While we established milestones well in advance, we encountered some unexpected bugs that necessitated slight adjustments to our final delivery dates. Despite these challenges, the team was proactive in addressing the issues and optimizing solutions in subsequent sprints. 

Throughout the project, we utilized a suite of communication tools, including Slack, Email, Jira, and Figma, complemented by consistent online meetings via Google Meet. This suite of tools facilitated clear and effective communication, which was key to our project's progression.

We were particularly impressed with the professionalism and communication prowess of the Product Owner. The UX designer demonstrated outstanding design and analytical abilities, while the QA team's dedication ensured quality control. Furthermore, the developers' expertise in Flutter was evident and greatly appreciated. • Subscriptions: Regardless of payment source, users can access their accounts on different devices (with different operating systems). Pricing can be managed without app releases, allowing for differentiation prices among users/user groups. Prices for given users may be changed manually or by providing promotion codes to users. 
• Virtual bookmarks: In this case, we used Firestore to enable the storage of information. Users can mark their favorite chapters or see the last played part of the audiobook. The virtual bookmark will remember when a given chapter was paused in the listening session, and the user can continue from that moment the next time it is played back. 
• Multi-language content: The user can choose which language version they prefer (Polish, English, Spanish). The challenge was that from the backend server side, the content was structured uniformly regardless of the language version but depending on the user’s language preferences, we had to present the content differently.

We hired LeanCode to create the entire platform from scratch. They provided us with all the technical knowledge we needed, including integration research and IT solution consulting. We were able to translate our business goals into technical architecture. We entrusted LeanCode with full responsibility for organizing the developers' work and managing work stages, which we were fully satisfied with.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with LeanCode in previous projects and knew their technical skills. We knew they had extensive knowledge not only of product development but also of available technology solutions.

We created two Flutter mobile applications - one for the Players and one for Referees on both iOS and Android platforms. We also made two web applications: one for the manager to create and manage Leagues and Tournaments and the other one for Players and Fans to watch competitions.

The web app for the manager was based on design components, and the Players facing application was fully custom-made. Both web applications were made using React. All the backend work was done in the .Net Core. We started the work by creating the Manager application for organizers, a web application for players and fans, and the Referee app. This was the scope of MVP, and it was the solution we sold in the first commercial deployment.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with 2 backend developers, 2 frontend developers, 2 mobile developers, and 2 testers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

All the development plans succeeded. We were able to create the entire platform. We managed to build a system for white-label customer deployment from one code base. This was something that LeanCode tech specialists pointed out and made possible.

From the business perspective, we were able to focus on a new client segment - big clients that need their branding on mobile applications. The biggest amateur leagues and tournament organizers in Poland use the system. Any obstacles to the growth of our solution are non-tech related.

We worked in Scrum methodology and were able to create MPV within 3 months. It allowed us to deploy Virium to our first customer for commercial use. We used Google Meet for organizing meetings and Slack for everyday communication. We worked in 2-week scrum sprints. We were able to show the first fruits of our labor after 2 months.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Thanks to cooperation with LeanCode, we could entirely focus on solving our business issues without any fear of the proper implementation of the technical aspects of the project. We could also trust them to solve any technical problems when any arose.

In addition, during the product design workshops with technology experts from LeanCode, we learned that we could implement some parts of the Virium system with solutions that exceeded our expectations and all within the assumed budget. LeanCode's bold advice allowed us to conclude that we don't need some of the functionalities, but from the other side, the key functions were implemented in a way that delighted our clients.

I see some changes we would make, but they would be business decisions. If we would, for some reason, had to rebuild the system from scratch, we would use the same technologies and technical concepts.

I'm the CTO of welliba. Welliba’s EX+ platform enables organisations to measure, predict and manage employee experience. At the same time, it provides on-demand, personalised insights and advice to employees.

We needed support in developing a new service consisting of a web application and an app. We wanted to develop a market-ready product with a small, flexible team in the shortest possible time. The development was to be done in collaboration with our development team.

We became aware of the provider through several technical articles. The professional presentation and large overlap of the Tech-Stack convinced us.

The product is made up of several components. The most important is a web application developed with React and Tailwind CSS. In addition, there is a native app developed with Flutter. The app is used for continuous user interaction and visual presentation of the results. All systems are multilingual and support RTL languages. The CQRS backend is written in C# and uses PostgreSQL as a database. The entire system runs on MS Azure in a Kubernetes cluster. The infrastructure is set up and maintained via Terraform.

Communication with the user is done via a flexible notification system that includes email, push notification, in-app notification, Slack and Teams.

A total of 6 people are involved in the project. 1 frontend developer, 2 backend developers, 1 flutter developer, 1 QA specialist, and a scrum master. They work together with the developers from Welliba.

After a few months, we were able to set up the first projects on the new platform. Currently, new features and improvements are being developed and are being delivered as scheduled.
