With the increase of crop insurance in our company it was getting a little harder to process the claims. App being the most viable option to track on different parameters ie. location, data use on the go and time stamping we wanted to develop an app for the surveyers to minimise the losses.

We wanted to create an app for the surveyors. The app should use features like Time Stamping, Location, Image and case history with date.

As we were rigorously looking for a tech team, we were introduced to Innotical by a reference in the United states where in he had taken some services from the team.

We wanted to check the status of the crop that the farmer was cultivating. Because in crop insurance the major issue is that the farmers get careless in cultivation of the crops as they are bound to get a amount that has been insured. We deployed our surveyors with an app that the surveyor takes randomly to a farmer and clicks photos of the crop in the current position.

We also wanted to track if the surveyor was visiting the farmer or not hence we wanted to attach the photos that were clicked by the surveyor stamped with time and location. The app should have an feature where even if the internet is not working the photos would only be allowed by the app and would be stored in the app itself and not uploaded from the gallery.

Once our surveyor is at the geo location of a farmer the app should have prompted with the entire case history of the farmer. The surveyor has an option to raise a red flag if there is any problem. The entire monitoring is done on a dashboard that is present at our head office in Noida.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The claims have reduced by 25% and we are now able to track and alert our team of DISMAN to visit a site if we can predict the loss in advance.

Team Innotical was very prompt and understood the requirement very clearly. The SPOC for our project was Vineet Kumar and he had a great sense of client handling.

The spirit of Client First. They were always ready to accept the changes that came from our end and did not delay the timeline of the project.

I think the documentation can be a little better. Innotical develops such a great relation with the client that documentation of many changes goes unapproved. Apart from it everything was great.

It is a website that sells spectacles and sunglasses of various designs and brands. This gives the opportunity for users to a plethora of frames and designs. The payment acceptance method was internet banking, credit and debit cards and cash on delivery for a particular location.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Yes, the project has shown great success to us as after the website. There is a constant increase in traffic. And our sales have been increased in the past two months. We are getting more orders online rather than offline now.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We used bit bucket to track the source code and proof-hub to view overall progress. The team was responsive as they followed agile methodology, scrums were generated and delivered. We both gave each other a constant support throughout the project.

Their problems solving technique was rapid and accurate. They were up for the task and were very diligent for the project. The marketing team was hardworking to showing a commitment to meeting each of our goals.

A dating application in which the user login to view profiles of other people. Some likes and dislikes are also filled for information to show people who have the same like and dislike to get the match. One match, a private chat window is enabled.

Initially, there were 4+2+2 developers, analysts, and testers from their end but as the requirements were complex, they involved two more designers for the project during the development process.

Well, users love the application. All over the state app is used and appreciated. The stats of downloads shows success as over 5k downloads has been done in 3 months which is a milestone in itself.

I’m the co-founder of Hyperhire India Private Limited. We have an application named Jobket. It’s an AI-based job firm where we hire Indian candidates through various reference programs, and our AI system rates them in the backend. What was the scope of their involvement?

Innotical Solutions helped us develop the backend and frontend of our website. We have a design team working on the UX/UI, which Innotical then develops. They used Python, Django, and Angular Universal to make the whole solution. 

Also, they made a complete reference system for us where we could see all the algorithms needed to make sure that it worked successfully. The main unique selling proposition of our website is the reference system that a user can access.

We are working with about five people right now with two main points of contact.

Their quality is pretty good. They work decently well in terms of understanding a client’s requirements. They make sure they deliver on the timeline we ask for.

The look-and-feel of our website is very refreshing for the country. Usually, human resources websites are plain and basic. So, we tried to add colors, designs, and characters to make it more fun.

They make sure they deliver on the timelines we ask for. We communicate our brief through email, and then we go through a complete telephone rundown of any new changes. We have Google Sheets where we list any errors every day so that the team can check them. We usually work with them on WhatsApp and Skype. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are very genuine — that’s the biggest thing that distinguishes them from others. Also, they work on time. They understand the client’s requirements and urgency, which helps us work more closely with them. They are good at creating relationships with clients, which is important in India.

There is no problem when it comes to moving forward with them. Clients can rest assured that the work will be done.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their frontend team needs to improve a little. They need to bring in new talent so that the frontend is very seamless and works well. Sometimes, the frontend experiences errors. They should look into that, and come up with new solutions.

Potential customers should know their briefs well and create good briefs. They should have their requirements listed out properly so there’s no miscommunication. Customers should define their timeline correctly and make sure that the testing is done on time.

Innotical Solutions has helped us build mobile apps, web platforms, and AR projects for our clients. Their team builds the front- and backend while we supply the designs. 

In one case, Innotical Solutions helped us develop a web and mobile app that serves as a health database for patients. It describes diseases, symptoms, causes, and potential treatments so that laypeople are more informed about their health. The database differs from similar online resources because its information is more relevant to users based in India, where specific diseases and conditions are more prevalent than in the US, for example.

Another project involved a purely web-based tool for home décor retailers and designers dealing in hard goods—products built in wood, metal, glass, and other solid materials. It informs users of past, current, and future trends in the market, and it lets them categorize products by trend, material, availability, and other factors.

We wouldn’t be able to run our business as easily without Innotical Solutions. The cost of bringing on a different technology vendor is high. We’ve tried it in the past when we felt that we relied too much on Innotical Solutions for our development. However, it’s hard to find a partner that delivers the same level of quality and care for comparable prices.

When it comes to project management, I do have to get involved. Innotical Solutions could improve their processes, but I’m not sure that any other company could do it better. We also get a lot of personal attention that I don’t believe other vendors would give. The founder is on top of all our requests and communication. I schedule in-person meetings with him while the rest of my team likes to communicate via email and Skype.

Innotical Solutions is like our pseudo in-house tech team. They provide talented resources that take pride in their work and offer insightful ways to improve our projects. If I want to find a vendor that matches their quality and rates, I’d have to go outside our local area and change my work style. We are considering another vendor for a new project, but those are the choices we have to make in order to make it happen.

Innotical Solutions could improve their project management and timing. When I ask for delivery by Monday, I want it Monday morning, not Monday evening. We’ve given their team this feedback already. Apart from that, I can’t think of anything. Innotical Solutions has always been able to meet my needs.
