We are a growing startup that wanted to expand our brand awareness while also increasing our top of funnel. We hired Klientboost at the height of the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic to provide us with full scale SEO services to start our keyword ranking to grow organic traffic to our pages.

Since then I have been amazed how well they have been able to work throughout this pandemic delivering us amazing results even getting long tail keywords with Salesforce in them to out rank Salesforce in their own branded keywords.

The reason we selected KlientBoost was that they offered a full-scale digital advertising Ad agency services at a good price compared to other agencies who specialized in just 1or 2 things.

At the start of working with KlientBoost we needed to build our website’s reputation so we laid our goals out by going for high volume keywords that were easy to target on the SEO side while using PPC to go for the much difficult keywords.

From there, their team was able to give us suggestions on new keywords and content topic ideas to further help us get in front of our key demographics. Every time we said “hey we have this idea,” their team would bend over backwards to help us figure out to make it possible, giving us key deliverables.

Since we have been working with Klient boost our month over month traffic has been steadily increasing with a steady increase of inbound leads.

I have worked with probably 4 or 5 different KlientBoost representatives each of who specializes in a different thing. There has been Chris our account manager and PPC specialist, Aaron who manages creative and web design, Benjamin who manages SEO, and a few others for one-off projects.

Since we hired KlientBoost We are rank 1 on several keywords that have led directly to demo requests. We have also had a steady growth in website traffic due to these efforts.

Klientboost has been great at managing our expectations and meeting deadlines, even when they are super last minute and I keep thinking they are going to push back. They don’t.

I have bi weekly meeting with Chris, my account manager, to make sure everything is on track and to plan out the following weeks. Everyone on the team is quick to respond back via email and even quicker on Asana, their project management system.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their level of professionalism and overall knowledge within the marketing industry is impressive. What has stood out more is how well they treat us a customer, willing to bend over backwards to help us out on last-minute projects with no push back at all or helping us with one off projects that weren’t specified in the contract but were out of our scope internally. These guys really go above and beyond

They increased our Return on Ad Spend greatly from where we started. Our conversion rates also improved greatly.

KlientBoost was very responsive and had consistent direct communication. The reporting side could be improved some, but overall they are attentive and easy to reach.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Reese in particular seems very knowledgeable approachable and stays very composed under pressure or when put on the spot.

Reporting and conquesting / exploration of newer terms and markets could be improved.

Klientboost's expertise in both design and conversion rate optimisation is what sets them apart from the competition. Finding an agency that can both produce beautiful designs AND designs that convert well is extraordinarily difficult, and Klientboost deliver on both fronts.

Sometimes the time difference between US and UK time can be challenging, but this isn't something Klientboost are in control of!

Looking to be present in the search results in our emerging markets where we do not yet necessarily rank for keywords, but also to take up some more real estate in the SERPs where we do for extra presence/lead gen. We worked the guys hard on a very demanding schedule for new management requirements in terms of spend and deliverables. They always help to provide a great service in tough conditions.

They use Asana currently to log and manage all work requested. This works for all team members involved to understand where we are at with the campaigns. Emails are regular and meetings set to what we need in the week.

Having a local office in Australia may be handy, just for the odd occasion we needed to chat with someone when the time difference was a little off... nut not a big deal.

We have dozens of campaigns over eight e-commerce websites running at any given time, so it's almost impossible to go into detail with everything, but most of their projections involve:

keyword & placement research, managing multi-channel PPC networks, ongoing PPC auditing, competitor research, ad split testing, conversion review, proper audience targeting, keyword & geo granularity, bid management execution and analytics reporting.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our top goal for any campaign that we run is always to ensure that our return on ad spend is sufficient enough (for us, at least a 3.0) to justify the expenditure. It was a long-term goal, but KlientBoost has been able to help us achieve that goal this year.

Because we measure results on at least a monthly basis, they're able to test for a sufficient period of time but not long enough to do any financial harm if the campaign doesn't succeed, and then adjust as needed.

This speed has allowed us to take small but measured steps toward our goal, which we've now surpassed.

Our KlientBoost reps report to us on a monthly basis via a Zoom call so we can walk through all of the numbers and discuss campaign successes and any shortcomings that we need to address for the next month. It's important to note that while we meet monthly, they are open to meeting as often or as little as we want.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Good communication is key for any team, especially marketing professionals - it's what we live and breathe all day.

So for KlientBoost to take the initiative for regular reporting (as frequently as we request) and to be so transparent with all of the data (even when it's not exactly what we'd all hoped for) has made this an ideal working relationship.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Originally the company reps were waiting for my team and me to be more proactive with them, but they quickly realized that we are tapped out on bandwidth, and they started reaching out to us in advance of standard deadlines.

Like all relationships, it just took a little time for them to fully understand how they could best serve us, which they've done well ever since.

I am the Market Manager of Kaliber Global who manages a few of our emerging DTC e-commerce retail stores that sell toys in the US. My role is to grow our DTC sites that builds up our brand further and expand sales through our own Shopify channels.

The company has been around for 8 years and sales has been strong on Amazon, therefore we would like to start growing our own channel to scale up and expand sales, as well as to build more brand recognition and awareness.

What were your goals for this project?

On the advertising end, our goal is to expand sales as much as possible with a viable yet still profitable ROAS goal, thus to scale up further. On the CRO side of things, our website still has a lot of room for optimization to boost up conversion rate, the goal there is to test different landing pages and apply the ones with best conversion results.

As mentioned we run a small business here - our CEO has different reliable contacts and referrals within some close business groups and partners, who often comes up with recommendations only if they find success working with the company. KB is one of those got recommended.

Goals have been defined clearly and onboarding has been smooth as well, besides from actual deliverables, organized project management and groundwork/expectation set up are essential for small businesses like us.

They managed two different brands for us for Google ads and Conversion Rate Optimization/Landing Page testing. Onboarding was smooth and expectation has been set early on.

Advertising plan, budget, ROAS goals are aligned and delivered - we did have some challenges scaling up but it's still early on the account, therefore we aligned that ROAS is still the major goal to keep up, and it has been well maintained so that we can stay on the profitable side on this ad platform.

We have a main account manager handling Google Ads, and another manager handling CRO.

Our ad spend has a 74% increase while ROAS has a 60% improvement - as much as we would love to grow even quicker, this is a probably a healthier and steady growth for our platform.

Weekly meetings have been precise and on point, and updates are being tracked on Asana. We recently also set up Slack so communications should even be more effective and instant when needed.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Goals achievement. We are quite happy with the results so far. On top of that, they do go beyond the scope at times and give us suggestions on other aspects that helps with marketing and sales overall.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I hope there would be support on Feed management - this can probably improve ads performance even more with closer monitoring and optimization, but I understand KB has been expanding their service constantly, so hopefully this will be something we can look forward to after the busy holiday season.

Our success is based on new roll outs and continued optimization from our learnings. Overall the KB team has gotten to know our product and audience better so that they can support our digital marketing efforts. This has led to stronger launches with faster ROI.

While it does take a minute to get synced with new personalities (like all teams), the KlientBoost family is very tuned in to our needs and are willing to adapt to their customers. For us, creative wasn't a big need but expertise in platforms was, we were able to establish this workflow appropriately over the start up process for an ongoing positive team dynamic.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I really appreciate the fact that their business model is essentially month to month. They want to make sure they are working for their customers and that shows. As a company that needs flexibility, this was a huge selling point and a clear indication that they do care about their customer base and wanting to keep them versus a bottom line.

It was a great fit - we were super early and needed to test channel viability, and they were able to give us a team/pod that could help us do that at breakneck speed.

KlientBoost helped us with almost everything related to PPC - account structure, keyword research, ad copy and creative, ad testing, landing pages, etc. They were also involved in strategy and analytics discussions, but those two domains were primarily run in-house.

I led the team from the client side, and interfaced primarily with a KlientBoost Account Exec, who managed the ad accounts. There was also a designer on board who helped with creative and landing pages.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Again, we were primarily looking to test channel viability. From January to April, we tested hundreds of ad groups (thousands of keywords, dozens of audiences), eventually finding the ones that were profitable for us to bid on.

We then built out search and social ads across platforms with these ad groups. By the end of the engagement, I would say that we thoroughly tested both Search and Social as channels, and were happy with the learnings.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Working with KlientBoost was great. Their team brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm along with expertise. In the time we worked together, the team's output was staggering, and I don't think we ever missed a deadline. If we did, it was just barely.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The best part about working with KlientBoost is the people. They're great. But the results speak for themselves too - if you're looking to get started with PPC and want to jump straight to getting results/learning, KlientBoost can help a ton with the Ad Ops side of things.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No major areas for improvement. Sometimes the relationship can feel more like you're friends than business partners, and that feels sort of weird because it's so drastically different than the way business is usually conducted, but I think that's by design.

I was an Account Executive at Google partnering with a wide variety of advertisers on digital solutions. It was my job to ensure these advertisers, and their agencies, got the most possible out of every dollar they spent with Google, and to find them additional strategies to invest in.

KlientBoost was brought in to help one of my advertisers develop a more strategic website funnel and to optimize their content, design and structure. My client wanted more leads and a more efficient investment, and felt this could be partially accomplished by a more succinct conversion funnel.

The client had only basic web development expertise and as his Google rep, our team specialized in driving traffic to their site, but not the behavior on the site itself. So while the client had historically done all web optimization themselves, once they decided to scale up their growth, they needed true experts at the science of conversion flow.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal of this project was to improve overall conversion rate and to increase total conversions. We (the client and Google) were essentially asking Google to maximize ROI while they're other marketing efforts grew traffic volume.

SOLUTION

How did you select KlientBoost?

KlientBoost was selected by the advertiser out of a pull of several advertisers based on an internally conducted RFP. I believe there were 3-5 companies considered. This project was lead by the CEO and the executive leadership team. The initial scope of the RFP was strictly for website support and conversion funnel optimization. There was already an existing digital marketing agency being used, but they were focused on traffic generation.

At first, KlientBoost was only asked to improve website design, structure, and flow. This included redesigning pages for more functionality, and advising on creativity and content.

However, KlientBoost's work was so exemplary, the decision was made that they should run as much of the business as possible, so the original digital ad agency was removed and those responsibilities were added to KlientBoost's contact. This was a not a small advertising budget. At the time, I believe investment may have been in the low to mid 7 figure and focused primarily on search, video, and display advertising.

What was the team composition?

I primarily interfaced with the founder and CEO of KlientBoost and didn't have a ton of exposure to his teams. At the time, the KlientBoost team was still relatively modest in size, but growing rapidly. The CEO was a fantastic partner though, both in terms of higher level thinking, and in terms of tactical strategy.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Though I can't share specific numbers, the two primary metrics that were focused on during this project were cost per lead and total number of leads. Under KlientBoost's management, we saw an almost immediate increase in total number of leads and a slow decline in cost per leads over the first year.

There were many side benefits as well that at the time, we're considered as high of priority as leads. We saw an increased reach, increase in impressions served, a drastic increase in testing new products and new platforms, and much stronger overall brand awareness.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was fantastic. As I had the opportunity to work both with the previous digital ad agency and with KlientBoost, I can speak to the fact that the ease of communication increased dramatically. The people we worked with at KlientBoost took a very collaborative approach. They were always open to sharing ideas, but equally importantly, they were always open to listening to ideas and finding ways to actually work together.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

KlientBoost has such a great focus on science, technology, and data. It feels as though they are constantly trying to help you evolve your business for the future. They don't just toss out lofty ideas, they bring really sophisticated data to the table in every discussion.

Not based on my experience. I've probably worked with 70-100 ad agencies in my career, and I would probably rank KlientBoost in the top 3.
