I'm architecting an app for a small startup I'm launching. This is a solo project for me so a strong third-party team is important.

I had built out a demo model of my app with very limited functionality. I needed a team to take my vision and expand it into a real world application.

Create an app with users and admin roles that will help small businesses utilize QuickBooks Online more efficiently and effectively.

I did some research and read reviews. In order to maximize value I was looking for a company offering fair pricing along with a great reputation. I also wanted a history of delivering on time. AMS checked all the boxes for me.

A mobile app that extends that functionality of a popular business accounting platform. It connects to the app using the platform's api, with all connections done automatically on the backend. The AMS team also built out an sdk for the app to have a user and admin system complete with a user permission page. The admin and users can be billed monthly through the Google Play and iOS app stores. .

What was the team composition?

Project manger along with a lead developer for Android and a lead developer for iOS.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The team has hit all deadlines with clean versions of the app at each milestone for testing.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very good, it is just me on my side which was all the more important to have a strong third party partner. They are very responsive to my needs and are very effective with their communication. I've never had to wait long for response and any questions or concerns are addressed almost immediately. .

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their knowledge of app development, not just the app itself but the process. And also responsiveness to my needs, any changes or suggestions are met with an open minded approach. They clearly want to listen and address their customer's needs, all with a very positive attitude!

The team has met all my expectations.

I love them. I can not say it enough. Without question, i never once was concerned about their honesty, work ethic nor capabilities.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Communication, expertise, willingness to complete the project at the set bid. When a deliverable took longer than they expected they did not charge for their over hours. This was fantastic.

The client was very happy after delivering the product & we’re continuing working on the marketing of the app.

As a Canadian-based development agency, we specialize in web development and are always looking for reliable mobile development agencies to partner up to fulfill our clients’ requests. It’s always tricky when searching for a good offshore dev shop, especially a specialized one with good communication processes & good quality development. We were building a web-based e-commerce shop and needed a mobile application done for our client.

We wanted to develop a mobile app that matched our existing websites user flow that big companies like Shopify provide to their merchants.

We connected on LinkedIn and I needed mobile development work done. We were pretty skeptical at first place, but during the call with their CEO Stan I could see they were professionals we can trust with previous ecommerce apps experience was also a relief for us.

Wireframes & prototyping of a mobile application from existing website, specification development, native iOS & Android app development, connection with our APIs, regression testing, launching the product to Apple and Google Play stores. They pretty much took care of everything connected with app development.

We’ve been working with their project manager and members of their dev team. They were constantly on calls with us helping us to solve technical problems & address issues pertaining to iOS and Android. They also a few designers, iOS developer, Android developer and QA specialist.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They totally got their part of the work done without almost any involvement from our end - so we were able to focus on the backend of the product. The client was pretty happy with the app and we are continuing our work to improve his business.

Clear communication, weekly calls, up-to-date and clear project management boards. Questions were addressed quickly & we felt as they constantly have someone on their end to answer any of our requests.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were experts in mobile development, ability to take care of the whole process from their end, expertise within our project (e-commerce development) and communication.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I’ve been sitting and thinking about this question for 20 minutes already - it’s pretty strange but I can’t recall anything to improve when working with these guys. Maybe something will come up to my head in the future, but the work done was really great.
