There was some inaccurate information provided regarding the legal implications of the risks posed to some of team members. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I was very impressed with Agency Growth Consultant’s services. Since our engagement, we’ve seen success in our food brand development initiatives, and the site is drawing new client inquiries, which is what we were hoping for. As a result, that part of our business is starting to grow significantly. Moreover, the buyer persona worksheets have been really helpful in our business development strategy.

The proof is in the pudding for us, and the results show new prospective food clients that feel very connected to us as an agency based on our website. They understand who we are, our mission, and who they’ll partner with, which is what we were striving to achieve. Overall, we were very happy with the work Agency Growth Consultant did and the investment we made with them.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Agency Growth Consultant LLC provides SEO and analytics services. Kelly (Agency Leader) analyzed our existing website. We needed to figure out where to increase word count and where to improve H1 and H2 tags emphasizing the keywords to use that matched our audience’s interests.

When COVID-19 hit, we switched really quickly from real-world games to virtual games which we hadn't done before. Part of that switch was Kelly analyzing what were the new terms to use. We had to reinvent our website with new keywords, search terms, and structure to help people find our new product.

The lead flow is the best indicator of our website’s ability to generate traffic. That has been on a steady upward climb since Kelly came aboard in 2019. I don’t have the specific statistics, but we had a record year in 2020. Her work is part and parcel of that.

What was the scope of their involvement?

There was an initial discovery process where Kelly (Agency Transformation Coach & Founder) met with us and did a pretty extensive deep dive to learn about our organization, the processes, what our client base looked like, and just to get a good feel for who we were, to begin with. Then, over the course of time, through a series of monthly consultations, workshops, and different forms of consultation, she helped coach me in particular as the agency founder and CEO in terms of improving all of these processes.

In terms of phases, the process was really an initial discovery period of 1–2 months, followed by a discovery document and extensive road map, and then into monthly series of conversations, services, and consultations to help us improve all of our various channels.

We’ve increased sales significantly since we brought them on board. Processes have improved across the board from the way we execute our contracts to our sales approach, branding, the quality of our website, and more. Our sales and marketing efforts have improved as well. Anecdotally, she’s helped me change my mindset in terms of originating and delivering business and giving presentations. She’s touched almost every aspect of the business.

They weren’t delivering physical products to us but in terms of their service, delivery was spot on. There weren’t any meetings missed and everything is executed effectively. If something fails, they go above and beyond and they remain very flexible with us anytime we need to have a quick call or email.

What they promise they have already delivered before, in the sense that here is an organization that knows how to grow an agency because they’ve done it themselves. The second point is, they actually do deliver results.

To start, Agency Growth Consultant helped us to think about our marketplace position and that coincided with a website revamp. Kelly (Integral Leadership Coach) initially interviewed us and asked us how we envision ourselves in the future. Then, she helped develop a strategy for how we can get there.

Kelly helps us gain some traction with new clients and gives us a story to tell in the marketplace. She provides branding, brand strategy, and brand positioning services. She helps us with our website’s construction including its architecture, website copy, and SEO.

We don’t have any metrics. It’s hard to say its impact in a year considering that the COVID-19 pandemic is a big disruptive influence on our business as a whole. Overall, we’ve had a reasonable year and we attribute a lot of that to the advice and guidance provided by Agency Growth Consultant.

Since we engaged with her, we saw our caliber of clients improve. Our average retainer amount has also increased. She guided us towards a stronger sense of administrative organization — we now document more processes and formalize many of our operations in a way that we didn’t before. And now, I know that if an issue pops up, I can just reach out to her and feel better afterward.
