Antwork was looking to outsource its social media and digital marketing management to a company that could manage our growing accounts as we started to plan our expansion across various countries.

Jeel Media had all of the necessary expertise and skilled professionals to fully take on the task, while granting us a bespoke service, and a personalized relationship that has felt like they are an extension of our own team.

Jeel were tasked with reviewing our SEO performance, then recommending and implementing the fixes to enhance our ranking and performance. This task is approaching completion and we are starting to see the results. Jeel Media also have taken on the management of our social media for one year to date, they have increased our following and engagement, and provided hands on support with all of our communication needs, and ran a number of ad campaigns that resulted in conversions for us.

We have worked with one main account manager, and more recently with an account executive on her team. We have also liaised with two professionals from their technical team in relation to the work being coordinated for our SEO.

we have been quite pleased with the results of all the work conducted by Jeel Media, and have seen some tangible sales conversions as a result of their campaigns, and the increased visibility their work has generated for our workspaces and products.

They have been a pleasure to work with! they are highly professional, attentive, and prompt. Their knowledge of our product has been greatly valuable, and it has made us feel that they are indeed part of our team rather than a third party.

I’m the operations director and product manager of Misbar. We’re a fact-checking platform operating in the US and the MENA region.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Jeel Media provides us with technical SEO consultancy and content creation. They work by managing our marketing campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We have an internal designer that does many of the daily posts, but Jeel Media does the design for specific brand awareness campaigns that they’re running. 

We’re releasing new campaigns every 2–3 months. I have meetings with Jeel Media’s team to explain what the features and roadmap are, and they’ll prepare a brand awareness campaign based on those plans. They run the campaign after our approval, and they create designs and all other assets for regular posts, videos, and so on. They’re also running influencer campaigns in the MENA region.

What is the team composition?

We have four people from Jeel Media working with us on a monthly basis. I work directly with two SEO experts, a technical expert, and a content consultant. For social media management, we have an account manager and a designer. They assign specific people for the marketing campaigns.

How did you come to work with Jeel Media?

They were already working with the company a year and a half ago when I started. I felt comfortable working with them, and I plan to continue the collaboration as long as Jeel Media delivers.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $300,000 or more, so far, for all of Jeel Media’s services. We have a budget of $25,000 per month for 2021.
 
What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Jeel Media in February 2020, and it’s an ongoing collaboration.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The SEO is the best part about working with Jeel Media. We just took up the service in 2021, and I’m very happy about it. They make a lot of changes to the SEO before and after starting the project, and we’ve had pretty good achievements. On average, we are getting 150,000 visits per month from Google, and Jeel Media’s team more than doubled that number in three months. We’re getting 500,000 now, and we’re going to pass that number this month.

Jeel Media is doing a great job with the influencer campaigns. I’ve never asked them for specific influencers to acquire, but everyone they’ve brought on has been capable.

How did Jeel Media perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Skype on a daily basis, and we have separate weekly meetings for the SEO, marketing, and social media teams. They give us reports on a weekly and monthly basis. The monthly reports are more detailed, and I share them with my board. They contain all the data that should be shared with management. Jeel Media knows exactly what we need, and I feel comfortable working with them.

I like working with them for several reasons, starting with their availability. If I have a crisis or need anything, I’ll always find someone at Jeel Media within 24 hours to answer my call. They create tickets in Jira with things for the developers to fix. Even if they surpass a goal, they continue to find solutions to get better and better all the time.

I’m working with Jeel Media directly only on SEO, but my social media department tells me that they’re very satisfied with the services. We have 15 editors who do an SEO writing workshop every week with Jeel Media; our editors are journalists, and they never worked on SEO, so Jeel Media gives them tests, and everything is getting better each day.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a great team for technical SEO in the MENA region. I’m working with them on a daily basis on that, so I know what a big impact they’re making. Had you asked me in January what I thought we’d achieve with SEO, I would’ve said that 500,000 monthly visits would be a miracle, but they have done it. We’d worked on it ourselves, and we did achieve something, but it was around 150,000. Jeel Media got us to 500,000 visits in three months — it was amazing.

There is none that I can think of.

One of my friends was working at Jeel Media when I was searching for noteworthy social media companies and recommended them to me. I also know other people who have worked with them, so it gave me confidence. We had several meetings and didn’t really consider any other company since they gave us very good prices.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our projects have been successful with their help. Jeel Media’s work has boosted trust between us and our clients. We currently have a project in Istanbul, Turkey and we don’t know how the culture works there in terms of social media and brand awareness. Jeel Media is helping us a lot in getting more deals from our client for development services, so we’re very happy with them.

How did Jeel Media perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m in contact with them every two weeks but my staff is in touch with them on a daily basis. We had several delays in the beginning due to cultural differences between them and our client. Once they better understood their market, they delivered successfully.

I’m very pleased with them now. We usually communicate over email but if something is really important, they’ll reach out by phone. Overall, their service is excellent.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Jeel Media does a very good job of understanding their client’s needs even if it will delay the project a little. They insist on comprehending everything in order to deliver the best service they can offer. They’re not just looking for revenue, but rather forming long-term collaborations with their clients.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve their adherence to deadlines and focus on the new technologies emerging for social media, especially in AI.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Clients need to understand that they focus their work on their region. They have some limitations when it comes to other areas. The client needs to help them understand the culture they’re targeting. Other than that, Jeel Media is excellent and very committed. I believe they will become the best social media company in the near future in their regional market.

The focus is on increasing our presence in those areas, in terms of audience and followers. SEO is also a big part of their work, increasing our visibility and presence on search engines. We’ve been happy with everything so far.

Overall, we’re very happy with them. Since beginning the engagement, we’ve been doing great on social media and our Facebook page now has more than 1 million likes. We’re also doing well on Instagram and Twitter. We’ve seen progress in all of the areas we wanted to.

They manage projects very well, demonstrating their effective approach and resulting in success. We don’t have any problems in this regard. The team maintains an open channel of communication, day or night.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They handle our social media platforms wonderfully and professionally. Their young staff makes communication easier, as our site targets a younger demographic. Their team knows what kind of content our audience is interested in.

We don’t have to spend a lot of time explaining what they need to do. They take the initiative and suggest ideas for video and content creation—sometimes they go to our website and collect articles for us to produce in video form. Our collaboration is very smooth, natural, and effective in terms of achieving our objectives.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, nothing comes to mind immediately. They communicate with us in Arabic and English, and they understand the nuances of the language we use on our website. We were afraid that there would be a language barrier, but haven’t faced any issues.

There are around four people that we work with. Our main meetings are with their managing director and CEO, plus two other technical employees.

When I started working here, the negotiations had already started with Jeel Media. We had several meetings and they submitted a proposal to be our agent. After they walked us through their process and how they’re going to handle the project, we made an agreement for two years.

We started working together in October 2018 and the project is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The clients we work closely with are very satisfied, especially with Jeel Media’s content monetization process and service. Our process is long, and we still have a while before seeing more concrete results. Because of this, we’re waiting for the end of the year to fully be able to give a fair review of their impact.

How did Jeel Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management approach is good, compared to other’s in their field. We receive monthly reports and have a catch-up meeting every quarter. We frequently communicate, whether on a daily basis or multiple times per month depending on our needs. They’re open to being involved in our collaboration tools, but we primarily use Skype, email, and in-person meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Whenever I have any concern, they try to explain it very clearly and take me through their process. I’m not a technical person and they try to give me information in a way that I can fully understand. Their confidence and problem-solving abilities make them effective partners. No matter what’s happening, they don’t treat it as a roadblock.

They should grow their team to keep up with an increase in business.
