For example, firstly, the team created the full backup of the data that was being moved. In this way, no data would be lost even if something goes wrong. Next, they tested the migration process in the mirrored production environment. And only after that, they executed the actual migration plan. The next step was a post-migration audit.

At this point, the team checked whether the migration plan was successful. They did all the necessary follow-ups, triggering the website’s functionality to see if everything was working correctly.
