Our goal was to create a design tool to add personalization to our products that had design features matching our production and design capabilities. The design software was then integrated with a customized shopping cart solution. After deploying the design solution and site, we required on going support and development of new features to improve designing and order processing management.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They have a very robust development tracking tool that you can easily see each task, it's progress, and responsible team members. Team members could easily post updates and we'd get emails notifying us at every step of progress on the project. This has been by far the easiest experience I've had managing a team of developers. Projects are broken up into tasks and milestones that are grouped together into defined sprints of effort that span a specific timeline. Each tasks is connected to parent tasks under a given sprint and you can see the progress in hours and % of the total estimated for the entire sprint as well as each individual task.

Volod and his team are very responsive. The project management platform is easy to use and keeps things organized. The team delivers items in a timely fashion, and is always quick to respond. I can't stress enough how well the project management platform made it simple to deal with a complex development project. On the occasions that we corresponded outside platform, Volod and his team always got back to me quickly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

There are so many things that they do well. Beyond their good communication and technical knowledge, they have really grown to understand our business. LiveArt offers outstanding feedback and recommendations during development. They are always looking out for us and trying to come up with the most efficient ways to get something developed that meets our business requirements. These are not only a group of exceptionally talented developers and programers, but very thoughtful ones as well.

We did Hire LiveArt because one of our biggest client needs a Software that their customers can Design their own product Online and submit it to print at their shop. Live Art was the Best option that i could find and the result was really awesome. Our goals was to use the same Template that the company use for printing (shirts, mugs, caps and more) for the website. This software gives me the option to create my own product in vector(i did set-up it in illustrator with a guide manual of live art), my client couldn't be more happy with the results. this brought allot of customers and experiences to my client. for a Printing Company, this is the BEST!

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

together with my client we was looking for a online software that we can use on the website of my client. We was looking for once that we can use our own "template" and parts, iat the most economic price. My client was the one that was looking for the software, afterall he gives me some opption to make an final decision. We decide Live Art because in printing the best file is "vector". and this software gives the Customer and my client the option to create and export this in vector and also in the same tempalte that my client use at their shop.

they designed and developed the Program. at the beginning my client alrady knows that it needs some change to make it more compatible with the system of their shop, so we purchased the license and also a customization. i can say they ar a really trustworthy company because they have the Credentials of my Server and also one more Service. with allot of patience and allot of mails they made the customization and finished it, with the help of their guidance i could create more products and templates. i can say this company have allot of experience with customers, because the patience of this guys was really to appreciate.

only one, he is the CEO of the Printing Company that hire my company to build and manage their website.

less thgen 6 months my Client was the nr #1 printing company in Sports Uniform at Curacao. The software gained the trust of the customers of my client. it shows the customers that the print shop knows what theya are doing and it is locally! Some people did'nt submit their designs, but when they see this software and start playing in the sirt, it gives them a confidence tow ork with my client.

the communication was good, they have allot of patience. the deathline was also good, because at the most of the times i was the reason of many delays. all our mails is answered in less then 48 hours.

I'm impressed that they had solutions for everything. we experienced with some vendors vor other programs, that there is some limit, but with this vendor, everything is possible with customization.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

i don't think so. i think everything is on place, maybe they can design and develop more software online.

We are a commercial print company that specialises in fine art printing. Founded in 1983, we have acquired the necessary skills required for digital printing and invested heavily in large format printers. I am the technical director with responsibility for web development.

Our first attempts at online print ordering were very rudimentary and created a lot of problems with customers frustrated when placing an order. This resulted in time consuming emails and phone calls before print orders could be completed.

What were your goals for this project?

The solution had to offer a simplified and smoother online order process that did not require us to intervene and would result in truly ready to print orders.

How did you select this vendor?

We reviewed many companies offering web to print solutions, but most were considered to be too basic or utilised an interface that was not user friendly or failed at different screen resolutions. LiveArt stood out as the only company whose solution worked at every level.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They provided an initial basic print ordering system that was continuously developed and improved upon as our workload began to increase. After a year it was evident our systems needed to be scaled up to cope with demand and this was fully taken care of with improvements made during each sprint. We were always grateful for the fast response and suggestions from their developers that enabled us to grow so quickly.

What was the team composition?

There was a team of three working on our project, but with a permanent project manager who was always our first point of contact. Certain specialist individuals were invited to provide additional services such as web design.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This ongoing project has enabled us to expand our online business and given us a distinct edge over our competitors. The customer reviews we receive all praise our print order system for its ease of use and has enhanced our reputation. Not least it has allowed us to easily manage a much larger workload.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was managed through an extranet with tasks clearly assigned and marked in progress or completed. There were delays on some technically difficult issues that required research and testing before implementation.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their range of skills, access to individual developers, and technical advice enable us to expand in a secure way. More than anything else is the proactive way they monitor our systems and respond to problems before they impact our business.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is little that requires improvement. What is important, from our point of view, is being very clear when describing problems or requesting updates to ensure there are no misunderstandings, I have found screen grabs and visual mock ups a much clearer way to demonstrate a proposal for review.

What challenge were you trying to address with LiveArt?

Because our customers design their own stuff through the web, we needed a design tool for them to use. They built an online design tool that our customers can use on any browser.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They already had a tool that they built. They customized it heavily to meet our needs. I threw out lots of challenges to improve the product, and they met them all. I know they used JavaScript for some of it and other languages too.

One request was to included pic counts. The more pics we need to remove, the more we have to charge our customers. They created a tool to count them so that we could accurately charge our customers.

I work with 5–6 people on average.

I found them through Google.

We began work in April 2014, and the relationship is ongoing.

Without them, we would not have a business. We rely on them heavily for the design tool, it’s the only way customers can use our site.

We communicate back and forth easily over the internet. They’ve been very helpful. They also keep things simple for me as I don’t understand all the technical jargon, making my life easy.

They’re incredibly flexible. Most software companies are quick to tell you that something is impossible. Every idea I have, LiveArt comes up with a solution. Their knowledge base is unparalleled.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Project scope plagues us all, and it’s my fault. I would love if they could help me better manage my projects. Some of their software for communication isn’t the most user-friendly as well.

Trust them. Don’t be afraid to ask what you want, and they’ll come up with a solution.

• For us, the most important thing is that the builder works and is easy to use for our customers. We have generated sales via this builder 10 times over what we have spent. To me that is the most important measure of success.
