I’m a data analyst for an aftermarket automotive parts company. We primarily sell Jeep parts, but we also sell parts for other vehicles. We sell everything from replacement parts to new bumpers, lift kits, and nearly everything needed to outfit or repair vehicles. Our customers are those who want to change the look of their vehicles.

We needed help with conversion rate optimization (CRO).

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially granted Invesp access to all our analytics tools to give them an idea of what they were getting into and to identify potential problem areas. They started with exploration on their end and then refined that into a roadmap.

We used FigPii, a testing tool developed by Invesp. We had a testing tool prior to that, but our contract was up at about the same time we decided to go with Invesp. They mentioned FigPii had some advantages in terms of deploying custom code and JavaScript, so it made sense to make the switch if it was going to speed up our testing deployments.

Currently, Invesp provides us with CRO services. They’ve also undertaken significant development work, some creative work, and strategic project management, essentially functioning as our in-house CRO team.

We have a project manager who serves as our primary point of contact. At least two teammates are involved in the development and test ideation phase. We also have a strategic and data analytics teammate on their side. One of Invesp’s co-owners is on nearly every call, and there are always 1–2 other teammates involved in the development aspect of things. In total, we can contact at least four teammates on most days and get an answer within an hour.

How did you come to work with Invesp?

We began with a comprehensive search and spoke with 15–20 agencies. We whittled that down to five and then down to two. We read reviews on Clutch during that time. The process was fairly lengthy, taking approximately three months.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested between $30,000–$60,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The partnership started in July 2025, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve seen an increase in our conversion rates. Sometimes that depends on how you calculate it. Invesp says it’s much higher, but what we’ve seen is probably as low as 3.3% and potentially as high as 11.2%. Our focus is on conversion rates because it’s a fairly competitive space.

How did Invesp perform from a project management standpoint?

Invesp delivers work on time and on budget. We mainly communicate through Slack and share documents through Google Drive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their attention to detail and ability to uncover things are impressive. That’s a benefit of working with agencies. Invesp works with other retailers, so they’re well aware of the challenges in our industry. Some of those challenges aren’t specific to the automotive industry; they’re general to retail.

Moreover, their research is very thorough. They’ve conducted a couple of ad hoc research projects for us, such as customer interviews. We’re considering another one, which will be a more comprehensive competitive analysis and benchmarking.

Simply put, Invesp is able to incorporate their knowledge into a roadmap, communicate the roadmap and the results of the tests along that roadmap, and then adjust it accordingly based on our feedback or their observations. Essentially, they can deliver.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. We haven’t had any issues with any of our projects.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Provide Invesp with the necessary data, especially at the beginning. Let them go to work before you add too much. Sometimes, when you’re aware of the challenges, you want to work on them right away. However, let them tell you which ones they think have the best opportunity. In our case, we gave them as much information as they needed and got out of their way.

Invesp helps us with A/B testing, including content, CTAs, images, and videos. The team also helps us understand our traffic and improve our lead generation. They have their own A/B testing tool that we use. Invesp has also been running polls on our website to collect user data and help us understand user intent.

For example, we were interested in doing our podcast internally. Invesp created a poll on our website that popped up after a certain amount of time after someone was on our site. The poll asked users if customers listened to podcasts, for how long, when, and where they listened to them. We gathered a lot of data to help us determine what kind of podcast we would launch.

They have an extensive, knowledgeable team across many areas, including A/B testing, analytics, content creation, SEO, developers, and designers. About six people actively attend our meetings every week, although we talk to one or two every week, and the rest assist with collecting information.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've seen a lift in our visitors visiting the pages we want them to visit to educate themselves and become a better lead for us. While we haven't seen more leads specifically, we've seen better leads, which results in more enrollments.

How did Invesp perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication is excellent, and we have no issues with it. Invesp shows up and engages between our meetings and via email throughout the week. The team shares everything with us and has a nice system where they take notes and follow up on any questions we might have. We're satisfied with that.

We schedule meetings and stay connected week after week. We meet with them weekly for about 30 minutes to an hour to discuss current tests and results, challenges, and opportunities. We use Slack, email, and Google Meet to communicate.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

We've mostly worked with Ayat, the company's co-owner. She's very knowledgeable in CRO and A/B testing. She's been invaluable and patient in explaining things to us when we didn't understand. She shows up every week and does what she says she'll do.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The breadth of knowledge Invesp has on A/B testing is impressive. They've been around and doing it for so long. Invesp has built their own A/B testing tool called FigPi, which is quite intuitive. The tool does everything from heat mapping to tracking clicks and user journeys, besides all the A/B testing the team needs to do. We like their approach because we don't rely on someone else's solution. We appreciate that there's a team that knows A/B testing inside and out.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there's nothing I'd have them improve at this point. There have been occasional hiccups, but that happens with anything. We're pleased with Invesp.

A/B testing and CRO are key for any business that has a website and relies on lead generation. Invesp is a great team and partner to have because they understand it. They've been doing it for long and are mature in the role. Anyone who wants to increase their conversion rates, leads, and bottom line should take advantage of Invesp. The benefit far exceeds the cost month over month.

This project lasted about 15 months.  Invesp developed modifications to the design of our website that they hypothesized would result in a higher conversion rate of website visitors to appointments for in-home consultations.  They presented these ideas, accepted our feedback, developed and implemented the new web pages, and conducted an A/B test to determine if the new design resulted in a higher conversion rate.

What challenge were you trying to address with Invesp?

We had lost a few of our enterprise clients and weren't sure if we were putting our efforts in the right place to convert existing customers to more expensive packages. Overall, we weren't happy with our sign-up rates. We're a SaaS company with two sales funnels. The first funnel is the registration funnel, where new users register for our service, and the second funnel is the most important one since it involves the journey users go through after registering for our service. 

We identified issues in some areas of our sales funnels, including a low conversion rate from registered users to active users. We wanted to focus on improving our conversion rate and the journey users go through from registration to active users.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Invesp started the project by analyzing users' behavior after they registered to our platform. The team then analyzed the funnel's journey and focused on improving the conversion rate. Then, we divide the project into two parts. One part focuses on improving the conversion rate of web visitors to registered users, which initially was close to 1%. Invesp is now focusing on the funnel of active users converting to paying customers. 

Invesp provides recommendations and implementations to increase our conversion rate, one of which involved expanding our team to have more resources dedicated to user accounts. We've handed Invesp the analysis, design, and overall UX of the entire funnel and user journey, from the first page users land on until the last step of becoming a paying customer. 

Invesp also runs ads and creates and optimizes landing pages. The team also helps us with general analysis since we don't have an in-house specialist. Invesp analyzes our recorded data and offers recommendations.

At the beginning of 2020, our conversion rate from registrants to active users was 13%, and after 2020, we've maintained a rate of 50%–75%. On the other hand, our conversion rate of web visitors into registered users has increased from 1% to 5%. Our funnel of active users converting into paying customers has risen from 30%–40% to 50%–60%.

Invesp has been successful throughout our engagements and surpassed our initial goals. Last year, we had a competitor that had the majority of the market since their product was free. This competitor shut down the project in September 2023, and the most significant success we've seen from our partnership with Invesp has been taking action as soon as this happened to ensure we capitalized on this opportunity. Our business has almost quadrupled since October 2023. 

At the same time, we've maintained our business increase and conversion rates. Before working with Invesp, when we had a cycle where the interest in our business increased, our conversion rate would typically decrease. But this time, Invesp has been incredibly successful and helped us maintain interest in our company and our conversion rates.

We've involved Invesp in our internal project management because they're extremely organized. There have been a few instances where work has been delayed, and most of the time, we've caused the delays. Our goal is to implement Invesp's project management system internally. The team goes above and beyond and has helped us implement their project management process.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Invesp excels in delivering the goals we set and in their project management, being detailed to document work. I'm also impressed with Invesp's speed because sometimes we have emergencies and require a teammate to take on work immediately, and Invesp responds as soon as we bring up the request.

I can't think of anything Invesp can improve. We're really happy, and they're the only vendor we've stuck with for this long.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since implementing Invesp's recommendations, visitors to our landing pages spent roughly 300% more time on the pages, which was incredibly valuable because we had leads coming in who were more informed about our company's work. This helped with our processes of onboarding new prospects because we didn't have to over-educate them. The fact that prospects were spending more time on the site was excellent progress and the metric of consequence that I most thought of about this project.

Invesp made many changes to our landing pages, and many of their recommendations seemed like common sense after they were told, but when we were building the page on our own, we didn't know any better. I knew their suggestions would be effective as soon as I heard them, and the team had data to back them up, which gave me confidence about how the pages would perform.

Invesp was very good at managing the project efficiently and moving through the various stages. The team was very communicative about all the tasks they were working on and when they needed us to work on something. From a project management perspective, Invesp was very easy to work with. Invesp managed the project via Trello, although we didn't engage on that platform because we had weekly progress calls with the team via Google Meet.

I want to shout out Khalid's work. He knew our type of business and was a phenomenal communicator to teammates who weren't technical professionals. Khalid translated work to my team of non-technical marketers, and I appreciated him taking the lead on this project because he made it efficient.

I was incredibly impressed by Invesp's expert knowledge of landing page optimization. Because of my background, I thought I knew a lot about this area, but Invesp far exceeded my knowledge in a way that was easy to understand. Invesp performs around four A/B tests monthly with a good success rate. After three months of collaborating with Invesp, the tests’ success rate has increased and is now above the industry’s standard. We've also improved our ROI.

Moreover, we’ve learned a lot about conversion rate optimization by working with Invesp. We’ve learned how to do an A/B test step-by-step, from the hypothesis to implementation.

Invesp meets deadlines and answers our questions in a timely manner. We communicate through Slack and have a weekly Zoom call. We also use Trello and Google Drive to collaborate.

I’m most impressed with Invesp’s organization. They’ve given us great examples of how their implementations will work for us moving forward. Invesp provides a service while teaching us how to do conversion rate optimization properly. 

Moreover, Invesp is really helpful. They’ve given us market insights and helped us with some technical aspects of our site. For instance, Invesp has addressed some problems with our IP. They’re oriented on resolving their client’s problems, which is a good quality for an agency.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The A/B testing success rate was lower at the beginning of our engagement. I understand it takes time to know a company; however, if Invesp could accelerate those great results from the beginning, that would boost their client's results faster. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I definitely recommend to work with Invesp if your company is in its primary phase or launching a new digital product. Our brand is not very mature, but we already have a level of revenue that allowed us to invest in this partnership, and it was totally worth our investment.

Moreover, I also recommend giving Invesp as much information about your brand as possible; this way, they’ll get results quicker. Start doing the A/B testing that will have the most impact on your business. 

Lastly, if your product responds to certain seasonality, I recommend starting working with an agency during your strongest sales season. Otherwise, if you start the project during a low sales season, you won’t have as much investment in ads and digital marketing. Many customers don’t think about this seasonality, which is important.
