Produce six versions (a 30 second, a 15, and a 6 second ad — both landscape and portrait) of a recruitment commercial to be used on social media and streaming television. This would be the first ad featuring an animated version of our college mascot, Gillie the Gator.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The campaign is ongoing, so I cannot give any hard measureables, but the anecotal evidence appears that she did a remarkable job on this series of ads, and they have been very well recieved.

She delivered … actually before things were due. I had changes and we communicated via e-mail what those changes were. She would give me a new version of the ad based on this feedback and we worked from there.

They were easy to work with. She was 3,000 miles away but she could have been next door. Very good communication, and a sweet disposition… everything she did was trying to please me as a client. I wish all vendors were like Michelle!

Within our sports app we have a section dedicated to trash talk between sports fans. We contracted Michelle to build 2D animations that would do different gestures to poke fun at the other persons team & happen on the screen live during video chats. The animations would climb from one persons screen to the other and do all sorts of cool and funny things. This is primarily a fun feature for friends to trash talk amongst one another during & after sports matches .

5 custom 2D animations, each with 2 variations, along with additional versions tailored for a 3-user live video screen layout (3 quadrants)

She over delivered and provided almost all milestones ahead of schedule, I’m one of those guys who’s expectations are high & Im generally pretty rigid and uncompromising in that regard but Michelle EXCEEDED every expectation I had. On top of the incredible work she did she is THE most pleasant, communicative, super prompt/fast working, thorough and professional partner you could ask for.

This has been the best experience I’ve had working with any Upwork freelancer & I’ve worked with a ton over my years on here. Michelle is uncommonly talented and did the most amazing job of bringing our vision for our animations to life. 

but what i found most impressive was the experience. She went above and beyond to fulfill my requirements for our pretty intricate project given our project was for app development . She researched high and low and gave recommendations , insights and best practices since our animations needed to be implemented into software and not just for visual purposes. It had to be functional. She worked & interfaces for weeks alongside myself and my app developer until we figured it out. She was an amazing advisor and guide. You don’t need to look any further . Trust me."

Kris Animation Studio created over 30 animated video models for our company, following a strict protocol and model. The team created characters, backgrounds, scenes, and animations of people and fine and gross motor skills.

We found Kris Animation Studio through an Upwork job post. We chose the team because their work was clearly defined, and they were willing to collaborate with our team and stick to our model. Additionally, they had a clear design aesthetic.

We worked together from June–October 2023.

We received more funding from investors due to the progress on the videos. Additionally, we received more customers and doubled our client base within six months.

What challenge were you trying to address with Kris Animation Studio?

We needed help with a volunteer onboarding video.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Kris Animation Studio created a two-minute overview of what it means to be an ambassador. We provided the script, which included an introduction to Mary’s Meals, fundraising, small skits of some ambassadors, and steps to take next.

We requested movement through the video, making it fun and exciting. We also wanted gentle music.

We found them through an online search. We chose Kris Animation Studio because of their animation style and experience working with nonprofits.

We started working together in October 2025.

The video was a success and the first building block in a program. We emailed the video for inquiries, and the audience liked it. They specifically liked the bird that flew through the slides and the ambassador stories.

The project management was excellent. Kris Animation Studio was on time, creative, and willing to accommodate our budget. We communicate via email.

Their creativity to accommodate our vision was impressive.

It would’ve been better if they had incorporated more images of what the children actually look like into the animated images.
