Itexus was very casual and direct, which was awesome. Very time-oriented but not annoying about it. Communication was simple and we chose to use email.

Their ability to be so down to earth and understanding of our needs from the first 5 minutes of our initial engagement. I knew within that time frame that Itexus was the development company for us. From that point on each meeting was professional and fun, the teams were super prepared and well versed, and each deliverable was above expectations. Their recommendations for the best business practices and designs for user functionality was beyond our imagination. Very great work.

The challenge was building out the frontend for a software product unlike any other in existence. Itexus had to take what was in the founder's mind and turn it into not only top-level code but a product itself with lots of functionality.

Itexus came highly recommended and they were not only extremely knowledgeable and imaginative, but also affordable and a pleasure to work with. In fact, I've begun recommending them to other potential clients as well.

For proprietary reasons, I cannot discuss in detail the technologies and deliverables, but what I can say is there was tremendous scope involved and Itexus had the team to tackle it.

While I interacted with 5 team members, there were many more engineers and developers I did not meet because they were working behind the scenes. Their project manager and technical manager were particularly knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with.

They delivered the product on time and on budget. We've since begun to show the finished product to industry leader and potential clients -- and everyone has loved it. Almost more importantly, I love it because they've actualized what has been my dream product for some time.

The entire team was very communicative and easy to reach. While we occasionally exchanged emails, we dealt mostly via Slack and Zoom, which gave our interactions a more personal touch. It's clear Itexus cares about its clients and top-notch service.

It's hard to isolate just one or two things that were most unique or impressive about Itexus -- everything they do is unique and impressive. But if I had to choose one thing, it's the company's painstaking attention to detail and insistence on superior work.

I have zero complaints.

Our app is an innovative life-saving app - We enable fast first aid in any emergency situation. The intelligent emergency app that saves lives with just a tap. You can alert the emergency services and one or two qualified first responders in the immediate vicinity.

In addition, the app itself provides you with instructions on how best to act in the respective situation until the professionals arrive I'm the CTO in this project and responsible for the product development.

Through the Business Development Team via LinkedIn we came to Itexus. And with the meetings we had we have seen that they share our values and the perspective of innovation.

Our project is currently ongoing but required the modelling of tick data from API sources into realtime charts. The system also required the development of a distributed building blocks system enabling control by the user to adapt the system to new emerging market scenarios. The system itself has been built using Python primarily and as the system develops will require the integration with a payment providing system enabling account access to a client database

So far with the project we have been completely satisfied with the results from ITexus and have always found them to go beyond the requirements to understand our needs on the project. They are always available at very short notice to discuss any areas of the project and we have found them to operate at the highest levels of professionalism. they have always delivered on what they have said they would at every stage of the project so I would have no problem recommending them to anyone

We needed a modern and great-looking frontend which would integrate with our existing backend solution.

We searched for a near-shore companies that could help us creating a modern frontend application. We shortlisted 3 companies and started to work with 2. After 6 month we reduced to one and Itexus was this remaining company as we were most satisfied with their provided results.

We needed a new frontend based on modern web technologies. We decided to use Angular as our technology stack. The backend services were developed in-house and deployed as development environments that could be used by Itexus. We based our project organziation on agile methods and worked with a SCRUM board. New issues has been created by us and then have been estimated by Itexus. After short discussion issues has been then prioritized by us and Itexus started working on them.

Our customers were satisfied with the new frontend as they were able to work with the new UI without prior knowledge. Very clear user interface and stable application.

We had daily meetings via Skype where we discussed all daily issues. We were working with JIRA & Bitbucket.

Very good communication on their side and good responsivness when something needed to be fixed.

Challenge - For what projects/services did your company hire Itexus? I needed a software development team to create a platform to connect therapists-patients and patients-patients - telemedicine web and mobile platform from scratch. What were your goals for this project? A telehealth platform to enable women to take care of their mental health on the go.

I wanted to back up the app idea with solid expertise in the telehealth industry, so I reached out to Itexus, reviewed the references. We discussed the idea and its realization. Their team and managers had experience in healthcare development, so it was the right choice.

A telemedicine platform for women to access a therapist, approach a mentor for support or become a mentor for others, and talk to other women in a safe and supportive environment. The app has customer and admin modules, scheduling features, in-app chat and video calls, notifications and ability to make subscription payments inside the app.

We launched the app successfully and the number of subscriptions is constantly growing. Currently, the project is attracting investments, and once the round is complete we’ll start new features development.

Communication was comfortable and easy, the team was very responsive. The whole work was based on the agreed flow.

The way the team treated such sensitive aspects as personal data protection is amazing. It is of crucial importance that clients shouldn’t have concerns about the possible data leak and to provide them with trouble-free access to counselors’ help.

The main components of the project have all been programmed satisfactorily, are working stably, and are fit for use in the further phases.

The agile methodology Scrum was used for project management with bi-monthly sprints. The tasks were managed with Jira and the user stories with Confluence. Communication was by Skype, which was one of our requirements.

The team at Itexus is very committed and engaged. They are sincerely interested in the success of the project and put a lot of effort into it.

We are very satisfied overall. The only thing we would like to see is an optimization of the consistency.

They had really good technical expertise and could deliver in a short amount of time.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Before Itexus developed this software, we weren’t able to confirm right away whether our customers really bought products; the customer had to take a photo of his deal and send it to us, and then we’d have to check it on our side. It was very difficult for customers and for us. It’s now more comfortable for customers.

How did Itexus perform from a project management standpoint?

We had some problems with checkpoints on 1–2 days, but the final results were received on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They try to give results in a noncommon way. They think outside the box. They know a lot of technologies and how they can implement them to solve problems.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No; they’re adaptable to new technical solutions.

Give them freedom and believe in them.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I have videos of stand-up comedians performing at the festival when it ran from 2002–2004. The app, which is built for iOS and Android, showcases those videos. Their team implemented capabilities that allow me to upload the videos myself.

The team at Itexus works pretty well.

In the beginning, they said that they could do the project. In the middle, their team had trouble figuring out a specific feature. It felt like they gave me a false positive in the beginning. Their team also said that they could finish within two months, and it ended up taking longer. Because of that, we ended up going over budget.

Try to nail them down to a set fee as opposed to hourly.
