I’m an assistant photographer and marketing manager at DUV Photography. Although we’re based in Germany, we travel around the world for projects, capturing live concerts, band photo shoots, portraits, weddings, kids, and street life.

We wanted a professional, high-quality logo and website to represent our brand. 

What were your goals for this project? 

Our main objective was to have a unique logo represented what we do. Besides reflecting our personality, it needed to be creative and catchy enough to be memorable while still being simple.

A friend had worked with Kodetra Technologies Pvt. Ltd. for his logo and was happy with their services. He referred us to them, and we hired the team.

Kodetra Technologies Pvt. Ltd designed a brand logo that accurately reflected our personality in addition to a website.

What was the team composition?

They had a simple yet effective team structure. We mostly worked with a single point of contact throughout the process to go over our ideas and inputs, which was far less hassle than coordinating with multiple people.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We currently use the logo to brand our concert and music photography, and it looks nice. Many people have also appreciated the unique design, which is what really matters. 

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs? 

They workflow was impressive, and they really made it easy for me; it was a professional and friendly process. Our point of contact consistently touched base with us to go over our ideas before conveying our comments to the designer. During the last stages of the project, we also connected with the designer to get our final thoughts across.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

It was such a friendly experience to work with them. The best part about the collaboration was that we were able to integrate ideas from both sides to make our design truly special. They worked hard to deliver what we wanted, taking the time to address any inquiries or doubts we might have had.

No, there’s nothing to say. It was a great experience overall.

We hired them to build the MVP of our web app for initial product validation. It was important to get it out for a large enterprise client on time.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to build a web app with our machine learning API. They implemented architecture and developed software so we could deliver the MVP to our enterprise client.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We interviewed many agencies, but I couldn't find one I trusted. After meeting with their lead developers, I felt confident in their abilities. They clearly had the right foundations and skillset for our project.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They developed technical requirements for architecture and software design, then deployed the micro-services architecture on Google Cloud. After creating a 12-step plan to develop the frontend in Angular and the backend in Python Django, they conducted thorough testing and launched an A/B experiment through an optimized framework. 

What was the team composition?

We had six resources: one project manager, two frontend and two backend developers, and one QA analyst. As the project progressed, we added another frontend engineer.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

They delivered within 12 weeks. The MVP won awards from Google, IBM, and NVIDIA. We initially aimed to complete the project with four resources, but they stayed flexible and finished it with an extra resource.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

It was pretty effective. I'm glad they added a project manager. We used JIRA, Slack, and Zoom for daily communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I appreciated their ability to execute in a timely manner without many bugs.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They could be more available during afternoons in the PST time zone.
