BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

My name is Arsen Sahakyan and I am Project Manager and Sales Coordinator of E-Commerce website AraExpress.am owned by "Incript" LLC. The company was founded in 2012 and engaged in system integration and has a very big case of successed project in various industry from design and construction of LAN and WLAN networks of commercial buildings till the supply and configuration of server systems, from import and implementation of access control systems till the security systems integration for corporate clients.

The company has a few official distribution, representation, dealer and reseller statuses of various vendors such a Siemon, Belden, ZTE, HP, Cisco, Microsoft and others. In 2018 the board of directors decided to start operate also in B2C sector of electronic devices and computers market. The idea was implemented through E-Commerce website. In Dec of 2018 the company hired me as E-Commerce Project Manager. Now I am also responsible for the sells.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Innoverse?

Innoverse was hired as a professional team to design and develop, and after technical support our E-Commerce website.

What were your goals for this project?

At first we need a user friendly, mobile responsive, easy managing from administration and management point of view website. But very big importance for us were and is reliability.

How did you select this vendor?

We choosed Innoverse for the team professionalism, flexibility and, of course, the according references.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

AraExpress becomes one of the biggest E-Commerce platform in our country, because guys from Innoverse integrated in website various innovative and new tools such Online Credit payment method powered by EvocaBank. And now they are developing for us the same tool cooperative with AmeriaBank. Of course payment system by Credit or Debit Cards also integrated by them. They were develop internal search plugin for AraExpress and helped us to avoid buying that for a big amount. Whole the devops actions from the beginning also have been done by Innoverse team. Now by yearly contract the team is supporting and developing AraExpress.am as well as they created and launched that.

What was the team composition?

The connection is with the CTO for the technical questions and with the CEO for the contract and billing questions. Both of them, as other members of their team, are professionals in their jobs and satisfy both me, as a project manager and whole the board of directors, as owners of business. We could apply them for any questions not only during working hours and days but also beyond that.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

First of all, as I said, AraExpress is opened a new market sector for our company. Second, that is an opportunity to get more clients from B2B sector. And finally the project helped us to resist and safe our company in pandemic situation of coronavirus, because of the number of orders was increased.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The agile approach of their project management helped us to have well-working, quality website in short period.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We can discuss and give solutions to any technical problems even in night times (I love to working in night times :D).

Are there any areas for improvement?

During more then 1 year period of cooperation with Innoverse I haven't noticed any late done or incomplete tasks through their own fault. Of course, there were half done tasks, but they were quickly correct during testing period. So I can't highlight any unimprovements.

I’m a librarian and digital manager at Central Bank of Armenia, a national bank’s visitor center.

What challenge were you trying to address with Innoverse?

We needed someone to design and develop our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They designed and developed our website and online booking system where users can book their excursion date and time. They can also read news and play games. We receive it in our database. They developed everything from scratch and continue to help us with maintenance.

What is the team composition?

I work with four people.

How did you come to work with Innoverse?

Before our website, they managed our visitor center. Our board members decided to continue contracting with Innoverse.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $15,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2020 and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website is well done and works well. It’s stylish.

How did Innoverse perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is very good. We don’t have any problems. They deliver on time and budget.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are able to do urgent problem-solving. I can contact them 24/7.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We haven’t had any problems with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re good, kind people who will not disappoint you.
