I am a Software Development Manager at a Market Research company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Innoraft Solutions Pvt Ltd, and what were your goals?

The hosting company for our website was sunsetting the version of PHP that our website was using. We decided to take the opportunity to make some other changes as well, including new document types and multiple other various changes to the design and features.

How did you select Innoraft Solutions Pvt Ltd and what were the deciding factors?

We inherited the website in an acquisition and the previous parent company recommended them.

Since we had worked with them before, we kicked off the project by sending an email with the tasks we wanted to accomplish and a deadline. Innoraft responded with an estimate by email.

Once we decided to move forward we met with the developers to review each item on the list, such as:

• Upgrade PHP to the latest version supported by the version of Drupal we were using.
• Purge old Drupal accounts
• Remove Twitter feed
• Add new document types
• Implement a re-activate account feature
• Update searching capabilities
• Various other logo and design elements

We prioritized the list and had regular check-ins as to the progress until the final rollout.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with an account executive for the high level aspects such as timelines and invoicing. Otherwise, we worked directly with two developers a lead and a junior developer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

It was absolutely imperative that the PHP update be completed by October 1st otherwise a PHP version upgrade would have been forced by the hosting company which would have broken features in our website. The PHP changes were significant.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

The most effective form of communication was to have regular meetings once or twice a week to discuss progress and answer questions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are very responsive and friendly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

For the most part the project went very well. We did not realize that some of the tasks had gone over budget until the final invoice, but we quickly and easily resolved.
