Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m an IT and project manager for SAP implementation in Latin America. I work at Tremco Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio.

What challenge were you trying to address with ITPS One?

We contracted them through Fujitsu to provide consulting services for our company in Latin America.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

ITPS One provides various consulting services, including advice on costing, purchasing, maintenance, controlling, and supply chain. We don’t deal with them directly. We have a contract with Fujitsu, and they subcontract them.

What is the team composition?

We work with about 17–18 consultants from ITPS One.

How did you come to work with ITPS One?

They were recommended to us by Fujitsu.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent roughly $4–$5 million.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement started around January 2020, and it’s still ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve operated successfully in Latin America thanks to their services. They have local knowledge of the region, and people feel comfortable interacting with them. Overall, they’ve contributed significantly to the project's success in Mexico.

How did ITPS One perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re performing well. We usually have two weekly meetings; they report the project status, milestones, and next steps. Communication happens mainly through emails and calls, and we communicate daily.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have local knowledge of the region, so it’s easy for us to operate there successfully. In case of any issues, they can change a consultant without affecting the project’s program.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could diversify and have more branches in other countries. We’ve looked for consulting firms that can offer services in Chile, Colombia, and the rest of Latin America. ITPS One has several resources but doesn’t cover the whole region.

Any advice for potential customers?

Be in control of the project and have many on-site people who understand it.

We needed a trusted SI with vast knowledge and experience in Latam regarding SAP S/4 HANA Global implementations

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have a long term relationship with ITPS and they have always provided top quality consultants and project work.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Global SAP S/4 HANA rollout. North America template used in rollouts. ITPS is rolling out the Global template and the appropriate localizations to various Latin countries.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Over ten resources, ranging from Project Manager and functional and technical consultants.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The rollouts have gone live successfully in two countries and one more country to go live on September 2022.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Excellent collaboration with the client, my team and the ITPS team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I like their top-quality resources, leadership, and involvement in the project.
