legal required aspects (GDPR etc.)

What was the team composition?

We really don't know :) They provided us high quality service in the hood, so we didn't work directly with people from their team, only PM / coordinator was known. It was completely sufficient for this purpose.

Scope of information provided. We discovered thanks to LogicalTrust.net many additional drawbacks outside from the cybersecurity scope - i.e. scalability, performance.
