La Palapa devised new ways for a media company's customers to interact with their out-of-home (OOH) advertising efforts. They created an IoT solution that connected billboards with smartphones, TVs, and cars.
By leveraging a Bluetooth and RFID connection, La Palapa's solution formed a digital circuit where OOH ads could interact with nearby devices. This allowed the internal team to customize interactive content as users passed by the ads. The idea is currently in a trial phase to test the technology.
