I am a co-founder of the product and Leader of the web development team. We established a start-up, and we develop SaaS (Software as a Service) platform. The service aims in the photography sector.

What were your goals for this project?

I can say that there were three different areas of work. First of all, we wanted to improve the product. The goal was to find as much as a possible inconvenience for users. We asked to design all messages in such a way that users are guided when using the application. Second of all, we wanted to audit marketing strategies. We talk over an enormous amount of different tools. The goal was to make a SWOT analysis of each of them. Third of all, we asked them to develop selling channels. We knew that Kamee has experience in selling Saas services. We asked to make selling strategies - lead generations, initial contacts, presentation procedures, payments option. Our teams develop options for customer support, software development.

Kamee made an audit of our SaaS platform. It includes UX/UI design, functionalities of the software, work ergonomics, and so on. We worked out our selling and marketing strategies. They provide us reports of every marketing tool and selling channels. We got an analysis of 18 different marketing tools and 11 selling channels.

Kamee involved two consultants. They are a co-founder of a few SaaS platforms.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We receive a lot of information in areas:

- user registration

- preparing packages for clients

- payment conditions

- process of prolonging an account

- design user panel

- design administration panel

Based on that information, we change our strategies and redefine our milestones.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We worked together for three months. We organize meeting twice per week, and we send a lot of mails. Documents were modified every week. Over time, they took on more and more appropriate shape.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Kamee's team quickly understood our goals. They regularly asked the right questions and suggested good solutions. We have received a SWOT analysis for all aspects. These aspects concerned UX / UI, network technologies, marketing, and sales issues. We have comprehensive support.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Kamee did not offer law services. For us, it is an inconvenience.

We aim to create a high-quality and top-performing web application for reservations for beauty salons. There are a few panels. Panels are for the administration team, users assigned to account, and users' customers. There is also the web site with registration form and login panel.

What was the team composition? They involved around four people. There was a separated person for project management, coding, consulting, testing. We contacted mainly with PM via Skype and phone.

We contacted a few big players in the beauty industry. Negotiations are in progress.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

In the first stage, we clarified what, when, how we will make. Kamee presented what standards have been worked out for which we agreed. In progress, we did not change anything. Everything went in according to the plan.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

In our contract, we did not put anything about SEO, SEM, marketing. During the progress, it turned out that they are up to date in those fields. They advised in mentioned fields and did not ask about extra money. They take care of our project not only about their reward.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Kamee has no graphic designer. They involved subcontractors.

Our company with other shareholders research opportunity to create a web platform. The tool is intended for all people who organize conferences, trainings, and any other business meetings. We wanted to determine all the details of what this kind of platform should contain. In the configuration panel finally was 44 options to choose. We organized them in an appropriate and intuitive order.

The goal for this project was the complete documentation of a platform which includes all our requirements. We made them in the form of application mock-ups which contain all notes.

Knowing the scope of work to be carried out allowed us to obtain binding offers from programming and marketing companies.

Knowing the scope of work to be carried out allowed for obtaining binding offers from programming and marketing companies. Shareholders decide to stop the project. Implementation is postponing.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Involvement and availability were impressive. Consultations concerned the following areas graphic design, mockups, UI, UX, modeling process in BPMN, application performance, security, database.

I am Chief of Settlements Department. Our company offers all kind of services related to moving. Our customers are companies and private people. Our service is available in the whole of Europe.

My team has a lot of work with drivers salary's calculations. The law, administration regulations are complicated. Moreover, the process became more difficult because we have to take under consideration regulation in other countries.

We contacted a few companies to make for us the tool which could automate that process. We did not require web application. Kamee explained all issues in an understandable way which was appreciated because we have no technical staff in our company.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to obtain software which can save a lot of information about drivers, routes, countries, working time, etc. Analyzing information is made by several methodologies. All results are available in a table. We can choose the best solution for us and implement changes. We can export it, save as a PDF file. Access to the tool has to be easy. Amount of user has to be unlimited.

My team member cooperated with Kamee in his previous job. They made them custom web application to manage tasks, so it was another kind of software. Anyway, we decide to contact Kamee. During the meetings, they changed a little bit our vision of what we accepted.

We obtain access to their internal software for tasks management. There were all tasks assigned to the people involved in this project. They informed about everything that was related to our project.

We checked everything together online with Kamee. When the software was ready, they were testing all application once more time. They provided twelve months guarantee for that tool. Currently, we can broaden option in that tool. We are going to utilize that possibility.

From our side were involved the owner of our company, me (Chief of Settlements Departments), one team of my department and our company which takes care of all technical issues. Kamee involved one Project Manager and at least two web developers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We are using that software only a few months. We obtain all the goals which we wanted. Effectiveness of work is higher as we expected. We are satisfied with that. One person can make 14 tasks per day instead of 5.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Before signing the contract, we met a few times to talk over what do we need. We signed the contract. Kamee carried out project management in a very efficient way. Step by step, the project was implemented.

During the process, we surprised a few times Kamee that we are not able to prepare information as we agreed. Kamee updated the agenda. They were not upset. We appreciate it.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were very determined about our needs. We were not aware of the level of dependencies in software. From the start, they knew what they are doing. From the first contact, they convince us that they are professionals with significant experience in that field. Software is working very fast.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Our company works on three shifts. They were not able to offer support during night hours. They did not promise it. It is an inconvenience.

We found them on Google and then met in person. We listed all our requirements and they quickly understood what we wanted. We could see that they had the required experience. They had similar examples in their completed projects, which was helpful.

Kamee’s first step was to prepare the documentation in mockups. Our teams worked together for a few weeks in order for them to get to know what we do and how we do our job. Next, they worked on developing the web app. They created software to automatically generate documents in a PDF that contains information about payment conditions. 

We got access to their work each week as they created more options. We checked the app on our end, and Kamee made any necessary changes. They continued to provide maintenance and development services after launching.

Our main contact was the project manager. I have no idea how many web developers were involved in our project.

After launch, everyone on our staff now knows where to find or save any piece of information. The software contains only the functions that we use, so new workers are able to learn it quickly. The number of mistakes is smaller, and the automatic PDF document maker saves time.

Kamee ran the project efficiently and met all deadlines. We received all the information we asked for. Kamee adjusted to our preferred schedule of meetings and method of communication. They were very supportive of our team with all kinds of issues. They had to make a few changes before launch because we missed including them in the original documentation. Kamee was always available and eager to support our team. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were very curious about our company, which was necessary to make software that works well for our team.

We discussed the valuation of additional work several times, however we always received a reasonable explanation as to why it takes that amount of work.

I am the Office Manager. My task was to implement a new IT tool for our team. Our company is the biggest Swimming Company in Krakow. We organize lessons in 15 swimming pools. Weekly, we have around 200 lessons with 30 instructors and 10 coordinators.

We keep all data on multiple spreadsheets so we have no online access to it. The instructors spend most of the time on swimming pools where there is no access to a computer so we needed to implement some kind of software which can be easily used on smartphones.

What were your goals for this project?

First of all, we needed to determine precisely what we require from the new software. We made it together with Kamee, the result of which was the mockup, which contained all our requirements. Second of all, we required web app development and tests. Third of all, we wanted to be sure that the software house will help us with any issues which will appear.

Our partner recommended Kamee to us. Before we made the first contact, we had checked their portfolio. Then, we received all information such as the draft of the contract, access to some of their completed pieces of software and important information about the development process. Every contact persuaded us that Kamee is a good choice. We talked with other vendors but none of them were able to deliver exactly what we wanted.

We started with a few meetings during which we talked about processes in our company. Kamee’s Project Manager asked hundreds of questions to ensure they know all our requirements. During our conversations via phone, emails, Skype, Kamee were updating mockups of our future software. Kamee presented the design of software which we accepted. They developed the whole app using Ruby/ ROR. Then they run the appropriate tests (manual, unit and functional). Kamee presented the complete software and we scheduled a few training meetings. After the implementation, we discovered that some processes had to be changed so we asked Kamee to modify the app for us, which they made immediately (1 to 5 working days).

What was the team composition?

At the beginning, we agreed that Kamee’s project manager will be involved in every issue so that we could have a direct and immediate contact with one person. Kamee applied to our project one project manager, at least two programmers, at least one tester, and one graphic designer.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our team work in a few localizations so we received a solution which provides online information. The app is easy to use even on a smartphone. That software became our company's main tool for work. After the implementation, we discovered that we no longer lose time to find information. Everybody knows where to check any data. The software works quickly, so we save a lot of time in our day-to-day. We no longer copy customer details from one spreadsheet to another so the database contains significantly fewer mistakes. We have more options to choose from instead of typing, so it enhances the quality of our database.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Kamee proposed a schedule for the project: - making complete documentation – mockups which will be modified until the final acceptance on our end, - app development and tests, - checking the software – presentations, training meetings, support for our team, - launching – help desk and other support if needed, - maintenance and further development if needed. We agreed to make it according to that schedule. Project manager immediately answered our questions about the software, the server, maintenance and so on. We communicated via emails, Skype, phone and Redmine software.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were afraid that we will be pushed to speak technical language about our software. In reality, it was on the contrary. They explained all the issues in a plain language which was nice. Our administrator efficiently determined all technical issues with Kamee, which was great because we expected it to take a lot of time. Communication was impressive. Most of the information we received in one hour, other details were given to us after one day.

All team from a lot of destinations has easy access to all information. We gather information in a well-organized way. Our team knows where to find every information. We see how this kind of web application can help in daily work. We are going to implement more modules to operate more processes in our company.

Kamee is very familiar with the care service industry. It was easy to believe that they implemented before web applications for companies with the same sector. Kamee is familiar with a lot of aspects of our work. We got high quality consulting. Marcin presented feedback on an idea very quickly. We are lucky that Marcin was talking about this kind of aspect before with other companies.
