What challenge were you trying to address with Shrinkcom Software?

We engaged Shrinkcom Software to update our website and build two mobile applications.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Shrinkcom Software modernized our website, its content, and its member boards for clients. They used a WordPress shell that they then customized to our needs.

They built the mobile applications in Android and will start working on the iOS version soon.

I worked with two team members.

They reached out to me on LinkedIn. They offered a reasonable quote and a solid initial proposal, so I chose their team for this project.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2018, and the project is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The majority of the apps’ development is over; we’re now beta testing Shrinkcom Software’s work. However, the website has launched and received positive comments from our internal team and our clients.

How did Shrinkcom Software perform from a project management standpoint?

The team communicates well despite differences in time zones. They are forthcoming with information and provide consistent updates at each stage. We use WhatsApp and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Shrinkcom Software can deliver a quality product in a timely manner. We received two Android apps and a new website within a couple of weeks, which is outstanding. They excel at using their resources to silo projects.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything. They communicate well in English, which I appreciated.

I’m the president and director of a voting application. People can discuss and give their opinions on current issues going on in the country. They can share how they feel about how things have been dealt with in the past and present. It helps assess people’s mindset on what each government in the Bahamas has accomplished and the efforts they’re currently undertaking.

What challenge were you trying to address with Shrinkcom Software?

I needed help with mobile app development.  

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Shrinkcom Software developed my iOS and Android applications. I told the team I wanted the app to be very stringent about limiting how many times a person can register. Some people might try to have two accounts, and I wanted anyone signing up and rigging the system. 

To use the core features, users input their age, year of birth, occupation, cell phone number, email, and the polling constituency they’re a part of. After they do, they gain access to the current questions of the week and the day. Once we receive their feedback, I take that information and have my team analyze it. They find specific concluding facts based off of our users’ answers.

What is the team composition? 

I deal with members of the tech support team if there are any issues.

They were recommended to me by a reference I trust.

We’ve spent $1,500.

We worked together from October 2018–January 2019.
