You can tell that they really care about the end product and want you to walk away with the best possible version of your project. On top of that, they are very adaptable and easy-going when presented with challenges. They're really great at thinking on the fly and solving problems quickly. Truly can't recommend them highly enough!

Was really blown away by how adaptable and easy-going they were. They were able to come up with viable solutions on the fly to any challenge/limitation that popped up on the day of filming while still delivering high-quality work.

We were getting ready for a press release for the public launch of app, when our press agency required us to submit a marketing video of our app within a week. My co-founder and I had no experience with creating a high quality marketing video.

We reached out to various friends and social groups on recommendations of video production companies and a friend in a Slack group had mentioned Level 2 Productions. After talking to quite a few vendors, Level 2 Productions was the only one that seemed capable of creating a high quality video with phone animations within the short timeframe we had.

They made sure to walk us through all the steps in the video editing process and listed out exactly what they required from us to help speed up the process. They provided a seamless process for us to incorporate feedback throughout the editing of the video and were incredibly fast in getting revisions done.

What was the team composition?

We worked primarily with Nick who handled all our editing requests and created/edited the marketing video himself! He's extremely efficient and goes above and beyond in his work. We're very excited to work with him again in the future.

Our press agency was extremely impressed with the marketing video that was produced within a week and we've already received several inquires from press outlets in response to sharing our video!

We had daily emails with their team and Nick would also message me directly if there was anything he needed a quicker response on. It was a very seamless workflow.

Their work quality and speed were incredible! They did an absolutely amazing job in such a short turnaround and provided great communication throughout the process.

Nothing at all! They did a terrific job and we will definitely be going to them for more of our marketing production needs.

I hired Level 2 Productions to help me get started on making YouTube instructional videos for my company to improve my social media traction. I also hired them as consultants to educate me on the newest trend of "livestreaming" to my clients and students. Since the pandemic has forced the entire Fitness industry to pivot, I needed some professional help.

What were your goals for this project?

My goal was to become educated on modern ways to reach my audience, since the pandemic has forced the entire Fitness industry to move mostly online. I wanted to understand how to make better instructional videos, livestream fitness classes, and hire somebody to edit my digital video products that I have for sale.

I was referred to Level 2 Productions by a colleague that has worked in corporate fitness for over a decade. She showed me several of the videos they produced for her as well as explaining how they setup her livestreaming equipment.

Since one of the Level 2 owners is a martial arts instructor, he was able to see easily what I wanted to convey visually through my videos and social media presence. He understood lots of the underlying psychology of visually pleasing movement, and also explaining instructions clearly. It made it really easy to explain my vision and projects to both of them.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Level 2 and I communicated mostly via email for any drafts of edited videos, and text/phone call to discuss any nuances that were tricky to type via email. They were easy to reach and quick to respond to any editing suggestions I made.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

My clients immediately commented on the quality of my digital products and how helpful they were in executing their exercise routines. My social media metrics have improved, likely because of the visual storytelling element they have helped me with. And people contacting me to hire me is always the metric of success for a fitness trainer!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Level 2 makes it very seamless when they come to my workspaces. I have several gym spaces that I work out of, and they are more than accommodating when I tell them there will be distracting noises, poor lighting potentially, and people walking around. They manage to adapt to the most interesting conditions so I think they worked very well with us.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive part of working with Level 2 is Nick and Jared's demeanor. They both make it relaxing to work in front of a camera and are extremely patient with my incessant technical questions about how everything is going to work. They were quick on the editing turnaround and have helped us to understand the complexities of video production.

Once I called them, they quickly scheduled a shoot date. When there, they were following Covid protocol and move swiftly. When I asked them to make it look nice, they told me that the property can be virtually staged as well.

I didn’t even know that was an option! So we got great footage of the vacant home, and I also got virtually staged photos.

They had two videographers on-location. Editing only took a couple days.

The home was sold fairly quickly! I love that I now have them as a reliable resource for videos and photos to help me sell.
