I’m am the CEO and Co-Founder of Atlantic Coast Entrepreneurs Inc. We are a group of passionate entrepreneurs solving industry-wide problems through innovation; our first project is WAVE, a network that connects all aspects of nightlife.

For what projects/services did your company hire Linker Logic Technologies?

Our company came to Linker Logic with an idea for an app, seeking help in the next steps. They consulted with us, helped with the ideation process to fully develop the idea, and built our prototype for us; they will be developing the full application in the near future. We also had them complete our investor pitch deck and did consulting with them to help get prepared for investors.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to have our idea fully developed past simply a concept, and we were looking to have a prototype developed.

How did you select this vendor?

I met Ritwik Pavan, the CEO, and heard a lot about his company and their accolades. After talking through our idea with him and seeing what they were capable of creating, we knew Linker Logic was a perfect fit for us.

Describe the project in detail.

For about 5 weeks, we met with them for consulting and ideation, where we took the basic idea and expanded on it. We discussed which features would work best, which needed to be omitted, and came up with a lot of new ones along the way.

In between our weekly meetings, their team created mockups, built out the UI/UX designs, and came up with new ideas to share with us. At the end of the process, we had a fully functioning prototype, and we proceeded to have our pitch deck done. We are now going back to them for iOS and Android development.

What was the team composition?

We worked directly with Casey Reimann, the Head of Content Strategy who specializes in UI/UX Design and Mobile Strategy consulting. Most of our time was spent with him, along with some meetings with Ritwik Pavan; they worked with their other team members in between our meetings.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Today, we have a fully functioning prototype and all of our investor materials prepared, and we are looking to raise capital for development. We have been able to complete video walkthroughs and live demonstrations for both consumers and investors using the prototype; the feedback we have gotten has been phenomenal, and we believe the prototype will help immensely in securing our first investment.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Everyone in their team is very easy to work with and accessible. Any time I needed anything, a simple email or phone call was all I had to do to reach them. They reached out to me frequently as well to keep me aware of everything that was done, and both of our teams were integrated into a Slack workspace for further simplification of communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I am highly impressed both by the quality of the prototype and the service that we received. My understanding of the software development process with most companies was the customer brings the company all the information they have on the idea, the company develops it, and they hand them a finished product.

This was not at all the case with Linker Logic; I was a part of every decision and every detail put into the prototype. We discussed every feature and every design together as we developed it, and I’m far more than satisfied with the outcome. We walked out with an app that's levels beyond my original idea and design.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I honestly don’t think I would change anything about their process; everything was completely transparent from the start, I knew exactly what I was going to be getting, and what I received far exceeded my expectations. I wish I had constructive criticism.

Founded a veteran health and wellness company named simplithrive. Simplithrive is the gamification of holistic health that incentivizes proactive behavior by creating a community and offering discounts on desired products.

For what projects/services did your company hire Linker Logic Technologies?

Simplithrive hired Linker Logic to first create a clickable prototype. The designer was assigned to the project and through conversations on a weekly basis over the course of a few months, was able to create a beautiful prototype. I was able to use this prototype to more effectively communicate to investors what I was attempting to accomplish.

What were your goals for this project?

Through this project, I wanted to first create a fully designed prototype. This goal was accomplished and the outcome far exceeded my expectations. The second goal I wanted to accomplish was to break down the product into separate pieces and understand which was necessary to develop first to test the product market fit, and which was better left to a later stage. Although this process is anything but predictable and straightforward, the Linker Logic team offered their patient advice and encouragement throughout the whole process. It was clear that they desired real sustainable success for this project as much as I did.

How did you select this vendor?

I was able to schedule a meeting with Ritwik and after sitting down and seeing some of the other projects that his team had previously completed, I decided I would be able to create a great prototype. I was also able to tell early on that the mission of Linker Logic is not to just help to create apps but to engage in a long term relationship and dialogue which ultimately leads to real success.

Describe the project in detail.

When I approached the Linker Logic team, I had a clear but broad idea of the pieces that I wanted to bring together within an app to achieve my goal. Though my dialogue with the team designer, I was able to figure out what was the best solution down to the granular detail. Whether it was a question of UX, cost, feasibility, or common sense, the dialogue with the designer allowed me to arrive at a confident solution. Also, when the prototype phase of the project was approaching completion, the designer created a beautiful branding guide. More so, he understand my vision to such an extent that he did not even need extensive consultation with me to create the branding successfully. The price estimate for the app was broken down into the different elements as well as the different costs for the development of native, hybrid and flutter development. This has allowed for an honest dialogue about what features it makes sense to build now versus later in the process. Throughout this complex dialogue, I have found the team maintaining the best interests of my business above all.

What was the team composition?

The design process consisted of my weekly consultation with one designer. As we moved into the development phase, the designer continued to communicate with me but acted as a translator between myself and the team of 6 or so developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The biggest outcome that demonstrates success is the commitment from investors and advisors alike.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between me and the team at Linker Logic was seamless and easy. They were quickly responsive to any question or request I had and I always felt that I understood exactly where we stood in the process and what were the next steps. I've also felt very comfortable about giving my honest assessment of the project throughout the process. Additionally, the team has been honest with me about their opinion about decisions along the way which has allowed me to truly consider multiple perspectives.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Linker Logic is truly made up of top of the line professionals at what they do. They understand the value of building a trusting relationship with their customers. What I think it most impressive about Linker Logic though is their intimate understanding of the challenges that come with starting a business. They understand that the true key to long term success for a start-up is the ability to be flexible. I cannot overstate how much value this has brought to me during this process.

I do not believe that I would have had a more positive experience anywhere else.

The prototype has been a valuable resources as I navigate venture capital. It has been used in our marketing materials, along with fundraising.

I loved the transparency of the process. They included me on each decision they made for the app and highlighted areas of improvement for my original concept based on their expertise.

We needed to create a whole Telehealth platform from scratch that was different than any other platform out there. From the video capabilities to the simple calendar integration, Linker Logic did it all.

We found Linker Logic through referrals and knew they were the best when we got one of the best price points and care from them.

They designed, developed and engineered a mobile, tablet, and computer system/software for us to work off of. It was incredible to see.

We are still in the process of development but the project has been moving along great and with great speed on time for our launch.

The project was only an idea at the beginning and the Linker Logic team took that idea and turned it into a reality. They built out a very clean, easy to use interphase for Profile users.

What was the team composition?

There were 2-4 people from LinkerLogic I primarily had contact. They were always available when I needed them.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were able to make an end to end user interphase within a couple months that can now be used to present to potential investors.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between teams was extremely effective. The response time was immediate and I never had to wait to hear back.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

How flexible they were with ideas as they came up. There were tweaks we made along the way and it never seemed to cause major issues.
