Following an initial interview, I sent all the specific information about my project to KoalaRank. The focus of the activity was the keyword analysis and an audit of current contents, which could bring up ranking possibilities for my site. I was then guided to the creation of the key texts, through specific directions for each article I needed to write, supporting me in formatting it on my site.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We've only been starting for a few months, but I'm impressed with the rationality of the work and the systematic approach. I have an annual content plan in place, which will guide me in pursuit of my goal. Now I don't have to worry about the strategic aspect - I just have to produce content, and I'm confident that the results will come.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Extremely simple and cadenced, thanks to the documents provided by KoalaRank that have been my guideline in the work.

I found them on Fiverr and they had great reviews. I had considered other vendors but they seemed like they were out to get a quick buck.

Koala Rank was in charge of creating blog like guides to generate traffic. We've been advertising through Facebook. My role of the project was to just give as much info as I could from my previous clients to better assist the targetting of our ideal client. The vendor was responsible for creating guides, updating SEO, and running Facebook ads.

I've been working closely with Arrigo and my in house graphics team has been able to contribute some video edits and graphics. I'm not too sure how many team members Koala Rank has.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We've been working with Koala Rank for about 3 months now. So far, we've been gaining website traffic and brand awareness. We have had 0 leads and 0 conversions so far but Arrigo has accommodated for this.

We were expecting to have at least one sale by now but we are very pleased with the work. It's very high quality and it's going to take a little bit of time to attract the right clients.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

So far with very pleased. Communication between us is great! All questions are always answered. They have even given us some free months to help us meet the goals we set at the beginning when we started working together.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Honesty and professionalism are what I find most impressive. I've never felt like I was being taken advantage of. I feel like they've joined my team and are doing their best to help me get results.

Other vendors I've worked with seemed like they just wanted to do the minimum work and just hope the best for you. This isn't the case with Koala Rank. I feel like they're ready to struggle with me and get results.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything is perfect. I just want results at this point. But the way the team is managed to the way communication is handled is very professional.

My team searched online for weeks to compile a list of five potential winners. After doing further evaluation, we were able to narrow it down to three. After we selected the vendor, we only had to have one discovery call because most everything was outlined in our initial call. The CEO, Arrigo, and his team really streamlined our content writing process and began to learn the ins and outs of our company.

From there, Koala Rank and their team started creating the guidelines for our team to work together cohesively and seamlessly without any kind of hiccups along the way. From there, the Koala Rank team started to conduct research and build out all topics related to our business and ranked each one based on priority.

Each topic has its own breakdown that is easily sent to our writer for her to follow along and not get distracted by anything else.

Since beginning our work, we have seen a massive increase in the amount of traffic our site gets, the number of conversions, and the overall sales attributed to Koala Rank’s efforts. The work that the Koala Rank team does is seen around the internet in many different facets and channels. Our sales team is very excited to see the online activity and the amount of warm, happy leads that come in.

Overall, the communication with Koala Rank and their CEO Arrigo was seamless. Whether I have a question, want to get clarification, or just want to talk, the team is always around for a 1-on-1. Whether it be a video chat, email, phone call, or anything in between, the team at Koala Rank has your best interest at heart!

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were blown away by the amount of research, knowledge, and content ideas that the team at Koala Rank came back with. We learned so much more than we thought was possible, and we learned how strategic that content and SEO really are. More so than anything, I appreciate Koala Rank’s patience and willingness to coach our team to success.

We have worked with other agencies in the past, but none of them could deliver the way that Koala Rank did. This has been the best client/vendor relationship our company has ever had. I will certainly recommend this company to others!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I've made a huge amount of progress on my content library. The project was just recently completed, but I've already written an 1,800 word article. Thanks to Koala Rank, I had a crystal clear understanding of the purpose of the article, as well as which keywords I should be highlighting. I even had a rough outline to follow - which transformed the writing process from confusion to clarity.

Koala Rank was incredibly easy to work with. Very responsive to emails & messages, and we spoke on video calls regularly throughout the process. We used collaborative tools like Google Docs and Airtable (my preferred method) for a smooth delivery of the project.

I’m the founder of a company that assists learning and development professionals to reach their potential while communicating their value. We do this by providing learning assets for them within an online environment. Our services include coaching and consulting.

In terms of engagement, we’re seeing an uptick in clicks and audience engagements across metrics. My team has more free time to focus on our core processes instead of being bogged down by marketing tasks. I’m so confident in their abilities that I never second guess their direction or recommendations.

They outperform all agencies that I’ve worked with before due to their transparent communication. Online, I’m able to check in on their progress on blog posts and the editorial calendar. Once every two weeks, they even put together a video narrative of the work they’ve done, so I have excellent visibility to their progress and future plans.

I haven’t had an experience that resulted in me wanting them to act differently. When they weren’t able to meet a deadline, they let us know well in advance with their reasoning for the delay.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen fantastic results from Koala Rank’s work. Their last two articles are now ranking first on Google, and though we have high domain authority, we’ve never managed to get our content on the first page on our own. They clearly have a high level of SEO knowledge.

While the engagement is still early on, we’ve also had a great experience from a thought leadership perspective. We’ve decreased the amount of content we put out, but the amplification has increased exponentially. Our customers and colleagues are very impressed with how informative and relevant Koala Rank’s articles are.

The team truly understands us and our product, which allows us to trust them with our brand and core values. Despite how technical our work is, the team came to speed rapidly to start designing and implementing strategy almost immediately.

Koala rank has been quite detailed and organized in their approach to the project. We use Airtable, which has allowed us to keep track of all deliverables. We rely on Slack to communicate, which sometimes presents challenges as we’re in different time zones. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re ranking on the first page of Google for a highly competitive keyword with our last content pieces. It’s amazing and exceptionally valuable to us. We don’t know how they do it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve their project and account management services. Koala Rank could definitely benefit from having long-term vision discussions around success for the client.

Koala Rank can be very helpful in determining which keywords have an opportunity to rank, but, in the end, the client is the industry expert and should bring that expertise to the table. If you’re proactive, the team will respond well.
