The project involved creating a legacy film honoring our retiring CEO's 40-year career, to premiere at our annual fundraising gala. Given the breadth of her career and impact, the project required developing a cohesive narrative from a wide range of personal stories, professional accomplishments, and perspectives.

Lauren and her team worked closely with us to develop the creative direction, identify key themes, plan interviews, and shape the overall narrative. Production involved approximately 40 interviews conducted over five shoot days as well as remote interviews, including filming at our residential communities and with a diverse range of people connected to our CEO's career and legacy.

Intercultural Productions coordinated all aspects of filming, production logistics, and post-production, ultimately delivering a professionally produced, emotionally compelling film that served as a centerpiece of our gala.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

The film was a tremendous success, both in the overwhelmingly positive audience response and in its contribution to a highly successful gala.

The video premiered to an audience that was visibly engaged and emotionally moved. Attendees laughed, smiled in recognition at stories and shared memories, and connected deeply with the celebration of our CEO's legacy. It accomplished exactly what we had hoped: honoring an extraordinary career while reinforcing the relationships, values, and mission that define our organization.

Our gala also raised more than twice the amount raised in previous years. While that success reflected many factors, the film was an important centerpiece of the evening and contributed to the overall atmosphere of celebration, connection, and inspiration.

Beyond the event itself, Intercultural Productions successfully delivered a complex, large-scale production involving approximately 40 interviews and five shoot days, resulting in a polished, compelling film that exceeded our expectations.

Given the value of the footage they captured, having more platform-specific content ready for Instagram Reels, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok would provide even greater marketing opportunities for clients. That said, this is more of an enhancement than a criticism. The scope of work covered the pre-production, production, and post-production of a ~4 minute video on the WPS Community Innovation Program’s effort and success in Salem Public Schools. The video may include high-quality on-camera interviews with various stakeholders, originally produced live-action footage, candid/iPhone video clips or archival materials provided by WPS, motion graphics and animation, and sound design.

SRT closed caption files and an MP4 video with embedded captions are included within the scope for ADA accessibility.
