I’m the CMO of a venture firm that incubates, invests, and launches startups.

What challenge were you trying to address with Laimograph?

We were looking for a company that can provide us with video and animation production services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Laimograph delivered an explainer video for one of our software products that enable us to plan and predict a company’s financial outcome in different ways.

Another project was for internal use, which is essentially a video to showcase all of our employees and company culture for our website. Some of their tasks also included live video editing, conducting interviews with our colleagues, and audio mixing.

I mainly worked with Andrea (Motion Designer & Animator).

How did you come to work with Laimograph?

They were referred by a web design agency we were working with at the time. I decided to hire them based on their creativity and competitive pricing — they also seemed very collaborative and easy to work with.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent somewhere between $7,000–$10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership ran from February 2020–April 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The video was perfectly executed on time and on budget. It was a pleasant experience working with them because their deliverables were very high-quality, and their process was fairly flexible.

How did Laimograph perform from a project management standpoint?

They were consistently professional, creative, and timely with their tasks, and I really enjoyed working with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed with the value they provided our company. They were very cost-effective and they always identified creative ways to resolve our issues.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they need to improve on.

I'm the program manager for education and prevention of violence against women.

For what projects/services did your company hire Laimograph, and what were your goals?

We wanted to design an educational tool for young people (13-18 yo) about gender based violence among adolescents. The aim was to create an inclusive, simple, short and straightforward video that spoke directly to the target.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

He was suggested by the illustrator we hired for the drawings and we really liked his portfolio.

We wrote the storyboard and hired an illustrator we liked, and imagined a simple editing. Our contact suggested we included Laimograph for the animations and we were stunned at the final work as it was really catchy and very much more detailed than we first immagined.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We had direct contact via email and the communication process was very easy and immediate. Considering that one of the partners of the project wanted a different version of the video, he agreed to share with us three different versions of it, going beyond the initial committment we agreed upon.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We currently use the video in each of our projects in schools and in educational settings after school.

Around 1.500 people saw it as of today and it is a useful tool to conduct laboratories on gender based violence with younger people, both to recognise it and to reflect on which resources they can activate, as a good share of them already experienced it.

His availability to discuss results and to go the extra mile for the best outcome for the client.
