What was the scope of their involvement?

They’re building a custom healthcare fertility software. It’s patient-centered, where we connect fertility specialists, nurses, the pharmacy, and patients together in one platform to create a cohesive treatment plan to ensure the patient has a successful fertility cycle. The software includes multiple portals, one for health care professionals, one for patients, and one for our company.

inVerita is also building a mobile app that acts as a learning software. Finally, there’s a logistics application that allows us to schedule and track shipments. Additionally, they’re building a clinical module that allows us to track patient well-being and monitor their progress along their injections.

One of the biggest features is being able to track inventory and be proactive in ensuring patients have enough medication to complete their cycle. We’re in the beta stage right now and will launch in about one month.

They’ve also handled all the design work. We communicated our vision and requirements to them and their designer created wireframes in Figma. They’re also going to work on keeping the app secure with its confidential nature.

What is the team composition?

I don’t know how many developers there are working exactly, but there are at least 12 people on every call, including a project manager, a business analyst, a designer, a lead developer, and a project lead. There are 2–3 backend developers and 2–3 QA resources assigned currently.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $200,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since June 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I don’t have any specific metrics, but they’ve been timely in developing the project. There haven’t been any major delays as we work through our bi-weekly sprints. Everything has been going as planned.

How did inVerita perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very responsive. We’ve stuck to our timeline and our budget — especially compared to prices in the United States. Because the scope of the project has increased so much, the budget did increase a bit. There was a bit of back and forth with one of their teams when we didn’t see eye to eye, but we squared that away quickly and continued moving forward.

We communicate over emails, Confluence, and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We change our minds a lot, and they are flexible, changing the work on the fly to incorporate our fluctuating ideas without sacrificing our time limits. Additionally, they’re good at giving suggestions, taking initiative, and improving our processes.

Their talent stands out as a highlight. I’m not sure if this is their first project in the healthcare field, but they’ve asked the correct questions and displayed an impressive thought process throughout. What we’re doing has never been done before; they understand what we’re picturing in our head. We parted ways with our previous vendor because they couldn’t understand what we were envisioning.

Are there any areas they could improve?

This isn’t an issue currently — it only was in the beginning, but they corrected it — but there were a lot of assumptions early on. They would build a piece of the software and then we would wonder why they built it that way, as we didn’t describe it like that. We’ve already addressed this, but they shouldn’t be afraid to ask questions.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open and keep a straight line of communication going, as they’re good at responding and meeting customer needs. Give them as much information as possible.

For what projects/services did your company hire inVerita, and what were your goals?

Methodics IPLM web application required significant re-architecture as well as focus on quality in user experience. The goal was to extend the small in-house team with InVerita team in order to achieve roadmap goals for the product and deliver value to customers sooner.

How did you select inVerita and what were the deciding factors?

We searched for web developers in SF Bay Area in a very competitive hiring environment. Methodics was a small start up company at the time and competing with major Silicon Valley firms on top talent has proven to be exceptionally difficult. We have reached out to InVerita for help. After interviewing multiple candidates, we quickly identified the top talent that the project required.

Scope of work included ongoing development against roadmap items, including new features, bug fixes, major and minor enhancements. In addition, we had a goal of transitioning from an outdated Javascript framework (AngularJS 1.6) to a modernized stack based on Vue.js framework.

Team has been able to successfully deliver on product roadmap goals as well as greatly increase product quality and modernize the technology stack.

Methodics uses scrum-based agile methodology. The main project management tool is Jira.

Very impressed with quality of the talent. The team has been exceptionally productive, with great attention to detail and quality. Continues to work incredibly hard.

Had a few minor issues with pre-screening of candidates. This was resolved by improving the pre-screening process.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We gauge their success on the quality of their deliverables, and whether or not they’re providing from a services standpoint. As inVerita builds products for us, they meet the industry standard that we want to provide to our customers.

If there’s ever something that doesn’t meet our expectations, they’re very quick to jump in and change it.

How did inVerita perform from a project management standpoint?

Overall, their communication is great. In terms of deadlines, inVerita usually meets them, but sometimes we ask a lot of them and it can get pretty tight. 

We have meetings, phone calls, and emails to stay in touch. They also provide us with status updates on a daily basis. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The character of their leadership is most impressive. I’ve spent quite a bit of time with them, and they’re downright great people. 

From a business perspective, inVerita delivers. They haven’t scaled beyond their means; they’re still providing high-quality services. They take their company values very seriously.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re very used to being able to deliver on most things they do. However, I think they should add a little bit of caution before they say yes to certain deadlines.

It doesn’t really affect me negatively, because it’s tough to put deadlines on the work we do, but I think they could improve there.

They do big projects well, but they do small projects well too. Give inVerita an opportunity to show you some success, and they’ll deliver.

I am the CEO of a fintech company. We provide software in the investment management space.

What challenge were you trying to address with inVerita?

We were looking for someone to help us with IT development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They are one of the main providers that we use in terms of developing the features of our system. It is a web-based platform with .NET core on the backend and Angular on the frontend. We do our hosting on AWS. 

We started from the beginning with them, from design to the delivery of all the features. They continue to improve the features as long as the business needs evolve. It is a web-based system with a username and password and access to a different set of features. Many modules are available, and it is a mix of due diligence features, CRM, research management, and workflows. It combines different types of business needs within one single platform. It has a lot of configuration and flexibility around how users can use different features.

What is the team composition?

There are 10–12 people in total. We have a project manager and one lead developer. Under him, there are some back- and frontend developers.

The CEO from inVerita is involved in more of a monitoring way and not 100%, which is normal. My main need is around the developers themselves, but the CEO is involved whenever needed.

How did you come to work with inVerita?

We have been working together for over two years now, and I can’t remember exactly how I found them. I think I knew the project manager from a previous company she worked with. I asked her if they would be able to do certain tasks, and they showed a good level of professionalism.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them around April 2018, and the work is ongoing.

I think so far, so good; I don’t have any complaints. They have a bunch of smart people who work quite hard. I think the quality of the development and the methodology they use is quite good, which is why we are still working with them after two years.

How did inVerita perform from a project management standpoint?

I think they are good. Based on the pressure we put on them from our side, they have performed quite well. It isn’t an easy mission for them, taking into account the amount of pressure we put on their team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I am most impressed by the key team that I have. There are four core members who are quite smart and committed to the project. Whenever we need them to work after hours or over the weekend, they are there. They are quite dedicated and flexible. Their flexibility and reactivity are quite outstanding.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I cannot think of anything right now.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s always about the core team. They have a team of 80–100 people. I don’t know about other clients and their experience, because every client will have a core team. The team that works with me is good. We assess the different members, and if there is someone who isn’t performing or if we have doubts, we will replace them. That is something they are open with and address quite quickly. They are trying to maintain a high level of quality across the team. It isn’t always easy, but I think we have been addressing it quite well together over the last couple of years.

I’m the CEO of Lightcatch, a crowdsource solution to stop any suspicious activity and provide information to law enforcement.

What challenge were you trying to address with inVerita?

We hired their team to deliver the Android application, but they’ve ended up working with us to create the iPhone app, too.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve worked with our developers to handle backend development, design, and database administration for both iOS and Android. They took the original design concept and turned it into a functional codebase. Their team has utilized Kotlin and Swift to develop the applications. 

What is the team composition?

Between 5–6 people have worked with us on this, and I interact with all of them directly. 

How did you come to work with inVerita?

I found a Ukraine-based developer who wasn’t looking to work on startup projects so they recommended inVerita. We spoke to a few providers but found that they were the right choice and our partnership grew from there.

We’ve spent around $150,000.

We began working together in April 2018 and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

For the Android app, we’ve never had any public crashing issues. Their work has been exceptionally stable and extremely well received. Even with the trade-offs that they have to make with our budget, they’ve done the best with the resources they have. 

How did inVerita perform from a project management standpoint?

Our engagement is broken up in three segments, the third of which started this past year. During this time, we used the Shape Up process outlined on Basecamp’s website and it went really well, despite them having never heard of it before. Once I better understood how these projects run, I got much better results from their work. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They bring high competence to the table. Every person they’ve thrown my way during the development phase has been great and knows what they’re doing. They know which person on their team is better at certain things, and every resource knows how to do the job. 

They are quite thoughtful in their process, managing to deliver everything within the deadline but still making great suggestions for improvement. They’re thoughtful, conscientious professionals who have been a great fit for us. The team is always willing to try something new or see what will deliver the most value through UX and code. They consider risk management without raising the budget, so they’re very cost-conscious. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I had expected a designer to be responsible for the entire UX, not just the design of the app, so that may have caught them off guard.

Have realistic expectations. Make sure you understand the process of how software gets built and they’ll deliver a professional product.

We needed to outsource frontend development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We worked on several projects together and collaborated with inVerita as a development partner. One of the biggest projects we worked on was a web-based platform for a client from Israel who also has offices in Switzerland. 

We were responsible for product design, UI/UX design, as well as general project management. inVerita was involved with development work, especially frontend development and some backend development. They worked with Angular and Java on the backend.

After that, we continued the collaboration and delivered some new features. Now, we’re working on the marketing aspect, user engagement, and improving the general process.

It’s an international platform and an independent web platform used for locating, analyzing, and evaluating investment opportunities. It’s an innovative tool that provides data-driven investments, ideas, and portfolio control especially for individuals and independent investors. 

The tool collects data from third-party systems and helps individuals and independent investors create their portfolio online. In general, this platform covers over 60 markets and different industries.

There were four to five members on their team that worked on this project, including the developers. We also had a project manager and lead developer as our main points of contact.

How did you come to work with inVerita?

We had created the first part of the project as well as some general architecture and documentation. We sent those to several potential development companies in Ukraine as well as India. 

We also had meetings with each of the vendors and considered all the pros and cons. Based on the proposals, estimations, and solutions, we selected inVerita.

We began working with them on this project in May 2019, and the work is still ongoing.

We were satisfied with the results because they delivered everything they promised on time and within budget. 

In general, the quality of work was high. There were no bugs and the software worked well. We were able to launch successfully. 

In terms of the development software, the project has been great, and the software has been functional and reliable.

They performed great and kept high communication standards. They are responsive, and we have no communication or project management issues. 

In general, they had good project management standards. They communicate regarding the scope and budget, and they send reports and invoices. Everything was always clear.

They are really detail-oriented. They are professionals at all levels, from the presale stage to the delivery stage. We were impressed by the level of professionalism of all the team members we communicated with.

In general, I can’t find any significant issues.

We needed to be able to easily track and manage our inventory and financials. We also needed to track truckloads because sometimes we do partial loads or pallets go missing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

inVeritaSoft built us a web and mobile application for tracking and managing our inventory from scratch. They created barcode stickers that we can put on every item to scan it and automatically add the info to our system. It contains all the financial information for our company. Staff can log in via any device that’s connected to the internet to access the system. Right now, it’s being tested; it’s working well and they make continuous updates to it. They’ve also built an application to track our warehousing and truckloads.

We send them our requests and whatever information we think they need. They manage all the design and development on their end. All we had to do was tell them our problem and they built the solution.

We work directly with a project manager. I’m not sure how many people are involved on their side.

A friend who had been working with them introduced us. The friend showed us what inVeritaSoft had done for them. When we met them, we told them what we needed and they said they could build it so we moved forward.

Both the inventory and load tracking have helped us a lot. We can see everything we have, what we’re receiving, and what we’re delivering all in one system. Every person in the company with access to the app can have all the info they need.

The quality is very professional. Their team really knows what they're doing. We’re fully satisfied with their services.

We’ve had 24/7 access to the product manager. We communicate via phone or email. if we need to adjust something or make a correction, it’s done quickly. We haven’t had any delays or lagtime.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have people who know what they're doing. For whatever problem we have, they can always come up with a resolution.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The company is based in Ukraine and we’re in the US. It could be helpful if they had a branch near us. If they were more local, they might be able to dig more deeply into the customer’s needs.

Any customer needs to know what problem their company has that they want to resolve. If the customer is clear, inVertitaSoft will be able to help them. Otherwise, it’s going to be hard for them to explain what they need.

I’m the owner of BTE Global. We help companies around the globe with continuous improvement. Enhancing and streamlining their processes often involves developing new or upgrading existing software.

What challenge were you trying to address with inVeritaSoft?

We needed help with the development of our mobile app for tourism.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our largest project together was Tourburst, a mobile app for a small community in rural Illinois. The region usually attracts about 60,000 tourists each year. Visitors are often unaware all of the attractions to see because they’re not listed on Google. We also created the same app for the entire state of Mississippi. 

inVeritaSoft stayed involved from requirements and concept stage all the way through the build. They developed versions for Android and iOS based on the requirements we gave them. All of the apps they’ve built for us feature geofences, push notifications, and admin panels with security protocols for different levels of authentication. 

Maps are the most essential components of our apps. inVeritaSoft created a solution that’s simple and robust at the same time. When the user is looking for something fun to do on locally on their trip, the product makes it easy to locate interesting options. Results can be sorted in accordance with location and time.

Currently, they’re working on APIs for the websites we produce for our clients. They also handle our server uploads and store interaction with iOS’s App Store and Android’s Google Play. We have three pieces of software under development with inVeritaSoft, one of which is up to version four.

What is the team composition? 

They assigned us one project manager, one client manager, a team of 2-3 iOS developers, and about 6-7 people for Android, backend, and admin panel development.

How did you come to work with inVeritaSoft?

I traveled to Ukraine a few times during my work with different software companies. A vendor we’d used was underperforming, so we needed a replacement. One of the owners of inVeritaSoft reached out to me via LinkedIn. Based on our discussion, he said he could fix the situation. 

How much have you invested with them?

We paid $48,000 for version three of Tourburst.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from April – June 2018. We just completed the upgrade requirements for version 3.5 and 4.0 at a meeting less than two weeks ago. 

Now, we’re getting ready to hand off a couple more projects to them. Since another developer has dropped the ball on our medical software, we’ll probably have inVeritaSoft take over that one, as well.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since the launch, we’ve had over 4,500 downloads between iOS and Android users. Many people who used it gave us positive feedback. During the upcoming tourist season, we’re expecting around 10,000 downloads. 

inVeritaSoft delivers very high-quality results. They’re an established company that conducts training-focused meetings. When I visited their location, I saw they have multiple offices. They host an array of functions to discuss customer focus. 

inVeritaSoft always finds the simplest and most economical approach to benefit the client. They never make unreasonable requests or try to price gouge.  We were stuck in a difficult situation, and they quickly provided a solution. The entire development only took about 60 days. nVeritaSoft truly saved the day for our company.

How did inVeritaSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

Originally, we set ambitiously high targets for the timeline. Since we needed to finish the project so quickly, we waived some of our development cycle requirements.  They completed a full rebuild and got a usable app out the door within 60 days. 

inVeritaSoft had a stellar project management performance in terms of cost, quality, and time. The first iteration had a few bugs, but nothing was too noticeable. They changed specific aspects as we worked through new version upgrades. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

inVeritaSoft is a regimented team of professionals. They’re well-managed, run a tight ship, and never use guesswork to make decisions. We could tell how much training and development goes on in their company. They have policies, procedures, methods in place. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Being flexible and agile is an important goal. We also saw some staff turnover on their team. It’s difficult to use the same platform for every customer, but we’d prefer to have consistent processes and teammates throughout our entire app development.

Making sure you understand how they’ll conduct quality checks and deliver the work to you will ensure you receive exactly what you asked for.

I was the chief executive officer and co-founder of a cryptocurrency company.

We needed help creating cryptocurrency wallets and coins.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We gave them instructions for what we wanted them to do. We planned to use a security coin that was on the market at that time, but discovered that there was a backdoor that made the coin unsecure. inVeritaSoft went through the whole project to make sure everything was correct and the hole was blocked. Most of their involvement surrounded blockchain and cryptocurrency.

We were in daily contact with the owner and the programmer.

I found them online and reached out to them. We explained our issue at a meeting, and they agreed to help us.
