Launch Lab provided Resource Augmentation, providing us with resources to work on the Client’s Project. The scope of this arrangement was limited to the implementation of “Experiences” and “Placements". 

All Personnel must meet the below requirements. Personnel was required to: 

• Be proficient with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
• Have at least one resource proficient with React available to Qubit 
• Support Development and Testing 
• Ensure quality code deployment, i.e., compact, efficient, high-performance code with all extraneous comments removed.  Launch Lab to review how to ensure quality code deployment proactively and always implement the feedback received from Qubit. 
• Maximise performance in experiences 
• Work to minimize script size by minimizing import or reliance on large libraries (e.g., jQuery), only import relevant functions if absolutely required (e.g., debounce from lodash), and make use of utilizable code as functions if at all possible.

Best practices: 

• Execute against Qubit platform best practices and coding and QA standards, to be detailed in a training and enablement program delivered by Qubit.

LaunchLab matched us with a big tech consultancy company for which we had to integrate a computer vision pipeline. Our team ran a GPU accelerated AI driven pipeline combined with photogrammetry to extract 3D information from a multitude of cameras in realtime.

We had set certain milestones for the project through which we progressed and achieved in the designated timelines. We also measured sotware performance though profiling and made sure we stay in the desired ranges.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Working with LaunchLab has been different - from IR35 assessments, to contract negotiations and approvals - the whole process of contracting and engaging with clients is made so easy. There is also continued support from the Launch lab team during an engagement which I feel makes all the difference (and isn’t the norm with other consultancies). 

I’ve found that whenever I’ve had any questions, or needed any help or guidance - Adam and the team are always available and ready to help. All this means that I can turn up and do my job as everything else is taken care of.
