Jax Digital was so easy to work with and offered wonderful suggestions to meet my website and business needs. Each step of the project was completed on time. The Jax Digital team was open to suggestions and edits along the way and I couldn't be happier with the final product.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was most impressed by Jax Digital's timeliness and ability to stay on task to help keep the project moving forward. Jax Digital offers a wealth of experience and knowledge when it comes to web design and SEO so I knew my new website was in great hands. The team was also open to ideas for customizing the site to my unique business needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Jax Digital could have done differently?

Honestly I cannot think of any areas for improvement.

I own Wicked Dutch Creative, a graphic design and marketing consultancy firm. It’s a one-person business, so I’m also the creative director, graphic designer, and so on.

What challenge were you trying to address with Jax Digital?

I built my previous website on Squarespace, where I didn’t have the freedom to design it as much as I wanted to. Thus, I needed someone to build a website and implement my design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I first approached Jax Digital with my web design. Aside from the look, I also detailed how I wanted the UX to feel because I really wanted it to be unique. The team was then able to build it and implement my design. In terms of the backend, they made it easy for me to update it on my own. They also sent me a video demonstrating how to set it up. The site is live and features my services and several of my previous projects.

I only had one point of contact.

I met them through a mutual friend. I reached out to them and decided to work with them because of their reasonable prices.

We spent $2,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from April–July 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The site was functional, and they were able to create the unique UX I wanted. I appreciated how easy it was to update the site. Overall, I was satisfied with their work.

How did Jax Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

They met the deadline perfectly. The process was very straightforward because the team understood what I was trying to do. We communicated primarily through email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The Jax Digital team was dedicated and genuinely interested in developing the website — they really went above and beyond to figure out how best to implement my design. Additionally, their customer service was terrific.

I have no complaints.

I'm the owner of Miles West Creative, a video production company based on Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We specialize in the outdoor recreation, agriculture, trade, architectural & rural lifestyle space. Providing creative development, still & motion photography, aerial drone services, virtual reality, audio engineering, multi-platform content strategy & post production services.

For what projects/services did your company hire Jax Digital, and what were your goals?

We needed a brand new website to launch Miles West Creative. Case studies, information on services and contact details were items we wanted readily available. Clean & simple was always the goal.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After searching for potential partners, JAX stood out as a partnership, not a vendor offering web services to us. Working through our goals in the development stage is what enabled Jax to bring all the pieces together. Great listeners and even better imaginations.

We had a kickoff meeting to discuss our goals. From there, JAX Digital came up with several options and visuals to enable us to envision what they were thinking in a site. After we had a rough draft going, things moved quickly into place. JAX was fantastic on customizing and changing things to our specific needs. Jax Digital paid great attention to our wishlist and goals throughout the process.

I was able to work directly with Bill at JAX. Bill is an experienced web developer who made this process painless. I was nervous to place this project in someones hands, but I'm glad we chose to let Bill take care of things for us.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the site, we are already ranking on google, just months after launch. Keywords, tips & tricks from an experienced staff are what I believe have our website traffic moving so quickly.

We had weekly check-ins, but initially the workload of planning and strategizing was a bit heavier. JAX was able to take our company brand standards, wishlist, page needs and build something beautiful for us to showcase our work and process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We appreciate their encouragement and setting our site up so we can be more independent. We feel confident making basic site changes and know the team at JAX is just a phone call away for larger change needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We haven't had a hiccup with our entire page. Our internal team simply made a few spelling mistakes, but as far as functionality - JAX Digital knocked our site out of the park. Thank you team.

I was referred to Jax Digital from a colleague. I was looking for a company that was more hands-on and responsive than the other providers available.

After launch, we saw a 65% gain in organic traffic, 70% gain in leads, and a 50% gain in conversions.

We were impressed with the sophistication of the software and the level of attention to detail Bill, our Web Developer had.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I love being able to make one phone call and never be put on hold to make changes or if I have questions. The most impressive thing has been the results. I would like to note how personal all of the interactions have been. Unlike many of the big box competitors.
