BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the Marketing & Communications Leader. I joined in the fall of 2020 to increase brand awareness and execute several lead generating projects.

For what projects/services did your company hire Instinct Animations, and what were your goals?

Our Marketing team was very small and we didn't have lengthy animation experience to execute the 4 videos that Instinct Animations completed for us. We wanted to create educational videos around our complex process.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

This vendor was selected before I was hired.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

We created the concept or topic for the videos, create a basic script of what we wanted to achieve, Instinct would storyboard it and give us a rough draft of the video and we would make adjustments from there. We had a goal to keep the video under 3 minutes.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We communicated well over email most of the time with the occasional video call. We began at a great point so there didn't seem to be much confusion of what we wanted to achieve with our videos.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I don't have hard numbers to share in terms of conversions. The videos were great to use on social media and embedded in emails.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Before each video, we would have a quick video chat and outline the goals and then communicate the remaining items over email. Instinct followed our lead. If we needed more time, they didn't push us to hit a date.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

You would never know were were 1/2 way around the world from each other. It was easy to work with them. I also felt the price was very reasonable and worth the quality we received.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'm not sure if you have a way to create a draft video without tons of work. For example, a script plugged into a template so we could hear how long it takes and how the words sound before the animations are created. That would be helpful.

We needed to create an animation to simplify the process of pairing our clients device to a mobile application.

Instinct Animation contacted me and demoed their services, when a suitable project arose we wanted to give them a try considering there reasonable pricing and personable team.

We began with a kick-off meeting, we had follow-up calls at key milestones and they developed a detailed storyboard, and subsequent animations.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with a project manger who passed feedback to animators and kept the project on schedule.
