BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the owner of a wedding photography firm and we provide end to end photography solutions for weddings and other events.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Insightdrive Technologies , and what were your goals?

It was primarily to develop a website for my company for Web, Mobile, and Tablet. The goal was to create a very appealing and user-friendly website where customers could come and interact with our content and also post their requirements to us.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I found them on Wix. I went through their previous projects and found their aesthetic skill to be excellent which was a very important deciding factor for me given that we are into photography.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had a kick-off meeting to be clear on what I was looking for and what my primary goal here was. They clearly conveyed what I can expect from them. The explained each deliverable and were clear on the timelines. Key deliverables were 3 - the mobile version, the web version and the tablet version for my website. It was done on Wix's EditorX platform.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The project manager was our primary point of contact, apart from that we had a full-stack developer. We had a Whatsapp group which became very easy to voice any concerns and they were prompt in their replies and solution.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have just about launched our website so we have nothing to compare with, however, we did have positive feedback from our visitors and we did find them to spend a good amount of time on the website. Our primary intention was to entice the client with the presentation and that is definitely happening.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

After the first meeting, they sent us 2 mock-ups within 2 weeks and I was happy with both of them. We decided on one and then built on it. We had a meeting once every week and during the closing stages, we had a lot more Google Meet calls for live testing. The primary way of communication was Whatsapp since that was my preference. I wanted a very professional approach, yet a casual style of communication without complicating things too much.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are very professional and moreover, they could understand exactly what I was looking for in terms of the appearance of my website and its usability. Once they understood your requirements it became a lot easier for us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is nothing much that I can think of.
