Development of a functional invoicing system with features such as invoice creation, scheduling, and payment tracking. Integration of user authentication, dashboard, and reporting functions. Design and deployment of a responsive website to support marketing and user onboarding. Delivery of project milestones within the agreed timeline as specified in the contract.The expectation was for the software and website to be completed and delivered by the agreed deadline. However, the project was delayed by more than two months, and the deliverables were still incomplete. This caused significant disruption to our business operations, as we were unable to launch the product and incurred financial losses during the delay.

The vendor provided some initial setup and partial development work, including basic framework and preliminary UI components. However, the measurable outcomes fell far short of the agreed deliverables.

The invoicing system was not completed and could not be used for real operations.

The website was incomplete and not ready for deployment.

The project was delayed by more than two months, with deadlines repeatedly pushed back.

As a result, there were no successful measurable outcomes that could demonstrate project completion or success. Instead, the lack of progress caused financial loss and disruption to our launch timeline.

The project management was poor. The vendor repeatedly missed deadlines and did not deliver items on time, with the project delayed by more than two months beyond the agreed timeline. Updates were inconsistent and often lacked clarity.

Communication was also a major issue. They were slow to respond even on WhatsApp, which made it difficult to get timely answers or resolve problems. This lack of responsiveness caused additional delays and uncertainty.

When issues were raised, their responses did not effectively resolve the problems, and there was little accountability for missed milestones. Overall, the weak project management and poor communication prevented us from launching on schedule and caused disruption to our business.

They could have significantly improved by managing the project timeline responsibly and delivering according to the agreed deadlines. Clearer communication and faster response times (especially on WhatsApp and project updates) were necessary to avoid confusion and delays.

They should also have provided better accountability for missed milestones, with transparent progress reports and concrete recovery plans. If these improvements had been in place, the project could have been delivered on time and aligned with our expectations.
