I’m the owner of Look Outdoors, an outdoor marketplace.

I needed someone to develop our web app.

They used Ruby on Rails to develop our web app that acts as a classifieds platform regarding the outdoors. Our requirements include easy functionality, a search feature, and a simple visual layout and design.

I’ve been working with the owner and the web developer.

I found them on Upwork and after interviewing a few different developers, I chose iSOFTSTUDIOS because they’ve been very attentive from the get-go.

The ongoing partnership started in March 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

As far as feedback is concerned, we just recently launched the site so it’s going to be a slow grind to gain more traffic. Besides that, iSOFTSTUDIOS has been consistently professional, timely, and responsive. They answer all our emails and if there are any concerns, they’ll fix it right away — and that’s really all I can ask for when I’m spending money and trying to build something.

How did iSOFTSTUDIOS perform from a project management standpoint?

The partnership works out well despite the time zone differences. We figured out a time that works best for us to have meetings so overall, it’s been a positive experience. We typically communicate through email and Zoom.

We’re impressed with their attentiveness.

There were instances at the beginning of the project where they missed a couple of key corrections on the wireframes I sent.

I would suggest talking to them about what you want to achieve. They’re very professional, so just be honest with what you’re looking for and what your budget is.

The iSOFTSTUDIOS communication is their greatest asset. No development project is trouble free but our troubles were minimal and I never felt like we weren’t going yo achieve our objectives.
