The project focused on migrating an existing legacy Java application for test automation to a modern web technology stack based on Angular. IT Squad provided extensive support throughout various stages of the project, including preparation of the architecture, scope analysis, and definition of the first sprint. Their involvement extended to development, business analysis, and UX design. 

Firstly, an in-depth analysis of our current application was conducted to understand its functionalities, structure, and requirements. Subsequently, a target architecture for the application was devised, taking into account the new requirements and capabilities offered by the Angular framework. 

A comprehensive transition plan was prepared to ensure the seamless coexistence and functioning of both technologies during the project implementation. The aim was to minimize disruption to ongoing operations while maximizing the benefits of the new Angular-based architecture. The next step involved defining the project scope, including the functionalities to be transformed and any potential additions or enhancements in the new version of the application. 

During the initial sprint, they played a crucial role in defining tasks and milestones, setting the project on the right track from the outset. Throughout the development phase, they provided continuous support in business analysis, gaining insights into end-user needs and refining functionalities accordingly.

3. IT Service Management (ITSM) processes enhancement (a detailed assessment of existing IT processes, identification of vulnerabilities, and the formulation of a robust roadmap to address and rectify issues; bolstering agility with the seamless implementation of refined Change Management and Release Management processes)

IT Squad organized a series of business workshops with Marketing Online, delving deep into the analysis of requirements for various modules, including optimizing the internal Back Office module to enhance employees' daily workflow, ensuring a positive user experience for end-users through the integrated Customer Panel, and refining the Estimator module for accurate and efficient backend calculations. 
Simultaneously, collaboration with the UX/UI team was initiated for the development of a new system layout. The process began with creating a fresh look and feel for the application, preparing a comprehensive design system detailing information on text styles hierarchies and compiling components with their variations. 
Approaches to the main functionalities were outlined, proposing the arrangement of elements on the screen through both low-fidelity and high-fidelity mockups. In parallel, technical workshops were held to assess the existing solution architecture, with a specific focus on strategically planning the division between frontend and backend layers. The project also confirmed the scope of non-functional requirements - performance, security and data retention. 
A dedicated discussion on technical debt was conducted to ensure the scalability, security, and sustainability of the solution in the long run. This thorough analysis and planning phase not only addressed immediate concerns but also tailored the development roadmap to seamlessly align with the objectives of Marketing Online.

The whole project took only 3 months and as a result we've had a detailed knowledge of what has to be done to achieve our big goals and the cost which needs to be involved.

In collaboration with one of the leading commercial banks across Europe, North America, and South America, IT Squad is engaged in a project focusing on automated testing. This initiative is tailored towards enhancing the efficiency and reliability of the bank's website, particularly in areas such as customer service, customer retention, and sales offers.

By scrutinizing key functionalities such as account services, transfers, account history, payments, as well as offers such as loans and cards, our aim is to ensure a seamless digital experience for the bank's diverse customers, which includes individuals, SMEs, corporates, financial institutions, and governments.

The core of our approach lies in translating predefined testing paths, crafted by the bank's manual testers and vetted for automation feasibility, into robust code. These automated tests include all essential elements, empowering the bank to streamline its testing processes and accelerate time-to-market for new features and enhancements.

Our role extends beyond mere test creation; we actively support the test automation team in enriching the automated test repository. This involves not only writing new tests but also analyzing, maintaining existing tests, implementing improvements, generating comprehensive reports, and swiftly addressing any encountered errors.

Tests are launched remotely, executed with precision, and the results are promptly accessible, allowing for instant identification of any anomalies or deviations from expected behavior.
