We are a digital lead generation agency and software company. I am the Founder and CEO.

For what projects/services did your company hire Juniper Growth?

We had hit early revenues in our business and were getting great feedback from customers, but growth was slow and there was no marketing plan. Dan and Juniper Growth started off as marketing advisors, making suggestions around tools, platforms and tactics. We then hired Juniper for overall marketing strategy and implementation - 100% hands off from us since we were building.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Dan was a friend and connection prior to this engagement. His advice was valuable so we formalized the relationship with a "Done-For-You" model and he took the project from there.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We started the paid phase of our relationship and our marketing efforts took off when Dan took the reigns of our ad spend and put us on TikTok. We quickly hit over 1mm total views and have an evergreen pipeline of 1000s of super high intent viewers coming from YouTube every month. Afterwards, Dan upgraded our organic presence with a content strategy and helped us hire our first FT marketing employee.

Dan and his marketing assistant. Dan was our main point of contact and implemented and drove our marketing processes.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

1mm+ views on TikTok. 100k+ views on YouTube and thousands of evergreen views every month. Company rebranding. Over $450K in total net-new revenue driven into our pipeline.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We let Dan take the reigns of our marketing with almost no input. Weekly/twice monthly reports and strategy reviews kept us updated on progress and major marketing purchases.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I liked their non-traditional approach to marketing to a niche audience. He didn't push us towards expensive PPC ads, he opened up the world of organic, social and influencer marketing that I didn;t think was possible for a SaaS product.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Solid performance overall. Would like to see more aggressive deployment of growth capital into successful marketing tests.

I’m the CEO of a D2C golf ball company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Juniper Growth?

They were responsible for our early-stage social media marketing and influencer marketing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We worked in a consulting relationship, with Juniper Growth’s team being responsible for posting across our Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok accounts. They were also responsible for identification management and outreach for our influence marketing efforts.

We specifically engaged with golf meme content, which was rising in popularity during our engagement. We identified and reached out to people on social media and identified target costs per 1,000 impressions.

They’ve also developed photography and short-form video assets for us.

What is the team composition?

I only worked with Dan (Growth Marketer). He did everything.

How did you come to work with Juniper Growth?

They were a recommendation.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost was roughly $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from July 2021–March 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Their responsiveness, creativity, and ability to go above and beyond with minimal oversight or direction stood out. They had a succinct understanding of my goals and objectives. Also, their communication was very easy and frequent.

Metric results were secondary to our success, in my mind, but there was certainly growth in our revenue and social media following.

How did Juniper Growth perform from a project management standpoint?

Their ability to stick to our schedule was outstanding. Additionally, they provided weekly and monthly reports on our social performance. Communication happened over phone calls, emails, and Slack messages. They were very responsive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their ability to understand the broader premise of our project without too much guidance from us stood out. I would rate their communication similarly high.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t think so. They met our expectations.

Set clear expectations and ensure they develop an understanding of what constitutes a successful relationship with you.

I am the Marketing Communications Manager at a global association for math teachers.

Our association was looking to get on the TikTok/Instagram Reels space, and we needed some consulting services to get us off the ground.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I found Dan through Growth Collective. I interviewed a few marketers but decided to work with Dan because of his professionalism, expertise, and patience.

Dan helped us come up with a strategy to start our TikTok account and keep it flowing until we were able to stand on our own. He identified math influencers that we should be engaging with, introduced the influencer strategy to our team, helped us edit some videos to get a few posts going, and overall provided consulting services for our team.

I worked closely with Dan along with a few of my other team members.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our TikTok account has successfully been launched and we're working on populating with more videos before we officially launch to the public. On Instagram, we have seen an enormous increase in our engagement, which has also resulted in an increase of followers.

Dan and I communicated over email regularly and we had bi-weekly meetings to check in on the projects.

We were impressed with their efficiency, intelligence, expertise, and creativity.
