Qualtify builds technologies and services that enable people and brands to connect, interact, and create better experiences. I am the founder and product owner.

For what projects/services did your company hire koein?

I hired Koein at the early ideation stages of Qualtify to help brainstorm process flows and develop end-to-end UI/UX design. At the time, I had many ideas of what I wanted, but no idea of how to make it happen.

How did you select this vendor?

Koein are renowned for their excellent designs and user experience. As a user, I was always curious to know who's behind some of the market's best banking, news, or ecommerce platforms. More than often, I'd find out it was Koein. I was reluctant to hire them at first given my limited budget, but the value they offered compared to others I tried to work with made all the difference.

We started our work with an initial needs assessment completed over a few meetings. Koein documented their findings and shared a breakdown of key project components, delivery timelines, and sample designs. The samples helped capture project spirit while the components and timelines helped prioritize work. Once all was set, a dedicated design team was assigned to the project with weekly deliverables and face-to-face meetings.

For a project of this small scale, I thought it was generous.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Koein's design showed great promise and support from my initial user-base. It was simple, efficient, and intuitive. This prompted me to move from ideation to development. I eventually used the UI/UX designs Koein created in my product development.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I would say the team handling my project was more than patient. They understood it was my first venture in the digital world and gave me all the guidance I needed. They were able to handle my many concerns and helped me move from industry newbie to way more familiar.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

While my work with Koein was limited to design, I was very fascinated with the wide range of digital products and services that allow founders and established companies alike to focus on business development while Koein handles product development.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They've dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's. Couldn't be better!

We had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. Within two weeks, they delivered the first round of the iOS app. They incorporated our feedback and delivered the revised version. Before launching, we ran it through beta testing.

A project manager was assigned to be our main point of contact throughout the project

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Within the first 2 months after our app was launched, we saw over 2000 downloads and achieved a 5-star rating in app stores. We've seen a tremendous boost in traffic since launching the app, and people have commented on how easy it is to use. We've gained new customers as well.

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided frequent updates. We had both in-person meetings and phone calls, Whatsapp calls. Everything was delivered on time and we received ample warning if a deadline wasn't going to be met.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their mobile app development skills were great. They knew everything about UX and execution. Since this was our first mobile app, they were also patient and willing to walk us through their process while we learned.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wish we worked on additional projects with Koein
