I’m the founder and president of Broadway Plus. We have a booking platform that Broadway actors and stars use to sell their time doing meet and greets, lessons, and coaching. We also do a lot of corporate event planning, group event planning, and custom VIP experiences for Broadway.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lilo Social?

At first, I hired them to build my website, and that was two years ago. Since then, they’ve continued to do a huge amount of web development work.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built a WordPress and WooCommerce site that I use to sell VIP packages for Broadway shows. I’ve completely pivoted and changed my business when the pandemic struck, and they helped me recreate a new e-commerce and booking platform. I’ve also engaged them for digital performance marketing. They handle Facebook, Instagram, and Google marketing, including Google retargeting. Finally, they also do email marketing. This second development was much larger than the first, and it was also on WordPress.

We work with about 350 actors. They plug their calendar availability into the site and customers make bookings with artists. The platform automatically sends out Zoom links and emails, as well as payment information. In terms of marketing, they do paid advertising creative and marketing.

I’ve worked with 6-7 people including an account manager, a web developer, a copywriter, a video editor, and a Google Ads manager.

How did you come to work with Lilo Social?

I met Bobby (CEO) at a Bloomberg entrepreneurship program.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since June 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They do reporting on all the statistics, but, overall, we’ve been very pleased. I wouldn’t have been able to launch a successful e-commerce platform without them.

How did Lilo Social perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done great. Our project manager is a great partner. Sometimes, things will take a little longer than he anticipates but that comes with the territory. In general, everything is on time and professional.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very data-driven. I’ve been pleased with the creative they’ve generated, as well as how they’ve analyzed the extent to which the creative is effective. In terms of web development, they’ve been innovative, solving lots of problems and helping me automate a lot of my business.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Overall, I’ve been more impressed with their performance marketing work than their web development work. They sometimes underestimate how long these development projects will take to come to fruition.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s important to trust Lilo and treat them as partners. Give them access to do a deep dive into what is and isn’t working in your business.

We needed services for production, web development, and design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lilo Social produced and developed multiple sponsor activations for an event. 

They produced a dynamic word cloud web page where users could enter a word, and the page would aggregate it into a word cloud based on how many times it was entered. They also created a digital nomination wall with dynamic text for an event, and they produced another standalone content page for one of our sponsors. 

These were three separate projects all under one scope for this event. They were custom web development projects, so they weren't really developed on a platform.

What is the team composition?

I worked with two people from Lilo Social. One of them was a project manager, and the other was the CEO. I interfaced mainly with the CEO.

How did you come to work with Lilo Social?

I was referred to them by a former colleague. I chose them over other partners because they were very much eager to take on the work. They were flexible on pricing and very fast to respond.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from October–December 2020.

Everything that they produced was very well-received and performed very well with the attendees of our virtual event.

No, there aren’t. Lilo Social is very collaborative and great to work with, and I'll absolutely work with them again. They were great.

I’m a senior marketing manager at Cambridge Savings Bank. We’re a five-billion-dollar mutual bank with 17 branch locations. We focus on retail, small business, and commercial banking. I’m part of the marketing department with seven people.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lilo Social?

We initially had a partner we were working with on video content. He referred us to Lilo Social for social media management, digital advertising, and Google search campaigns.

We decided to give them a try on a campaign by campaign basis. We were very satisfied with their knowledge and the collaboration, so we transferred our business from an existing digital partner fully over to Lilo Social to manage.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lilo Social began managing all of our digital strategies through Google Ads, paid search, SEO, and paid social strategy. We’ve worked with them on landing pages and email campaigns as well.

This past year, we’ve contracted them for a larger initiative for our bank’s sub-brand through campaign management, digital strategy, and web development. They’re currently designing the new platform and assisting with analytics. A couple of years ago, their team also did all of our executive team’s headshots.

We have a close relationship with Zac (Chief Creative Officer) and Bobby (CEO). We work closely with Bobby on digital strategy and implementation. We then work with Zac from a creative standpoint. We work with Ashely (Social Strategist) on copywriting, and we also communicate with someone on the web development side.

It was through that referral.

We’ve spent over $250,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with them since April 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

After three or four projects together, we transferred all of our business to Lilo Social. We’ve only increased our work with them over the past two years.

For each campaign, we track analytics and reporting. What I can say is that we’ve seen an uptick in all of our activity across the business lines that they’ve helped support. One of our more recent campaigns was a small business initiative, and I think we increased our sales by over 50% over the last year. It was a digitally-focused campaign, so I would say a lot of that success involved Lilo Social.

How did Lilo Social perform from a project management standpoint?

From a project management standpoint, they’re very organized. They’ve been great with follow-up and follow-through. Recently, there have been a few hiccups with one of our projects because there are a lot of moving parts and they’re a small team.

There have been a few instances where schedules have had to be pushed back due to us needing more resources. Overall, we’ve been extremely happy working with them for the past few years. They’ve become an extension of our team, which is what we need as a smaller organization. I feel like we are their only client because of the undivided attention they give us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Bobby is one of the smartest people I’ve worked with from a strategic standpoint. He’s very knowledgeable and extremely impressive. Not only has he presented to our board of directors, but he’s very well-versed in his thought process. The best part of working with them is that they’re constantly monitoring our performance and looking for ways to optimize, which is important in a fast-paced digital world.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Lilo Social has a strong digital strategy team, but there are areas that we don’t find them to be as strong is – like content development. I found that they’re much stronger in the strategy space. They could hire stronger creative team members, but there have been times where we’ve had to go back to the drawing board in that area.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

To get the most out of the Lilo Social team, utilize them for strategic, digital campaigns. They’re experts in their space, and that’s where their strength is.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The first time we worked together, they built an interactive digital experience to supplement an active social media campaign we were running. The platform that they built allowed people to vote for a campaign. It included lots of video footage to increase engagement. 

We also worked with them to develop a lens for Snapchat. Most recently, we developed mobile video games tied back to our hockey products.

I worked directly with two people: Bobby (CEO) and Zac (CCO). However, there were several people working behind the scenes including a designer, developer, and strategist.

We started working together in November 2018. We don’t have any campaigns with them right now, but we’re always looking for ways to include them in the future.

We tracked our engagement metrics and data capture. We saw that users were really engaged with the experiences they created in comparison to traditional marketing campaign methods like videos. One of our recent campaigns with them is up for an award for Ad of the Year.

They overdeliver. Their team is passionate, and we also had strong communication. It was easy to collaborate with them and request changes as needed. They were very open and honest. We never had issues with meeting deadlines. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re doing things that nobody else can do. Lilo Social offers unique solutions. They’re willing to think outside of the box. The ideas they come up with are innovative – they’re not cookie cutter.

It’s hard to say because they’ve always exceeded our standards.

Be open-minded and work together to brainstorm ideas. Get their team thinking about how to bring your campaign to life and drive success. They always come up with ideas that we hadn’t thought of before.

We started working with Lilo Social in February 2025. We added them for paid media in September 2025. Our engagement is ongoing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lilo Social manages our paid media, email, and SMS marketing and strategy to help us hit our KPIs and scale. The team also brings resources and tools to improve our business and optimize our processes. For example, Lilo Social has introduced us to Klaviyo Marketing Analytics and helped us migrate to a unified Klaviyo email and SMS stack. The team has also helped us build a homegrown loyalty program.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We saw viral success in Q1 2025 with our TikTok eyeshadow campaigns and have successfully launched a loyalty program with Lilo Social's help. We saw high efficiency during that time with CACs under $9 and were able to lean in more to drive new customer growth and revenue. It's still early for the loyalty program, but we're happy to see high engagement and shifts from tier to tier, ultimately helping us increase LTV in the long term.

Jaclyn is great! She's incredibly good with quick follow-through, assessments, and timely project details.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Working with Lilo Social, we get access to a solid team of creatives, ad managers, strategists, and specialists across the full funnel. It's nice to have them as an extension of our team. The team is fast and quick to reply and comes with great suggestions for strategy and execution.

Given how quickly things change in the paid ad space, we'd love Lilo Social's proactive involvement in daily recommendations vs. weekly & monthly check-ins.
