Deputy Marketing Director. Cofina Media is a media, advertising and event solutions company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Cápsula, and what were your goals?

We organized the Record Challenge event and used the services for Cápsula to design and UX/UI the website as well as the digital campaign to promote the event, both in terms of creativity and planning, implementation and media management. The objective was to promote the event in order to increase its notoriety and get 5,000 visitors.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Cápsula was chosen for its professionalism, creativity, proximity and quick response.

In the first place, the work consisted in the development of a website that simply communicated the various and complex characteristics of the event, which allowed people to pre-register on the website, as well as the registration and login of all visitors to the event and activities of the same.

Subsequently, Cápsula worked on the creative development of the digital advertising campaign, as well as on the planning and management (purchase, implementation and optimization) of the different media, such as social networks, gdn, digital activation, Cofina Network and email marketing.

On the Capsule side, 7 human resources worked very closely with Cofina, such as the UX/UI Director, the Creative Director, 2 designers and 2 programmers, 1 marketeer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The event had a number of participants that exceeded expectations, with around 8,000 people, of which 2,000 pre-registered.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

There were always open communication channels between the teams, with fortnightly zoom and face-to-face meetings and also with constant exchange of information not only by email, but also by whatsapp whenever time required.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impresses me the most about this company is their availability, creativity, and responsiveness.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Cápsula can do better in something that it has already been doing, which is the analysis of campaigns

We had a need to develop a platform that enabled our entrepreneurs to showcase their startups and products to collect feedback from beta testers.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had to follow public procurement procedures and Capsula was the winner of the procurement process because of the agility, the solution definition process (research and prototyping) with a strong commitment with the delivery dates.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was live right on the defined date (which was critical for us) The deliverables matched the requisites and research findings. Overall satisfaction was positive and capsula was demonstrated willingness and openness to follow up and tweak any detail.

The PM style felt structured enough so that we could have immediate visibility on the project progress. Also, the meetings were pretty good. Can’t recall precisely which tools were used then but I recall having visibility on the progress of the project, timeline, how to deliver feedback

Their agility and flexibility was something I recall impressive since our timeframe was in fact very demanding.

I am the CEO of e-Schooling a leading software for managing educational institutions, with more than 1500 schools in 5 different countries

For what projects/services did your company hire Cápsula?

The first version of e-Schooling conquered the market of private education institutions in Portugal, and with the international expansion we decided to hire Cápsula to focus on a new UI/UX experience and completely rethink the product.

How did you select this vendor?

We had already had some iterations with Capsula and we were always very satisfied with the creativity to solve complex problems in terms of design and UX, and as such we decided to offer them this challenge of completely rethinking e-Schooling.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The challenge was to completely rethink e-Schooling, a school management software that is used daily by millions of users, namely teachers, students, parents and employees of the schools themselves. Given the scope of the product that manages all the information in the administrative, pedagogical and financial areas, the challenge was enormous for a new application that, in addition to the previous functionalities, would provide new areas, more developed and easier to use.

In all, 5 resources were involved in the project, including creatives, UI/UX specialists and project managers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Capsula isolated the various application areas and after discussing the concepts in specific meetings, it developed solutions and presented results, which allowed the development of the product in stages. We put the product in early adopters and after validation, changes were introduced always with a focus on the end user.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Capsula presented us with a method that allowed us to achieve results very quickly. These were based on meetings focused on well-defined milestones.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The creativity of the Capsula team, and the search for very creative solutions in terms of design, UI/UX and interaction with e-Schooling users

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They gave us a lot of support throughout the development of our project, which was essential for our growth as a company. We are very satisfied!
