To deliver a video for use internally and externally that demonstrates a corporate committment to diversity, equity and inclusion by highlighting an Indigenous art installation at an operating site. The project involved story mining, lengthy interviews and unique film perspectives to tell a story of Indigenous cultural celebration. Deliverables included several different cuts of the same video for use on various communications channels.

Final products garnered significant positive social media engagement.

What challenge were you trying to address with Journeyman - video production & video marketing?

We needed to turn a complex client software into an easy-to-understand video.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Journeyman produced a three-minute video and some social media cutdowns. The team handled the video's entire production, including the storyboard, planning, interviews, production, and output.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 2–5 teammates from Journeyman.

How did you come to work with Journeyman - video production & video marketing?

We found Journeyman through an online search. We chose them because they were a great culture fit and had aligned company values.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Journeyman from October 2025–March 2026. The project was longer due to client delays not Journeyman.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We had a happy end client. The video has not yet been publicly shared.

Journeyman delivered on time and kept open communication to keep the project moving and successful. We communicated via virtual meetings, and emails.

We were impressed by their kindness, quality of output, and attention to detail.

The scope of work was to create a safety orientation video for energy production locations. Key deliverables included consistent safety messaging across all locations, site specific leaders delivering the safety message and to highlight the safety efforts in the workplace.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Delivered a professional safety orientation video that has been well received by everyone and has had excellent feedback from visitors and staff. The project came in on schedule and under budget.

An experienced film company that helped staff get comfortable on camera to deliver a professional project they could be proud of. 

Filmed in a challenging industrial environment, requiring strict HSE protocols and attention to detail and good schedule planning/scouting ahead. 

Managed the project from start to finish, supporting script creation, adding artistic filming angles with music and digital graphics. 

Provided on time delivery of a film that was above expectations.

The experience and professionalism brought to the project were impressive. How the director was very detailed digging into the specifics of the workplace to create a script and film that is meaningful to the workforce.
