Jodie ran SEO strategy and execution for our e-commerce site, which is long-established with a large product catalog and years of accumulated content. The engagement was broad and covered both technical and strategic work. What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Several of our priority keywords held or improved to first-page positions during the engagement, including two that landed in the top five, and the link building program generated placements from a set of relevant industry sites at an average domain authority of around 40. Beyond rankings, the more durable wins were structural: a cleaner technical foundation, resolved redirect and navigation errors, a consolidated domain, and a clear internal linking roadmap that our team is continuing to execute.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We originally planned to work with Jodie for about 4-6 months because we had one specific project we needed help with. It turned into over a year and a half because she was AWESOME and we enjoyed working with her so much. Jodie C Ball is down-to-earth, personable, and can explain things in clear terms if needed. We came to her with a variety of unique problems, and she was great at identifying what we could handle on-site versus what she and her team should take on. That hybrid approach worked really well for us, and we improved in many ways as a result. The SEO, GEO, and AEO world is changing so fast right now, and it is genuinely valuable to have someone in your corner who stays on top of it and can tell you plainly what's an easy lift, vs. medium/hard to save for later. Her reporting was organized and thoughtful, and she surfaced insights about our site that we might not have caught. Honestly, there is a ton to be gained just from her initial consultation and the first few months of working together. If your company doesn't have an internal SEO team or expert, I'd highly recommend considering JCB and her team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We went from a brand new website not ranking for any keywords to first page rankings on 2-3 keywords - including being featured in a Google snippet for one keyword - in 3 months! I was honestly blown away by those results. I expected it to take 6-9 months before we seriously started competing for those rankings.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They provided formal updates and we discussed the results monthly over the phone. However, they were very accessible and answered any questions or concerns I might have had quickly and efficiently.

The results. They exceeded our expectations and over delivered on their promises.

I own and operate The Neon Factor. One woman show. I bring my readers and followers real information of the newest fashion products which they may or may not contemplate buying or not. I give my honest reviews on items I know will simplify, help, and enhance my readers life. I do this by writing blog posts, social media marketing, and also focus a large portion of time to trend forecasting.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal of both projects were to test first hand the selected item and give my honest opinion. I made sure to include hard facts about each item with details given on the companies website. That way my readers are informed and educated. I then supplied links to each item from the blog.

How did you select this vendor?

Testing out a new company is always a gamble, but you'll never know how wonderful a company is until you give them the first try. That's what I did and haven't regretted it. Each project was planned out in detail and with more than enough time to complete. Very easy to work with and great communication.
