Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We built a brand new Workflow Managment SaaS from the ground up that focuses on understanding effort.  The software supports small creative and technical serivces firms in the USA.  We're a bootstraped startup and needed a reasobly priced, yet strategic partner to work on the interface that users will experience.  And that is what we hired them for.  The key areas that we hired them for includedin.  First, to create component libraries for specific functions we knew we would need.  This started off with a mater list of known components and continuously, we found the need for additional components from time to time as we progressed.  2) Using the component libraries, create UI concept designs (lo-fi) for screens that the users will engage in as they work int he system.  and 3) they created the detailed screns for nearly every page/section of the software, which amounted to several hundred interconnected screens.  It was an astronimcal amount of effort. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We ultimately developed the entire workflow management system from end-to-end to work with the developers on creating.  It saved an astronimcal amount of development time and as we learned, having semi-functional prottypes clarified the specs in many cases that we would not have if it weren't for the screens.  To this day, we still reference those gazillions of screens.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

We ran mostly on time.  I would say about 90-95% on time.  It was a very itterative process after we finished the component library.  What I particularly liked was that they were always eager and willing to jump right in.  As the client, I often found myself to be the bottleneck.  Very rarely did they promise a deadliune and not make it. I feel like there will always be missed deadlines here and there, but these guys were on it.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It's kind of a tie in my mind.  First, their English (if I'm being honest).  My lead on the team sounded like British royalty.  He spoke eloquently, was clear in his communication and easy to follow.  Nearly as impressive was their consultative approach.  They flat out told me I was wrong at least several dozen times.  They lent perspective and ideas to make the UI better, often challening my assumptions.  I always told them to do that and not to be afraid, but I think they would have anyhow.  If you need a "yes" team... forget these guys. If you want a team that will lend expertise and experience unabashedly, then this is your company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something IT KUMAIL (ITK) ONLINE SOLUTIONS (PVT.) LTD could have done differently?

Their internet is slightly unstable.  That made it challening some times to communicate.  We have had to postpone Zoom meetings here and there.  I know they moved into new offices in roughly September 2023 and things do seem better.

Their project management was great. Efficient, timely, helpful, and they took ownership of the project. They kept up good communication and provided updates in a timely manner. IN addition, their followthrough after the project was compelte wsa also comprehensive and inclusive of addiitonal changes that were needed.
